Chapter 1218: Xinxin, I Owe You and Our Son Too Much
Hearing her shout, both Yan Xinxin and Mo Chuxi’s hearts sank simultaneously.
Yan Xinxin quickly ran to Lin Yuan’ai, reaching out to take the wailing little one into her arms.
"What’s wrong, Little Yu Yuan? Mommy’s here, don’t cry."
She comforted him, but the little one kept crying.
Yan Xinxin raised her hand to feel the little one’s forehead, finding it unusually hot.
"What’s wrong with our son?"
Mo Chuxi, holding the little princess, walked to Yan Xinxin with a tense expression and asked.
"Why is he crying so hard?"
"Little Yu Yuan might have a fever, and since he has congenital heart disease, it’s not safe to handle it casually, quickly head to the hospital!"
Lin Yuan’ai suggested.
"Then you two go quickly, and I’ll watch Xi and Chun at home."
"Daddy, Daddy, brother is crying, what’s wrong with him?"
"Sweetheart, Mommy and Daddy are taking brother to the doctor now, we’ll be back soon, you two be good at home."
As Mo Chuxi spoke, he was about to put down the little princess, but Chun clung to Mo Chuxi’s neck without letting go.
"Chun wants to go too, don’t separate from Mommy and Daddy!"
"Xinxin, you promised to take me wherever you go!"
Mo Chenxi reached out and tugged at Yan Xinxin’s clothing, looking serious.
"Everyone’s going, everyone’s going!"
Lin Yuan’ai said anxiously, leading the way.
"Don’t waste time, hurry to the hospital! Uncle Zhong! Drive!"
Women and Children Hospital.
The whole way to the hospital, Little Yu Yuan cried harder and harder, several times almost unable to breathe.
Once at the hospital, a quick examination showed that the child’s heart rate was indeed abnormal again.
Without wasting a second, they directly sent him into the emergency room.
The moonlight deepened.
Mo Qingning and Lin Yuan’ai had returned to the manor because there was another little one at home to take care of.
Mo Chuxi stood in the corridor outside the emergency room, his steps heavy.
The little princess in his arms had already fallen asleep unconsciously.
The little one’s breathing was shallow, falling lightly on his neck, he even felt it becoming a bit moist, estimating that it was the little princess drooling.
After all, she’s his own, despite being tired and uncomfortable, he, as a father, was content.
Yan Xinxin sat on a chair, holding her son on her lap.
"Xi, are you sleepy? If you’re sleepy, just lean on Mommy and take a nap."
"Not sleepy."
Mo Chenxi shook his head, his small brows furrowed in confusion.
"Mommy, why has brother been in there so long and hasn’t come out yet?"
"Don’t worry, brother will be out soon."
Yan Xinxin smiled, touching Xi’s little head, then looked up at Mo Chuxi.
"Chuxi, come over and sit, you must be tired."
Hearing her caring voice, Mo Chuxi turned his steps and sat down beside her.
Yan Xinxin turned her head to see the little princess’s sleeping face, smiled slightly, then took a handkerchief out of Mo Chenxi’s shirt pocket and reached to wipe the drool off Mo Chuxi’s neck.
"Chun is so cute."
She smiled, and couldn’t help but sigh softly.
"Luckily she was adopted by Mommy and Daddy back then, and didn’t suffer."
Mo Chuxi gently moved the little princess into his embrace, lowering his head to look at her.
Like a cute little angel doll, so much like the young Yan Xinxin.
He touched the little princess’s pink cheeks, then turned his head, reaching out to hold Yan Xinxin’s hand, his gaze filled with apology.
"Xinxin, I’ve owed you and the kids too much."
He suddenly felt remorseful, unconcerned about the son nearby, and raised his hand to touch Yan Xinxin’s cheek.
"I’ve let you bear too much alone."
"Chuxi, why do you suddenly say this?"
