Drake enjoyed a meal with a distinct underwater flavor, leaning back contentedly in his chair at the cafe.

The Sun Tree Eve transmitted the sunlight it captured without any loss to the deep sea, illuminating the otherwise pitch-black seabed with its roots.

Thus, Drake could feel gentle sunlight, almost indistinguishable from that on the surface.

For Drake, while he had considerable free time, moments of true leisure were few.

Clearing his mind entirely, the matters that usually demanded constant consideration and thought flowed through his mind like water in a river, and this time, Drake let them pass without engaging his thoughts.

Drake sat there, holding a cup of coffee, exuding an aura of tranquility. And amidst this calm, the magic within Drake, which had been active since consuming the Mother Seed, began to settle.

In this tranquility, that power began to integrate into Drake’s core, truly becoming Drake’s own strength.

Left Minister looked at Drake, who seemed on the verge of falling asleep, and suddenly felt a peculiar sensation from the young man, who was renowned—or rather, infamous—on the seas.

It was a warm feeling, like the sunlight transmitted by the Sun Tree Eve.

Based on that warmth alone, Left Minister felt that this languid young man couldn’t be a bad person.

"My, what a comfortable young man!"

Drake lifted his eyelids and looked at the giant Merfolk who had approached at some point.

It was a Great White Shark Merfolk, with short black hair covering her right cheek, cold and beautiful blue eyes, and red lipstick on her lips. She wore a dark purple hooded top, and the pipe in her hand, adorned with purple nail polish, added to her mature charm.

Left Minister said, "Madam Shyarly! Why have you come in person!"

The newcomer was Shyarly, Arlong’s half-sister and the proprietress of this Mermaid Cafe. She possessed the innate ability to foresee the future through crystal balls, thus holding a special status on Fish-Man Island.

Therefore, everyone, including Left Minister, addressed her as "Madam Shyarly."

More than thirty years ago, she had foreseen the birth of the Mermaid Princess, the advent of the Great Pirate Era, and the outbreak of the Summit War, proving her predictions were somewhat accurate.

Madam Shyarly nodded at Left Minister and said, "I came specifically to meet this human young man."

Drake sat up and said, "I believe this is our first meeting!"

Madam Shyarly replied, "This is indeed your first time seeing me, but I have already seen you in my visions."

"Visions?"

Drake became interested. Having experienced so many worlds, he had encountered quite a few abilities related to foresight.

It was a wondrous ability involving the power of destiny, and how could it not pique his curiosity?

However, Drake was from another world and was protected by World Magic, making him essentially beyond the scope of individual worlds.

For Madam Shyarly to be able to observe his future suggested that her ability might differ from the precognitive abilities he knew.

Drake asked, "Then, what kind of future did you foresee?"

Madam Shyarly brought the pipe to her lips and took a puff, the bowl at the end continuously bubbling, as if to calm her nerves.

"Do you really want to hear? What I foresaw were all unfortunate events."

Madam Shyarly’s divination success rate was an astonishing one hundred percent, meaning everything she foresaw was bound to happen.

However, Madam Shyarly’s visions were all of unfortunate major events, such as the birth of the Mermaid Princess causing sea kings to trouble Fish-Man Island, the advent of the Great Pirate Era leading Fish-Man Island to face the threat of pirates, and Whitebeard’s sacrifice leaving Fish-Man Island without protection.

This included her foresight in the original story that Luffy and his crew would destroy Fish-Man Island.

Therefore, although she was respected by others for foreseeing many major events, Madam Shyarly herself considered this ability a burden.

Drake said, "The future? Until it truly arrives, no one knows what it will be like."

Left Minister opened his mouth, but ultimately it was Madam Shyarly who spoke what he wanted to say: "But my visions have never been wrong; those are all inevitable!"

Drake smiled and said, "So what? Should we give up the present because of a bleak future? That’s not my style."

Saying this, Drake’s expression became slightly more serious, and he continued, "Furthermore, I have always strived to walk forward, working to change a terrible future."

Drake’s words were not an exaggeration. Knowing the plot had given him an inexpressible advantage. But the price was the shadow of future tragedies constantly looming over him, leaving Drake afraid to relax even slightly.

As Drake said earlier, even if the future is bleak, one must not give up the present. Perhaps precisely because the future is so bleak, one must work even harder in the present.

Madam Shyarly paused, then sighed with relief.

What she didn’t tell Drake was that she had actually foreseen a scene involving him after the end of the Summit War two years prior.

She had foreseen the outbreak of the Summit War thirty years ago, but the outcome this time seemed different from her prediction, especially with the appearance of Drake and Stella.

Therefore, after the Summit War ended, she performed a divination, and the result was the scene involving Drake that she mentioned.

After that, Madam Shyarly had been keeping an eye on Drake. Although there was no news about him for two years, she had recently heard about his activities.

And now, seeing him in person, she finally understood why this young man could cause so many major events.

At least in terms of bravery, there was a world of difference between them. At the very least, when facing the future, she lacked his unwavering courage.

Madam Shyarly looked at Drake and smiled, saying, "I’ve met many important figures, but you are different from them!"

Drake didn’t doubt her. Madam Shyarly had divined for the Pirate King when she was still a child, but he was indeed different from Roger.

Madam Shyarly continued, "In my divination, I saw you burning Fish-Man District to ashes!"

Drake stroked his chin. It didn’t seem surprising that he would do such a thing. If Hody Jones and his group were truly unreasonable, burning Fish-Man District was entirely possible.

Thinking about it, the unfortunate events Madam Shyarly foresaw all had negative consequences for Fish-Man Island. Sometimes, misfortune is relative.

Burning Fish-Man District didn’t seem harmful to Drake. If Madam Shyarly hadn’t mentioned fighting sea kings, he wouldn’t have been too worried.

Just as Drake was thinking this, he suddenly noticed Madam Shyarly’s expression turn strange.

"What’s wrong? Is there something else?"

Madam Shyarly looked at Drake, recalled his words, and made a decision.

"The vision I saw also included... you fighting five monsters amidst the ruins of an island."
