"Oh, it's quite a fine village, unlike the camp-like village I was in."

I look at the village in front of me and raise my admiration alone. I wish I could have taken this far so well from the likes of that run-down abandoned village.

The village in front of us, during the war against the Kingdom of Britalis four years ago, was an abandoned village where criminals and brunettes like me were judged to have room for extenuating circumstances because of light crimes such as theft and penniless eating and drinking… well, it was only me and Rona who were there… but were used to trap the unit 'Dead Wall Squad', which stood at the forefront of the regular army and served as a shield for the soldiers.

After the war ended, all the surviving death squads were given money as a reward and this abandoned village. And it's the village in front of us that we rebuilt with the rest of us here.

It should have been smaller in my memory, but it was pretty spread out. Plus, the building you're building is pretty beautiful. Looking at the village from the outside,

"Brother, what are you doing?

and a brown-haired boy with wooden branches spoke to me. Behind it was a man anxiously or a blonde girl hiding behind him, grabbing the boy's clothes and looking at me.

"I've been here a long time. I thought it had changed a lot since then."

"It is. Hey, can a brother use a sword!? Teach me your sword!!

Without much interest in my story, the boy was glaring at Schwartz and Idea on my hips.

"Tell me the sword? No one around you?

"There aren't many adventurers or anything like that around here because there are few warcraft near Wang Capital. He said he had a sword, but he never learned it. Besides, I'm a kid, so blah! He won't let me have it."

A boy who arms himself and gets angry while saying so. That would make your father right. The boy in front of me is only about 7 or 8 years old. It would be dangerous to make such a child take it seriously. Well, I had it.

"You can't teach a sword without parental permission from a boulder. Besides, I'm not here enough to be taught all the time... and I ran away"

The boy, who heard only the part about being unable to teach without parental permission, ran straight to the house. Plus, put down the girl that would be my sister.

The girl reaches out looking at the boy's back, but the boy heads home unaware. The girl grabbed her own clothes and was about to cry even now. Absolutely, don't leave my sister.

I approach the girl and stroke her head. The girl looks up surprised, but when she smiles and gives her hand, she grabs a snack.

I walk straight to where the boy ran. The girl slowly, but she followed me.

The village was also getting better inside. The ground, which was bumpy, was well groomed, and the only thing that suitably set up a tent inside an abandoned village to fix a house where degradation was better was the width so that the carriage could pass through it securely, and there was no run-down house.

There's a little bit of confusion about the difference between the village in my memory and the one in front of me, but I guess those guys worked so hard. It's amazing, really. He said he was walking looking at a village like that.

"... Redius?

And I heard you calling my name. When I stopped and looked back, there was a slightly older figure of Galana there.

"Oh, you really are not Redius! Long time no see, you bastard!

When Galana notices me, she runs over and slaps me in the back with a bash. And the voice is huge. When I hear Galana like that, the other villagers come by. Some of them were in the Dead Wall Squad, and they all stopped by me.

It was the first reunion in years, but it was a pleasure to be welcomed so far.
