Black Iron’s Glory

Chapter 235: The Oak Shed

Chapter 238: The Oak Shed

It took Claude more than half an hour to get around the valley, to the edge of the big water pond, but he couldn't find any trace of the young girl and the big black wolf in the woods, so he had to start searching from the edge of the pond.

She went to the place where the girl was wearing bearskin and followed those bear-claw marks. It was almost evening, very dull and dark in the woods, and Claude had to put a bead of light in his hand to find their trace through the light. This is a deserted part of the mountain forest, and Claude can do a bright magic trick without being noticed.

Perhaps the bear skinned girl left a lot of trace in this dense mountain forest because of her panic. Claude followed the trail out of the woods and found the bear paw print coming out of the woods, turning over a hillside and disappearing into a forest in front of him. Far away, a couple of wolf howls, most likely the big black wolf, found Claude following them.

Claude had a hunch that the girl and the big black wolf should be in the woods up ahead, and that should be where they were hiding. Extinguished the beads of light in his hand, and Claude walked into the gloomy woods.

This little forest is a little sparse, unlike that tree on the slope by the water pond, which is evergreen. Because many tree leaves have not yet grown, the light is fairly good and the ground is rarely visible. Claude walked in, just a dozen steps, and as he stepped onto a rock, he suddenly “pounded” and a black smoke appeared in the middle of the air, only towards Claude's face mask.

Claude retreated, flashing out of the woods, watching the black smoke spread in the middle of the air, covering an area of about two or three plains, blocking his way. Smell it around your neck, it smells terribly bad, very disgusting, and even dizzy immediately.

It's poisonous smoke, and it's probably some kind of institutional trap that you're trapped in, and it's supposed to be used for guarding and guarding people who are hiding on the forest border, deporting beasts and unscheduled guests like yourself. But the poison cigarette was a good solution. Claude took a few steps back. First, he breathed some fresh air, and then he thought back carefully. He drew a magic charm array directly in the middle of the sky, put an air shield on it, and then shot a remote arrow on his body.

Mrs. Maria has always thought that this technique of air shields is of little use and that its effect is to insulate the air and the temperature, only to help herself survive a fire for up to five minutes more than others. Perhaps this is an excellent living environment for Mrs. Maria and does not encounter many difficult moments requiring the use of spells.

Unlike Claude, he thinks there's no useless spell, just no use of the law. Like this air shield, it's enough to cover itself with poison smoke in the front. In five minutes, it doesn't matter if you run into a few more poisonous tobacco organs.

In total, three poisonous cigarette traps were triggered, and Claude left the outskirts of the forest and entered the interior of the forest. It's just that Claude felt strange that he hadn't seen any kind of trap other than the poisonous smoke trap, so he gave him another look at the probe, and he looked forward, and Claude was stunned.

What surprised Claude was that the dense numbness in the forest up ahead was all a mark of magic, many of them slowly disappearing, and some of them were recent, with obvious magic marks left over in a day. Turning back, the magic mark on the outside of the woods is scarce, but the magic mark left behind at the three poisonous smoke trap organs he just touched is noticeable.

So the obvious magic imprint of the day was supposed to be a trap machine, and Claude avoided those magic imprints and continued to go deep into the woods. There are already obvious signs of human activity here, such as this small row of shrubs, which is supposed to be manually grown blueberries, which Claude saw on a farm in White Deer Town.

In front of it is an open space, where most of the ice and snow is melted, and Claude cruises several trees to the edge of the open space. He saw a large oak tree in the centre of the open space, with a small dilapidated shack underneath it. In front of the den, standing on that big black wolf, staring Claude out of the woods.

The low growled a few times, and the big black wolf burst into Claude like a lightning bolt.

“Pfft," Claudes unleashed a spiritual shock spell, which was too effective for the beast compared to the one he unleashed. On the way to the sprint, the big black wolf stumbled two steps forward, looked at Claude three or four meters away, his eyes were a little confused, and he didn't seem to understand what he was doing here. Turn in place for two turns, and your eyes again show a fierce look at Claude.

Claude gave another spiritual shock, and the big black wolf shook his head, slowly sniffing Claude's pants and running back. Claude watched the big black wolf run over to the old den, and found that the bear skinned girl sometime appeared next to the den with a spear in her hand.

“Hey, no offense, I'm a magician too. Can I see your elders?” Claude raised his hands and shouted.

The young girl ignored Claude. She took off her bear skin and put on her clothes sometime. However, the clothes seemed to be stitched together in a variety of furs. Some elephant bags for the disciples. She bent over and touched the big black wolf running back, then pointed at Claude, and the big black wolf roared at Claude a few times, pounding again.

“Sniffing” and "sniffing” were two spiritual shocks, and the big black wolf sniffed Claude's pants again and ran back.

“Don't let it come back, I'm afraid to make an idiot out of it.” Claude screamed, “I really don't have any bad thoughts. I just want to meet you. I know you guys, like me, don't want anyone to know who you are, but I'm also a magician, so it shouldn't matter, right? ”

It should seem relevant, because the girl jumped in with a spear, and that was clearly trying to poke a few holes in Claude's body.

“Cough, cough, that's not a hospitality thing.” Claude slipped away and avoided a spear from the girl. Perhaps Claude, a veteran of martial arts after entering the army, is not remarkable, but it is simple to deal with the young girl with the spear in front of her.

Grabbing the spear twisted, the spear made it easier to throw the spear away, grabbed the girl's shoulders and avoided her biting teeth: “Hey, hey, how can you bite with your teeth? You're not a dog. ”

Pushing clockwise, the girl pounded a few steps forward and climbed up and ran to the place where the spear had been thrown.

Claude was about to talk, but he saw the big black wolf with his red eyes pounding up again: “There's no end...”

“Tap," another spiritual shock, the big black wolf turned to bite his tail.

The girl ran to the spear and instead of picking it up, she turned to Claude. Claude thought he could speak well. I didn't expect the girl to have her hands painted in the middle of the sky and read words in her mouth.

No, Claude was shocked. This was a spell. He was trying to escape, but suddenly two green vines appeared on the ground. He quickly climbed up to Claude's body with his feet. He wrapped Claude around his ear like a mole and could no longer move. The girl leaned down to pick up the spear on the floor.

Well, that's a good trick, entangling enemies and then stabbing them with spears, like Claude as a straw target practicing stabbing.

The fact that the whole body was wrapped around the vine and could not be moved did not mean that Claude could not use the spell, meditated on the hand of the magician and applied the spell. Anyway, I can't move my whole body with this spell, which will work just fine. First, the magician's hand blocked the girl's punch, threw the spear a little farther, while pressing the girl's back neck, the girl passed out.

And then the magician's hand spreads these vines around him, and he can't help himself, and being wrapped around this magic changing vine doesn't mean the magician's hand keeps pulling these vines. When you can move, the big black wolf over there is awake, but he's smart enough to know that he can't do anything good to attack Claude. He turns his head every time. So this time, I just screamed at Claude and ran to the girl in a coma, with my head against the girl, hoping that she could get up...

Claude suddenly had the feeling of adult bullying of a child. It had been half a day with the big black wolf and this young wizard. Why didn't her family come out of the den? Isn't he home? Or is it inconvenient to move, maybe when you get in there, you want to reckon with yourself?

In the woods until now, it seems that there are only two kinds of spells that I have encountered. One is the poisonous cigarette trap apparatus, the other is the vine entanglement technique given by this young girl magician. There are no other spells that surprise me except to drive the big black wolf. For a wild magician, it seems a little too simple. At least seven basic spells should always be there. Is it possible that other spells, like yourself, are used for experimentation and research, not combat spells?

Claude walked down to the shabby shack under the oak tree, and just walked to the door, he heard the big black wolf roaring and pounding at himself. You're loyal, but you're a wolf, not a big black dog in a nursing home.

Claude didn't want to give this big black wolf, who was loyal to his family, another "tap” spiritual shock. Maybe he really screwed this big black wolf with idiots. I saw a bundle of hemp rope under the shed, so I couldn't move, and it was another magician's hand. One magician's hand held down the bouncing big black wolf, the other magician's hand copied the hemp rope, and tied the big black wolf to a big five flowers. After the tie, the big black wolf could only make a “whoop” howl.

Listening to the side ears, there was no movement in the den, not even breathing. It appears that the young wizard's family is not inside. Slightly pushed open the dilapidated wooden door of the den and placed a bead of light, with only six or seven square areas, at a glance.

A bed of firewood, which is mostly rabbit squirrels, can be seen in the beds because these dead branches of wood are covered with a patchwork of fur. There's also a haystack next to it, which should belong to the big black wolf. There is also a three-legged broken table with a wooden stick tied to the missing foot.

The colors all faded off, leaving the wooden table with the basket that the village elder's wife sent to the woods last night. Next to it are the mulch and pestle for the antidote, two pots, a wooden shelf nailed to the wooden wall above the table and five or six tiny cans on the shelf, just like yesterday's canister containing honey and ointment.

Next to the table is a small black iron fire basin with a large mouthful of unspoilt wood that burns to half charcoal, probably the only source of heat for winter heating and is not afraid to be smoked to death. But looking at the leaky wooden walls and the thatched roof of the shack, Claude's heart says it's a natural vent, so don't worry about getting smothered inside.

On the other side of that cot there seemed to be a small room, and Claude looked over, just a small compartment with a barrel in it, which smelled like a convenient place for the evening. Turning around, Claude was frightened by a man's head hanging on the wooden wall. After a closer look, it was an old ugly leather mask with a few strands of long white hair on it...

Obviously, this young wizard does not have any family, and the layout in the den shows that she lives here alone and with a big black wolf. Her life was very difficult and no wonder she was willing to exchange ointment and honey for food with the villagers of Squirrel Village.

Claude came out of the den, and the young wizard had woken up from a coma, and she looked alert as Claude approached, sitting restless on the floor, backing away.

“Do you live here alone?” Claude revealed a smile he thought was kind and asked.

The young girl did not bite, stared hostilely at Claude and slowly moved back.

There was no way to communicate, Claude got up, took all the food out of his backpack and put it on the floor before he went back to the den. There's a tarp in there for the floor, Claude. Think about it and put it on the floor.

“Take it and I'll come and see you in the future...” Claude walks out of the woods.
