Chapter 324: One Year and Three Months
’His Maxima is stronger than mine?!’
Kennedy’s eyes bulged with shock.
’Godspeed!’
Fang Raon flashed forward, running past Kennedy with ease, leaving him stunned on the spot.
Then, he reeled back his fist and punched another one of the Bastard Men.
But at that moment, a spear whizzed through the air and penetrated through his left-sided waist until it went straight through.
"Cough!"
Fang Raon coughed out blood and looked at who had just stabbed him, and it was the incredibly handsome-looking man, Ilya.
"We’re the former 7th-ranked guild of the tower, you fool. You think you can just kill us and get away with it?"
Ilya asked coldly.
"Haha... I’ve no intention to survive."
Fang Raon said with a smile, and then he grabbed the spear and wrapped his Maxima-covered fingers around it.
He gave the spear a tight squeeze.
It was almost like he was trying to break it!
Crack... a slight crack appeared in the spear’s shaft!
"Damn!"
Ilya tried pulling it back, but he couldn’t rip it out of Raon’s grip, no matter how hard he tried.
Out of nowhere, Kennedy appeared behind Raon and immediately put him under a sleeper hold.
The sleeper hold was so tight that Raon lost all of his capability to inhale air, and any normal person would be out cold within seconds.
"Heh..."
Yet, Raon just grinned despite him growing slightly blue.
"Brother!"
Anna screamed and wanted to go help him, but Raon immediately shot a gaze at her, as if he were saying, "Don’t you dare."
It made her immediately stop as she had never seen such a gaze by her brother before, and she instinctively listened.
Fang Raon opened his right hand, and a purple grimoire appeared from the empty air on top of his hand.
It immediately flipped to the 13th page.
’He was a Mage?!’
Kennedy was shocked.
He thought that Raon might’ve been Brawler-typed Warrior because Raikou had mentioned that his brother, Raon, was Warrior class.
It meant that this must be his second account!
Flames gushed out of the grimoire, engulfing Raon with its fiery embrace, and Kennedy immediately had to back off or he would’ve gotten seriously burned.
[You have broken the rules of the Safe Zone!]
[You will be banned!]

[4...]
’...’
Fang Raon quickly pointed his hand forward, but he didn’t point it towards Ilya but towards the table of the Bastard Men.
"Magic Missile!"
A powerful blast of magic shot out of his hand, but it wasn’t ordinary Magic Missile.
Magic Missile was a rather basic Mage skill, and thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of Mages have this skill.
It was easy to use and had decent firepower, but against powerful players like Bastard Men, it wouldn’t have any effect.
However.
Fang Raon covered the Magic Missile with his essence of Maxima, making it five to ten times stronger than previously!
The magic missile launched towards an unsuspecting member of the Bastard Men, and before he could do anything, it struck him down with incredible force.
Again.
Another Bastard Men down.
"This is not all I got, trust me."
Fang Raon said coldly.
[0]
At that moment, he suddenly poofed out of existence, leaving the others in shock and confusion.
"...He must’ve been banned..."
"...What a crazy guy."
The members of the Anna’s Angels whispered among themselves.
"That bastard!"
Kennedy angrily shouted.
"That bastard is the future head of the Fang Guild, so mind your tongue, idiot."
At that moment, Raizen said coldly, and Kennedy, who was just now angry, suddenly felt a shiver run down his back.
Raizen’s aura threatened to strike him down, and Kennedy’s whole being was screaming for him to apologize and back down immediately.
"For those who don’t know, that was Fang Raon, my younger brother and the future heir of the Fang Family. Therefore, he will be the next Aizen, and one day, he will be in charge of us all.
"And you fools have just made him angry."
Raizen said coldly.
Disbelief crept throughout the hall, as this was their first time seeing Fang Raon, and they had only heard a few things about him.
They, of course, remembered the several announcements about Fang Raon, which was about the 2nd floor secret quest.
However, since he was just the third son, they thought he wouldn’t amount to much, especially against such talented siblings.
Yet.
He was actually chosen to be the heir!
They could only wonder how monstrously talented a guy he must be for Aizen to choose him instead of any of his other children.
"We’re supposed to be a guild, not enemies. I won’t stand any more bullying from you or anyone else in this guild.
"If I see you Bastard Men misbehaving anymore, I will bring you down myself."
Raizen said coldly.
The previously arrogant Bastard Men quieted down, and they didn’t dare to make eye contact with Raizen.
"Tch."
Raikou crossed his arms angrily, rage boiling inside him, as he felt humiliated by his younger brother Raon!
’How dare he kill my guild members? That bastard thinks he is hot shit, huh. I’ll fucking show him...’
Raikou thought.
"..."
Raizen glanced at Raikou and just rolled his eyes, because of his anger, Raikou completely forgot to mask his thoughts.
It was easy for him to Read his thoughts and know that Raikou was trying to do something stupid again.
’I’ll let him try. From that fight just now, Raon is growing at an astronomical pace. He has already learned Read, Maxima, and Godspeed from what I could see.
’He hasn’t mastered them yet, of course, and hasn’t learned Skydance and Reach yet, but he is still in the middle of his training.
’After his training, perhaps Raikou won’t stand a chance against him.’
Raizen thought.
’Brother...’
Anna thought as she looked at the empty spot where her brother, Raon, was just a few seconds ago.
She understood why he was doing this.
It was his farewell.
He didn’t care whether he would’ve died or get banned because he wasn’t planning to use that account ever again.
From now on, he was just going to play on his first account.
"Thanks..."
She whispered.
...
A light chandelier dangled above, chained to the ceiling. It was intricately designed, casting a soft glow on the elegant room.
Under the chandelier, sitting on the soft-looking bed, Fang Raon looked at the game card in his hand.
It was the game card of his second account.
"If I die on my first account, I still have a backup account, but for now, it’s time to put this on the shelf to dust."
He stood up, walked to his wardrobe, and hid the game card in a small wooden box and placed it on the top shelf, out of sight.
Behind a few clothing items and a stack of books.
Buzz~! Buzz~!
In that moment, his phone went off as he received messages, and he quickly checked them out.
It was just messages from Chaewon and Della. They were talking with each other. They were in the same group chat.
Just three of them.
’It does suck not being able to see them.’
Fang Raon thought.
Even though his time in the Megaworld wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine, he honestly kind of missed that place.
If he moved back there, he could now afford a better apartment on higher floors.
’Will I really be stuck here forever? Stuck being something that I don’t want?’
Fang Raon walked to the window, gazing out to the yard, where the guards of the estate were sweeping the fallen leaves.
"Ugh..."
He suddenly felt an itch on his eyes and quickly rubbed them, and once he opened his eyes again, he was able to see a reflection from the window.
His eyes were turning red again.
Fang Raon quickly calmed himself down before he scorched yet another place with his Heat Gaze.
’When I become stressed, it becomes increasingly more difficult to control Heat Gaze. It’s kind of annoying, honestly.
’I still have no idea why I can use Heat Gaze in the real world. I am too afraid to go talk to some doctors about what’s wrong with me.
’I have still yet to learn anything about this Virtual Reality Pod or about the so-called admirer of mine who gifted it to me.
’So many questions, and yet, I have found zero answers so far.’
Fang Raon crossed his arms behind his back.
There was only one place where he might get answers from—Black Online Company—as this device must’ve been created by them.
’One day I will find the answers.’
Fang Raon thought with a serious look in his eyes.
...
The summer came and went. The fall, with its falling leaves, arrived and left. The winter, colder than previous years, settled in over the village and breezed past.
Spring was short and quickly followed by the scorching heat of summer. It was long and humid, but eventually, it also ended.
Fall came around again.
One year and three months had passed.
