Chapter 330: Silent Tears

"If you don’t stand down right now, I will make sure that you guys will regret it once I am the head of the family."

Fang Raon said coldly.

Despite his threats, the bodyguards looked unfazed, even slightly amused.

"Threats don’t work on them. Once I kick the bucket, they will all retire and live a life of luxury off the money I’ve given them as a reward for keeping me safe all these years.

"They won’t work under you."

Aizen said.

"...Well then."

Fang Raon sighed.

He really didn’t want to do this, but he had no choice, as he now had to reveal some of the secrets that he didn’t want anyone to know.

"Let’s go, young master."

A bodyguard said, and grabbed him by the sleeve of his shirt.

"No."

Fang Raon pulled his fist and punched the bodyguard straight in the abdomen, sending him back.

The bodyguard slid across the ground, but he tanked it, with no visible discomfort in any of his facial expressions.

"Strong punch, young master."

The bodyguard said casually.

"If you thought that was strong, you’re weaker than I thought!"

Fang Raon lunged forward and, this time around, punched from below so hard that his fist collided with the bodyguard’s chin.

The bodyguard’s eyes shook for a moment, and he dropped onto his knees with everything spinning around him.

He was almost knocked out cold!

"..."

The other bodyguards were surprised that their young master actually managed to make one of them kneel.

They didn’t expect him to be so strong as he spent all day just playing that video game of his, so they couldn’t understand where this strength of his came from.

"Not bad, young master..."

The kneeling bodyguard stood back up, wiped the punch mark off his chin, and then swung his own fist.

It came quick and made contact with Raon’s left cheek and pushed his head back, but he didn’t fall.

Instead.

Fang Raon turned his head back around, cold-looking eyes, and punched straight at the bodyguard’s chest.

This time around, the bodyguard put his right arm’s forearm in the way and blocked the punch, but he could still feel the sting.

"We don’t have to do this, young master. Just come with us. Otherwise, you’re forcing my hand to do something I don’t want to do."

The bodyguard said coldly.

Fang Raon narrowed his eyes.

In that moment, they heard footsteps—they all turned to look—a white-sleeved butler was walking over.

"What’s going on in here?"

Sebastian asked.

"Stay out of this, Sebastian. By the orders of the master, we’re taking the young master to the basement prison."

One of the bodyguards said.

With a frown, Sebastian entered the study and looked at the pale-faced Aizen, who seemed like he was ill.

"Master, what are you doing? Ganging up on your son like this?"

"This is none of your business, Sebastian."

Aizen said coldly.

"He is my future boss, Master. So, yes, this is my business."

Sebastian said coldly.

"And I am your current boss, so stand the fuck down, Sebastian. I don’t mind firing you on the spot."

Aizen said coldly.

"..."

Sebastian looked at him with no fear whatsoever.

It was like he didn’t care if he got fired!

"It’s alright, Sebastian. I’ll be handling this by myself."

At that moment, Fang Raon said.

"...You sure?"

Sebastian asked.

To him, it looked like Fang Raon didn’t stand a chance because he knew the strength of these bodyguards.

Even he, one of the strongest beings in the world, would have a great amount of difficulty defeating all of them.

"I’ll be fine."

Fang Raon said coldly, and the bodyguard lifted his eyebrow, as he thought that their young master was just acting tough.

"Let’s take this outside."

Fang Raon said, and suddenly he punched with speed and strength that was far above what he had shown so far.

The punch landed in the chest of the bodyguard—before he could even react—and the punch sent him flying.

He flew through the walls of the building, crashing through them as if they were paper, and appeared in the air above the courtyard.

Swoosh~!

Fang Raon used Godspeed, jumped after him, and appeared above the flying bodyguard in the air.

"Sit down!"

He punched the bodyguard squarely in the face and sent him flying into the ground, and the ground shook violently upon impact.

Swoosh~! Swoosh~! Swoosh~!

The bodyguards appeared all around the courtyard and looked at their comrade, who climbed out of the broken ground.

Surprisingly, the bodyguard’s lip was bleeding.

It wasn’t every day that these bodyguards were bleeding, as they had been training their bodies to be as strong as steel.

’The young master is strong!’

Sebastian thought as he watched from the broken wall.

"..."

Aizen grabbed his walking stick, walked to the window, and looked at the scene below with mixed feelings.

"Cough..."

He covered his mouth quickly, but when he pulled his hand back, he noticed that there was blood on it again.

"..."

Aizen closed his eyes with a deep sigh, and as he opened his eyes again, he looked directly at his son.

"Don’t think badly of us for doing this, young master, but we need to do our duty as long as our master is alive."

One of the bodyguards said, and then they all surrounded Raon as he stood in the middle of the courtyard.

They didn’t need weapons. Their fists were registered as lethal weapons. It was enough to kill a person.

Swoosh~!

In that moment, the bodyguards jumped forward like gazelles. Fists fired up. It was a blur of movement as they attacked with precision and power.

They didn’t plan to kill Raon.

Just incapacitate him.

Fang Raon moved a few steps. Strange footwork. It looked like he was doing a dance or something.

The fists came. They grazed past him. He kept moving.

It didn’t matter how much the bodyguards attacked. None of their attacks landed. It was like they were trying to hit a ghost.

"Celestial Fist Body!"

The strongest of the bodyguards appeared in front of Raon and threw about a thousand punches in an instant.

Yet.

Fang Raon weaved through his attacks without breaking a sweat, and it even looked like the punches were too slow for him!

"...Who trained him?"

Sebastian asked.

He was the person that trained all the bodyguards by the request of Aizen, so for Raon to get this strong, it was easy to determine that it was him who trained him.

However.

It definitely wasn’t him!

"I thought it was you."

Aizen said.

’Nobody knows? From what I know, he is always playing that game of his. Did he get this strong by playing that game? There is no way. This isn’t just skill. His physical stats are way too high.’

Sebastian thought.

He had a good eye and could see the "physical stats" of everyone, and the bodyguards were definitely top-tier humans.

Yet.

Fang Raon was a strange case. It was hard to get a reading on him. His body definitely looked better.

It was a well-defined athletic body, but his physical stats were still a mystery to him.

’Perhaps his physical stats are too high for me to get a read on.’

Sebastian thought.

If that was the case, it would truly be shocking to him, as he had never met someone with physical stats of that high.

Raon’s punch flew through the air and hit one of the bodyguards in the face and sent him flying backwards, crashing into the wall behind him.

The bodyguards suddenly surrounded him, all of them punching at the exact same time, making sure that it was impossible to dodge this time around.

It was like a bullet shower was heading towards him.

Fang Raon kicked at the ground and jumped high into the air with the help of Skydance while the bodyguards delivered their punches.

He turned his gaze back down and reeled back his punches.

"Reach + Maxima!"

Fang Raon screamed and punched repeatedly in the air in front of him, but he was nowhere near the bodyguards.

A layman would immediately think that was a foolish thing to do, as his punches were nowhere close to hitting the bodyguards.

But then...

Boom~! Boom~! Boom~!

The air exploded as invisible air cannons fired from his fists, and the bodyguards were sent flying in all directions.

Fang Raon landed back on the ground and saw the bodyguards standing back up with slightly battered bodies.

"Huff... huff... huff..."

They were feeling the exhaustion of the fight, but none of them were even close to giving up just yet.

’I guess I really have no choice...’

Fang Raon thought, and as the bodyguards again attacked him all at once, his eyes started to smoke again.

’Carefully...’

Raon took a deep breath, and as he opened his eyes, his eyes were crimson red like they were on fire.

Swoosh~! From his eyes, a beam of concentrated fire shot out and hit one of the bodyguards squarely in the chest.

The bodyguard, with a burning chest, was sent flying backwards through the wall of the newly constructed dojo.

"What the..."

The bodyguards all were shocked.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Fang Raon screamed as the fire kept shooting out of his eyes, and then he started spinning with the beam of fire.

The beam of fire engulfed the entire courtyard in fire, and the bodyguards were struck by the fire, and were sent flying across the courtyard.

"What the hell is that?!"

Sebastian cried out.

"Cough... cough... COUGH!"

At that moment, Aizen fell on his knees, and he started coughing uncontrollably with more and more blood gushing out of his mouth with every cough.

"M-Master?"

Sebastian whispered, his voice laced with concern, and then watched as Aizen gasped an empty breath and suddenly fell backwards onto the ground, motionless.

"Master!"

He quickly rushed to his side and saw Aizen’s lifeless eyes staring blankly up at the sky.

The eyes were empty and unseeing, devoid of the usual intelligence and cunning that Sebastian had grown accustomed to.

"...Father?"

Fang Raon walked over after hearing Sebastian shout, and his eyes fell on Aizen’s body, which wasn’t moving.

"...Young master, he is dead."

Sebastian bowed his head in silence.

Fang Raon’s eyes shook in a shock, and without his control, few tear drops appeared in the corners of his eyes.

He knelt beside his father’s body, took it into his arms, and cried silently against his chest.
