Black Summoner

Episode 41: The Journey

- Ragged.

I glance at the book I brought over, listening to the wheel sound of the carriage. Next door, Effil sits down a bit, trying hard to read the letters.

"Sir, wouldn't it make you sick to read a book in a carriage?

"You're used to traveling. It's nothing like a carriage vibration."

"Well, an adventurer is a boulder."

Your man speaks up, but neither me nor Effil get so much carriage sickness as they read letters. It moves even harder during battle.

"Master, what is this place?

"That's an application of the way I read it earlier."

We are now on a carriage from Pards to Trage, Water Country. Why Trage, because I'm fiercely hungry for rice. Those who have never left Japan in modern times may not know, but eating only overseas dishes for a long time makes them want to eat white rice at the border one day. I've been reincarnated into this world for months, and my limits are close. Since before, I wanted to go out once for a trage that supposedly had rice-like food. The permission of the guild leader, Rio, went down so fast that he extended his leg to the Trage during the period.

To avoid wasting travel time, I'm teaching Effil letters now. Although he has grown extensively in battle and life, he is also studying such academic aspects as reading and writing.

"Kelvin! The river, the river is flowing!

"You want to fish, too?

"What's fishing?

"... shall we try it when we get to Trage"

Get your face out of the carriage carriage carriage. Serra enjoys the view. Whatever you see from earlier, it's a big mess.

Apart from the search for rice, there is one more reason to head to Trage. I made a promise to Victor to show Selah the world. This unworldly boxed lady doesn't even know how to fish and enjoys this landscape of nothing. There will be much to learn and feel on this journey.

"Serra's fine."

Gerard didn't seem to like traveling in the carriage, and he went back to my magic when Pars left. Apparently, when it materializes, it strains your lower back. If the inside of the armor is a state of spirit, it's fine, but now it seems like it's been a long time since I've indulged in life.

"Put it that way, Kelvin. I was just wondering."

"What?"

As the carriage enters the tree-grown trail, Serra looks back here.

"There's a bunch of guys watching us hiding out there, right?

"Oh, don't be there."

"Hey, what is it, sir? Don't be surprised..."

He's laughing, but he's also responding to my signs. Twelve people were dotted on the map to take some distance and surround the carriage. Some of them use advanced cover-up skills.

"I'm not lying. I can't concentrate anymore!

Selah has acquired more sensory skills than I do. Daimyo, I guess Gustav the pro fool made him wear it as a protection.

"Are you a bandit?!?

"What do you think? There are rumors of bandits appearing around here."

"Husband, are you reading in this situation... your maid is a big occasional..."

It's not even the level that bandits are now afraid of when they come out. Strongly speaking, is it the problem that the sense of crisis has diminished? Me and Effil are getting a little concerned about resuming our studies, just like Serra.

"Hey, Kelvin."

He said, "Okay. Look, it's moving."

Six people wrapping a black exterior from the side of the street show up in front of the carriage. The other six remain hidden, holding back behind. They're not gonna let us get away with this.

"Carriage there, stop!

It is surprisingly the voice of a woman who is heard; each of the six hands holds a weapon.

"Hehe, sister, you have two superb upperballs!

"Which... ho, this is going to sell for a high price. My head looks delighted."

The woman and her child-like man seem to have our, no, Effil and Selah's code. It was the same with the Prince of the Example, but it's this pattern again.

"Oh, you guys, who are you!? You're a wretch to know it's a carriage for adventurers!

Though his voice cried absurdly, five of his children laughed with their bellies.

"Ha! An adventurer? I know. You guys are from Pars, right? From that weakest adventurer guild, with only the best C-level adventurers!

"We cry and we shut up," Black Wind, "right? Like a C-class adventurer, you're scared."

You seem to mistake us for being less than C-class adventurers. Are you confident that you can beat at least three C-level adventurers? Still, it looks like you've been eye-catching this carriage since pretty early.

"Even the black wind!? Wasn't the bandits destroyed by the hands of adventurers......!?

You know, your grandma.

"Sir, please be careful. Blackwind became famous a year ago in the bandits. I hear even C-class adventurers have a lot of soldiers they can't handle. But once upon a time, I remember being crusaded by a class A adventurer's party..."

"... you stink of kina"

"What is it?

"No, never mind. More than that, we have to break the current situation."

Well, I saw the status of the six with the appraisal eye. I don't know what to do.

"Fuck, they're shivering when they hear our names, right?

"Sister, let us have some fun before we sell."

"You guys, it's time for a chat. If you want a reward, you show it in action."

A woman who seems to be a leader reprimands her children for having the same kind of conversation.

"You don't have any luck with us being targeted by the black wind. If you give me the edge of the adventurer, I won't get stuck without a little resistance, will I? Come on, you guys, take the load! Capture the woman! Don't kill a man!

Five kids ran out of the front. The six in the rear still don't move in hiding.

"Serra, I don't think it's enough, but can you deal with those guys?

"Fine, but can I kill you?

"I don't know if I have a prize because my body says it's worldly devastated... but I also want information. For once, let that woman live and capture me."

"Copy that. It's been a long fight, my arms are ringing!

Serra punches the black gold demon (Alondite) on both arms against each other and gets in the mood with a creepy metal noise. but let's put in a little wait here.

"The use of black gold demons (Alondite) is forbidden. Do it with bare hands."

"Yes!? Why!?

"Even there's a difference in strength. If you use it against people like that, you'll be pretty eggy..."

"Um, okay."

Serra is dissatisfied with her frustrated nose. I know how painful it is to want to try gear quickly.

"Ha, I'm unmotivated, but I can't help it, so I'll deal with you."

Serra jumps forward from the carriage carriage carriage and tells her off as she pleases.

"Oh? You want to fight us alone?!?

"Hi-ha! Hey, let's do something good!"

The bandits target the beauty who appeared in front of them and compete with the handles first. I don't think we had teamwork or anything.

"I refuse."

Body blow was rolled out of Serra, who approached the bandit's nostalgia during the blink. The person you ate was a bandit who had spoken a vile word earlier. The fist is deeply reduced to the body, sounding vacillated and destructive. That's enough to easily imagine that it's destroying the interior of the human body. The bandit floated straight into space and flew up to a few meters away. Oh, I fell out of my head.

"Oh? I've been considerably relieved, but still couldn't do this?

"Not instant death."

Was there a power difference so far? The bandits are not following Serra's movements at all. It's so suspicious that I might be chasing him with my eyes.

"Huh?"

Bandits who can't swallow the situation and are flashy. Serra's disgruntled face is clear as a lie.

"What's going on? You looked like you were having fun earlier. Let's play with me. Uh... Is that the Breeze Bandits?

Oh, it's dos. This girl.

Six of you, too.

Serra glances lightly at the hidden bandit. I don't even seem to have to tell you where it is.

"Master, isn't this grammar different?

"Oh, I was wrong"

Let's just say I work with Effil to study.
