Black Summoner

Episode 67: Charming Cuisine

This is the cooking area of Trage Castle. While the knives were resting in their training in the dungeon, with Master Tsubaki's permission, me and Effil are in and out of here when they find time. One of the purposes is to make Effil learn how to cook Trage, and then to measure interaction with Master Tsubaki.

"Nevertheless, Effil's dishes are truly delicious. The head chef of our castle is now on the professor's side. Kelvin, why don't you serve Effil as your concubine? Yes, all your lords should serve Trage! That strength that defeated the Evil Dragon, I want it to be used under my concubine!

"You've said no many times, Master Tsubaki. Effil is a valued associate of mine. I thought I said I loved freedom when I first met you."

At first, I was only here to learn how to cook, but within a few visits, Tsubaki-san was interested in Effil's cooking. Probably because I behaved like a castle soldier and the ladies who could cook. Effil's cuisine, which has now grown to possess S-level cooking skills, far surpasses that of the head chef at Trage Castle. Recently, the flavor can be added or subtracted, but until then, tears overflowed with deliciousness. Master Tsubaki must have heard about such transcendental cuisine somewhere. When he came to the cooking place the day after he behaved, he began to solicit Effil. Apparently, the Japanese mind for gastronomy has been taken over by this country as well.

By the way, Effil is admirably coaching people in the cooking area. This time to learn how to cook is now time for Effil to instruct the cooks. I know some people, if normal, defy, but Effil's poor appearance and courteous teaching attitude, as well as his overwhelming culinary skills, seem to have made everyone eagle at his heart. Some of them have slightly dyed their cheeks. I'm just a fan at the earliest.

"Hmm, still no good. No, I didn't know it was impossible. I'm so sorry..."

"Don't look like that. I'll be here every day while we're here."

"Is that true!? That's not a promise!

"Yes, it's a promise"

When I saw him, he was like Tsubaki, who had a nasty atmosphere, but we got along perfectly well after talking a few times. Seems to distinguish between executive time and private on-off, which feels like a year-to-year girl or something. It is now usually a sense of friendship. Before "may be called out. You don't even have to be afraid," he once told me, "but the boulders kept me from doing that. I can tell you how close I've gotten, there are other eyes. It may have been tried again, but a minimum of courtesy due to differences of position is necessary for everything. I still have a lot of it.

"That said, it's time to get back to Pards, isn't it?"

"What a... brave man, your lord is abrupt."

"I can't stay away for too long. These days, dangerous monsters have appeared in the Pars area."

I'm more alert, but I still belong to the Pars Adventurer Guild only up to C-level Adventurers at best. I don't know how much Rio ink you've gone away with, but there's Ange, Claire, Wold, and all the adventurers in that city. I haven't heard from Melfina since, and I can't help but wonder if it's time to go back.

"Pards, as the name suggests for the quiet city, is the symbol of peace in the four countries. I'd be comfortable if Kelvin and the others protected me.... a little wasted."

"I will do my best to comply with Master Tsubaki's wishes."

"Uhm. Knock on the gate of Trage whenever you change your mind"

I don't feel like it at the moment, but it's a harvest to have been so close to a king of a country. Master Tsubaki, in his position, has little opportunity to talk to his generation. I want to keep going with you as a good friend.

"Dear Tsubaki, I've made a prototype Japanese sweet, can you give me your feedback?

"What, that's Effil's new treat!? Eat, eat! Never!

"Master Tsubaki, this is before the minister for once..."

But this king, private, is too lax.

"I'm home."

"I'm back now"

Finish greeting Master Tsubaki and return to the accommodation you are staying in. Gerard still seems absent, but Serra was already back in her room.

"Oh, welcome back. Were you still at the castle today?

"Oh. What was Selah doing?

"I was doing everything I could to fish! As I was told, I've been catching and releasing what I don't need."

"Oh well..."

As promised the other day, I taught Serra fishing in between hours, but she still showed some weird talent here. Know where your prey is instantly because of your perceptive skills. The induction by precise rod judgment and the strength not to be conceived from its thin arms allowed it to show off its variable ease and power of fishing. Besides, I didn't get my fishing skills. Now he has become famous in the trage as a mysterious beauty fisherman.

"Today's opponent was pretty tough. Could it have been about three meters?

That's a chromatic level, isn't it? What are you fishing for on a commercial fishing pole, you?

"Ha... that's good. I wanted to see it too."

"Don't worry, I brought it back properly as the main part of today's dinner!

You judged that as what you needed...

"... who's going to tell you that?

"Mo, Effil did. I keep it in the kitchen."

It would be annoying to have a room with that size in the kitchen. Even Effil can't dismantle tuna levels on boulders...

"I've seen it. It's good to boil it in sashimi and beat it. I'm coming now. Sir, do you need anything?

"Oh, yeah. You can count on Effil."

"I understand. Put more on your arms."

Apparently, he also mastered the way I slept without my knowledge. Chef of Trage Castle, did you even teach him that?

"King, what are you doing in the kitchen!? You're a new monster!?

Gerard is back, too. And have you seen it?

"Excuse me. It's a fish I've been fishing for. Sounds like something fancy in the alley."

"Ho, is that true?

"Yes, it's a fine fish called Gloma living in the Dragon Sea. It's cooked and worth it."

"It's okay. Probably because it's delicious."

I'm not going into anything anymore. Let's just get in touch.

"Oh, yeah. I'll get back to you when they're all assembled. I think I'll be back in Pars in three days. Get ready to go home."
