Black Summoner

Episode 83: The Trysen Army

- Trysen Castle.

At the eastern end of the eastern continent, the military Trisen exists on a land that is never rich. Most of the national territory, with the exception of the capital, is covered in desert and food supplies are scarce year after year. In addition, the temper is very aggressive and exclusive because there is a history of mercenary groups gathering to form a country as a mercenary state. In the war era, we used a large number of slaves to exploit the invasion in order to secure supplies. Now there is no peace and no dispute over taboo, but it can be said that we are less connected than the other three countries.

The Trisen was now in a state of distress. Three countries, including the water country Trage, Delamis and Gown, have been arguing about a black wind. A row of adventurers Christophe, whose Christophe was unjustly kidnapping women and children as the head of the black wind and capturing them as slaves, is rescued by the brave. A magic item with the testimony of the brave is presented, and Christophers and the others have even confessed that it was their plan to send the captured people to Trisen. At the earliest possible moment, there was no escape.

This is the round table meeting room at Trysen Castle. It is a place where only royalty, limited nobility, and the highest ranking members of the military may enter, where discussions are held mainly on the top secret of the country. In the centre of the room was placed a round table made of luxurious wooden decorations, headed by Zell Trissen, king of Trissen, to which the generals of each legion had been summoned.

Zell slowly opens his mouth in the heavy air of sin and tranquility.

"Everybody, I'm sorry for the rush."

"Dad, Clive's bastard isn't here yet."

Against the king of Trysen, this man, who calls himself Father, is Azglad Trysen. He is the general of the "Dragon Cavalry Regiment" and the first prince of Tricen. He is never in this position in the Seven Lights, but at the apex of the fierce men of the army with their rare talents. There are five princes present in Trissen, but he is the only one in the general position who is at the head of the army. That's because bloodline alone cannot stand on top in the meritocracy, Trisen, whose first example is Kelvin knocking over Tabla, but he can say the exact opposite. The forged flesh doesn't have to be compared to those warlords there, and the dragon's riding ability is out of range.

"Well, you're bringing a woman into the room anyway. That's how powerful I am, so I'm gonna throw up."

Azglad tongues as he glances at the only empty seat provided on the round table.

"... I don't have time. Let's say we start. As we all know already, Christoph was captured by the brave men of Delamis. Since the implementation of the plan, and at this stage, which has not yet passed,"

Using the bandits "Black Wind," a crowd-catching plan aimed at securing slavery. It was good until I went out of my way to celebrate the adventurer who crusaded the black wind at the time and led the brainwashed remnants. I plotted carefully and recently started my activities, but this was the result.

"Sure, the proponents of this plan were... Tristan"

Zell's sharp eyes are pointed. The person at the end of that gaze was Tristan Phase. He is the General of the Mixed Warcraft Regiment, out of the prestigious nobility of which Tricen is proud. It is named the Warcraft Regiment, but its fruits, besides the monsters it has taught, also include slaves of beasts and other subhuman beings. Similar to the country's constitution, Tristan, a man of supremacy, proposed this plan to Zell using the black wind, and sought to strengthen the army he could follow.

"No, I expected them to... do you mean to this extent, savage adventurer"

Tristan poses as a jerk.

"Tristan, I don't care what your Lord thinks or explains. What the King is trying to say is how he intends to take responsibility for this failure. This matter led to the shadow of our country becoming taboo. The other three countries are already starting to form alliances, right?

The name of the old knight who bit Tristan is Dan Dalba. He has been a warrior of hundreds of wars and refinements serving Trisen for many years. He now serves as a general of the "Knights of Steel", which brings together heavily loaded and manoeuvrable cavalry with hardened guards in steel armor and, furthermore, siege weapons and various types of soldiers. It was also Dan who gave Azglad his martial arts, and his trust is thick.

"Don't get so hot, General Dan. Your life expectancy will shrink, won't it?

"... what?

Dan stands up and gives Tristan a glance. This is the only pressure on the fainting thing if you are an ordinary person, but Tristan at the time looks to Dan with half a laugh.

"All right. In front of His Majesty."

What resonates in the room is a beautiful voice that doesn't resemble this occasion.

"But Master Stra..."

"General Dan."

"... I understand"

After a slight silence, Dan takes his seat.

The girl who held Dan's wrath back was named Stra Trissen. She is Zell's only daughter and Tricen's only princess. The figure is beautiful, so much so that the people and soldiers suspected that Stra and Tabla really came from the same mother. He is a general who would only be given that position if he were a man, but Stra unfortunately demonstrated that talent and now he was younger and climbed up to the 'dark' general. Only the appointed Zell can tell if it was consideration for the nobility that led her to take up positions in the darkness, which is shrinking year after year, or whether she found her potential.

"Oh, you're really weak for a princess."

………

Even though Tristan provokes it, Dan seems determined to ignore it. "Oh, my God, it's not jammed," he also leaks sighs from Tristan.

"Leave the joke at that, too. Tristan, roughly as Dan said. Today, our country is in a predicament. I have written Christophe off as a hero, excusing him for having nothing to do with Trisen, but then he won't be cured. If you do poorly, it can be a war against three countries. That's what I'm gonna do. You have to take responsibility."

Clear intent to kill. The weight of speech held only by the king. But even with that, Tristan doesn't move.

"... then let's do it. War."

"What?"

"It has been a long time since we made peace, and our Trysen have come steadily forward in armaments. That's my grandfather's grandfather...... is that my grandfather again? Well, let's leave this behind."

Tristan coughs gently.

"Think about it. What were the other three countries doing when we were sparing no effort to expand? I thought you were just singing peace! Where such weak nations have come together, they are not the enemies of our Trissen. Is now not the time to form a continental unity that has been an ideal for many years? Here's one, let's make up our minds with the 'General Vote'!

"Indeed, the unity of the continent is our great purpose."

"Oh, can Master Stra agree?

"But that's not now. The three countries have not escaped as much as the general said. If we act, we'll be generations ahead of us."

In Stra's words, Tristan cleverly poses with delight and concern.

"I'm sad to hear you disagree with the popular Master Stra from the people. Is that dark information?

"Well, what do you think?"

"... I'm in favor of war"

"... brother!?

It was Azglad who voted in favour. Was it a heartfelt surprise, Stra, who had been sober until earlier, startles me.

"I've had a few skirmishes with the gown soldiers, but I don't think they're that strong. I rely on Clive, but Trisen's power has risen dramatically since he arrived. Besides, the Dragon Cavalry has an array."

"Ho, you're the one who beat a lot of money to get it. That's two for you and one against you."

"Shit, I didn't expect to bring up the votes here."

Trissen has a system such as a general vote in which a majority is held by five generals and an opinion petition is made to the King. It is the king who ultimately makes the judgment, but its effectiveness is immeasurable, and the king cannot refuse to say goodbye. Because that is the act of scorning the vast majority of generals. Conversely, there is also a risk for the general who proposed the general vote. In the unlikely event that the opinion falls short of the overwhelming majority in favor, there is a punishment that will change the sin with the addition or subtraction of one king. Punishment may be light, but in some cases there have been instances where it was a capital offense. The only thing on this agenda will be the punishment from the king. It was a floating Tristan on the surface, but in fact it was on a life-threatening bet.

"I naturally disagree! I'm just kidding!

"That's a shame. So now we have an equal number of votes... General Clive will stay, but you weren't here."

Face Clive's seat, where everyone is vacant.

"Kuhaha, Tristan, you're bold, not according to what you look like. Fine. Why don't I take your life and admit this general's vote? There's someone! Get Clive!

The king of Trissen distorted his mouth delightfully.
