Next up is the practical exam. It's a mock fight against A-rank Adventurers in a training field in the Alliance. Weapon uses magic tools (magic items) dedicated to simulated warfare. This is a weapon that is not unlike a normal weapon, but does not damage if it hits the target. Your husband and Senior Mio used to say things like Rizan and Pikohan, but I don't know what you mean...

For the record, what Knott was saying was a weapon to be used in field training after this, not a weapon dedicated to mock warfare. It has been established from the outset that we will use weapons that we are unfamiliar with here.

There seemed to be many different types of weapons in themselves, and I decided to choose the weapon as close as possible to what I always use. In my case, it's a one-handed sword and a small shield. I tried to shake it lightly, but it's not that uncomfortable. Yeah, I think I can fight this without a problem.

Another A-rank adventurer would be dealing with each of the eight, splitting into three groups and heading to a different training ground. Lolo and Yulia are here with me. [M]

"I'm Claude's opponent."

"Mr. Kuga was the opponent...... Best regards,"

"Whoa, nice to meet you. I know it's not a matter of strength to say that. If you stay alert, you're gonna lose, so I'm gonna let you go for real, okay?

Mr. Kuga is a familiar A-rank adventurer who has been jointly requested before. Among the youngsters, it is said to be promising stock, a strong man who would eventually be S-ranked.

He's a big, disappointing, muscled man about 2m. Anyway, when I say awesome adventurer, I can tell by the way I look.

"No, you can't defeat Mr. Kuga yet."

"... I'm terrified to easily say," Not yet. "

'Cause I'm not gonna tell you you can't win for life.

"That's right. If the guy who said that was here, he'd beat the crap out of me. But you can't lose to a boulder like this."

That's what I say, Mr. Kuga, who sets up the Great Sword. I knew there was no gap. That said, all I can do is attack from the front. If there's no gap, you just have to make it.

"I'm going!

I kick the ground and cut towards Mr. Kuga. Mr. Kuga's weapon is a big sword with more than 2m, so it should be hard to get around small. Try to get one shot in while towing with speed.

"Sweet!"

Mr. Kuga waves his sword before I approach him. The sword speed is too fast to avoid in time. I managed to put a shield out on the sword track.

"Gu!"

Every shield gets blown away. Land a few meters blown up. Ouch. The weapon itself won't hurt you if you hit it, but the impact itself is real.

"Wow!

Mr. Kuga comes running around trying to do the chase, as he deserves. I also take big backsteps to keep my distance. [M]

"If it was enough to form a regular class C, no class B, it would have ended with my first shot right now. I knew you were strong."

"Mr. Kuga is amazing, too. Instead of avoiding it, I put out a shield, so I did my best."

"Naturally. Register your adventurer for" Special First Shot "and your child will cut you off in January or so."

Mr. Kuga's two names are 'Double Break'. As you can see, it's two names attached because they often decide to fight with the highest speed first-strike.

"I'm saying 'Special First Shot', but I'd only be two if I used it to decide the game quickly..."

"I know. That means it's awesome, except for the first shot!

It cuts again. The same way of attacking, but of course that's not all. Mr. Kuga doesn't seem to think he's going into it helplessly either, but he still intercepts it with a high-speed slaughter. I would tell you to go over this first.

Now I'm not going to think about avoiding it and I'm going to take it from the start with a shield. No, it's not right to take it. Show it to me. With the shield on his left hand almost horizontally with the ground, he receives a slash shaken by a horizontal giraffe, so that he circles down as he pushes it up.

"What!?

I get it with a shield, so it's a slaughter that was full of hands, but if you look at it from the start with the intention of taking it with a shield, it's a little better. With my arm strength, I would be much less burdened if even Mr. Kuga's slaughter was flushed away. There will be some gaps shortly after shaking off more slaughter. When I thought so and tried to move on, the chills ran. Roll it to the left. Confirming as I rolled, Mr. Kuga was slashing where I was about to go.

Looks like he's cut right back from a sword-shaven attitude and unleashed a slash in the opposite direction. I know by reason, but what kind of muscle do you have to do that with a great sword? Oh, Senior Serra seems to be able to do it without difficulty. Because that guy's powers are probably more amazing than Mr. Kuga's...

Hey, you don't have time to think about anything extra. Stand up as soon as the rolling momentum has fallen. Mr. Kuga has spoken to us with a sword-shaven attitude.

"No, do you want to do this too? I've been practicing lately and I can do it, but I can't make up my mind with the first disclosure or I don't dress up..."

"What? Now?"

"Oh, it sounds like the swordsmanship used by a retired former S-rank adventurer, but I don't know if it's right because I just reproduced it from the story. They say," I'll get it back. "

With all due respect, Mr. Kuga is enhancing 'Special First Shot'. After all, when you have two names, you match the tactics to that, right?

Mr. Kuga has only released three slashes yet, even if he puts in a return blow. I haven't attacked once yet. Still, you can say that avoiding three shots from Mr. Kuga, who specializes in 'Special First Shots', finally qualifies you to fight Mr. Kuga in the true sense.

"Uh, excuse me. I'm sorry I'm motivated, but this is it. The Alliance Commander's grandfather told me that the mock fight with me would end at that point if I dodged" Special First Strike. "

"Oh, that's my first ear..."

"No, I told him to let me do it to the end, too, but my grandfather said no. Well, I was forced to screw this mock fight, so I couldn't say I couldn't."

"But normally we do mock wars until we settle, right?

"Yeah, because this mock is something that's supposed to be in charge up to mid-A-rank. If I do it at the top of the A-rank, the conditions will ease."

To be honest, Mr. Kuga was about two minutes out of his head compared to the other A-rank exams.

"Apparently, the reason is that if you can prevent the top A-rank skill, it's enough to make it B-rank. Well, the purpose of the rank-up exam is not to test how far your powers go, but only to test if you deserve that rank. Making a mock fight to your satisfaction is out of spirit."

Some parts I'm slightly uncomfortable with, but if it's about saying it was decided, I can't help it.

"But then I wanted you to say it first."

"If I told you, you'd be so focused, wouldn't you? That's not fun, is it? I wish I could have fought a little more, but the guild leader is blinding me..."

"Say what! There's a gray part of the first chase and the last cut back! I'm going to take the S-rank exam again, but I don't know how I'm going to reduce it because I'm bored."

Soon the guild chief had come nearby too. I didn't realize you were in the middle of a fight.

"Well, that's a break. He said he could finally be S-ranked."

"Huh? Mr. Kuga, are you going to be S-ranked?

"Well, I just got the right to the exam yet. You're not far from being S-ranked."

I thought Mr. Kuga's strength would make him an S-rank someday, but that future looks surprisingly close.

Mr. Kuga keeps talking a little shy.

"So..., I'm thinking of confessing to Mr. Lucea again when I get to S-rank, can you get along?

... Mr. Kuga seems to be in love with Dr. Lucea. He said he fell in love with Dr. Lucea for the first time in a fight against his appearance when he received the request with him. I confess on the spot, but sink. But I don't think I've given up yet. Wouldn't it be irrelevant to make it better for us?

That said, as far as Dr. Lucea's attitude towards her husband is concerned, I think there is a 0 chance that he will be able to OK Mr. Kuga's confession.

"Excuse me. I have a heavy load."

"Not again! Who is Mr. Lucea's Lord?

When Mr. Lucea refused to confess, he said, 'You cannot take the confession at will because you are offering everything to the Lord'. You shouldn't even know you're a slave, but when that fact brightens up, it's a momentum that's likely to be challenged even in a duel by betting on Mr. Lucea.

"How long will we be talking irrelevant? Next Rollo, you're holding back, so Kuga needs to get out."

"Chickshaw! Let me turn around one day and show you!

Mr. Kuga is told by the guild chief and dragged by officials while leaving a discarded dialogue behind the training ground. Arr? Nothing. You didn't have a problem staying like this, did you?

Well, the next mock fight is Lolo and the uncle of a stranger A-rank adventurer. Lolo uses the Great Sword, and my uncle has the same style of sword and shield as I do. Looks like it was the same schematic as the game between me and Mr. Kuga without trying.

The game started and it was Lolo who set it up first. Wave the great sword lightly and storm towards your uncle. My uncle tries to prevent it with his shield, but it blows up just like it did when I did. Oh, my uncle's surprised, too.... naturally, right? Because a girl about 10 years old gently waved the Great Sword and blew herself off as an adult.

My blown uncle lands. At that time, Rollo was also running out and unleashed a chase on his uncle. Uncle who once again prevents it with a shield. Naturally, every shield is blown away. Later it was repeated until my uncle failed to prevent it.

We can't prevent Lolo from pursuing him unless he's blown away and dodged right away. But my uncle doesn't seem so good at dodging. Well, I have a shield, so it's natural to settle for the idea that I should take it with a shield, but if you're doing such a long thing to our rolo opponent, you'll see.

My hand must have been paralyzed. Lolo's slaughter struck directly at the stage where his uncle removed his shield. Now Lolo wins. I envy Lolo a little. I was able to fight to the end and win.

"Well, I'm glad we won as planned."

Now that the game is over, Lolo, who came to the same spot as me, says that.

"Lolo is good. Fight to the end..."

"Well, in Lolo's case, it was imperative to win so Jen wouldn't be ashamed to ask...... I think it would be better if it were meant to be a mock fight with Mr. Kuga near S-rank"

"Uh, do you have a way of thinking about saying that..."

It's not about winning. Then maybe you should be able to have a mock fight with an opponent you can't usually fight.

"Well, it sounds like I'm passing for now, and I guess it's good"

"I think that's a good idea. But I'm glad Lolo didn't hit Mr. Kuga. You just won't win...... I almost ruined my ambition to get praises from your husband with top passing"

"I don't have a top or anything."

Mr. Yulia's game started when we were talking about that. The opponent's A-rank adventurer is a somewhat face-to-face man and a spear.

Yulia uses a whip and a dagger, but the original way to fight is with Spiritual Magic. It's a rare pattern of your husband imposing his magic on our slaves.

Yulia has a very good memory of Spirituality and Spiritual Magic. It's like remembering something you forgot...... I can predict from the way your husband said it, but I'm guessing Yulia had something to do with Spiritual Magic in the past.

But now it's one of us, family. Whatever happened in the past doesn't change that. If any hand has been reached from Mr. Julia's past, he's going to protect it with all the Adventurers.

Anyway, the original way she fights is by wizards, but this time she's registered as a warrior. The Wizard's B-rank exam changed slightly and Yulia hated it another day. Yulia is solid in front of everyone, and she's dignified, because she seems surprisingly lonely and doesn't like being alone.

It was Yulia who made the first move. Running out, he punches a whip in his left hand toward the spear man.

The spear man backs down and avoids without taking it. Now I stuck my spear out at Mr. Yulia for all this time. Mr. Yulia distracted it with a dagger to the right.

Even though magic is the main force, it's not like we can't be close to each other because we're training for flesh and bullet warfare together. I used to fall in slavery, so I thought I wasn't good at exercising, but I've been able to move fine since your husband gave me strength.

The spear man seems to have a policy of avoiding whipping and poking spears, and he doesn't seem to set them up from himself until he's attacked. Well, daggers aren't a threat to spears. But when you work with a whip properly, you would say it's a whip alert option because where you receive it, the trajectory increases the likelihood that you will change and get hit, wound up and take off the spear.

After several similar attacks, it was the spears who had made the change first. Avoid the whip attack by moving forward and approach Mr. Yulia. While approaching, he tried to poke a spear out of a reach that could not be reached with a dagger.

In conclusion, the spear struck Mr. Yulia directly. But the game is Mr. Yulia's win. Because the dagger Mr. Yulia threw just before he hit the spear hit the spear's forehead. By the rules, the game ends when an effective hit is hit, so it will be the win for Mr. Yulia, who hit first.

"Almost a draw, so I'm a little dissapointed..."

A returning Mr. Julia says with a slight swelling of her cheeks. It's a pointless assumption, but if it were in action, it would have been a draw with both deaths.

"I'm more unhappy that I couldn't fight to the end..."

"So is that. Well, I'm not as good as Mr. Lolo either, but I wanted to win, so I just didn't hit it with Mr. Kuga."

"I wonder if the pull is weak. Me..."

I have a slight bad feeling about it. I'm not the only one who couldn't win a mock fight, am I?

"Well, at the stage of being enslaved, there's no strong pull."

"But what Jen picked up is Lolo's greatest happiness"

I laugh bitterly, Mr. Yulia, and I say it with a grumpy face, Lolo. Well, it's true that I'm just living and taking a promotion exam to a B-rank adventurer, and I've had a lot of luck, and I'll refrain from saying any more luxury.

In the meantime, all of our groups decided to move to the rendezvous point by saying that they had passed.

"I knew I didn't have a winning star..."

"Mind your own business. If you think about them, you can't help it."

Knott comforts me, but I'm really not going to be able to get back on my feet for a while, beaten by the fact that I was the only one who couldn't win.

"Adele was pretty dangerous, too."

"Coco, don't say much about that..."

"Uh, but the last one's not a bad hit."

"Well..."

Adele seemed pretty critical, too. Still, I'm just jealous that I'm getting results.

The guild leader came as we talked.

"Shall I start by saying congratulations to all of you on your passing"

"Thank you" x8

"Um, I didn't think seven guys would beat A-rank adventurers."

"Ugh!

It's a fatal wound to me. You don't have to say that to the guild chief......

"K, Claude! The scratches are shallow!

"Ah, Sman. But in a way, the number one feat is Claude, who beat Kuga to that point, right?

"I know, yes..., I wanted to win..."

I manage to bear it back that it's going to collapse.

"Cohon. Well, leave that alone. I'll explain the next exam. As we talked about before, in the field exams you will actually take the B-rank exam. The request is for the destruction of the metal turtle."

"Metal turtle. It's a big turtle protected by steely methyl, and it's a monster that's so hard, right?

"Um, you're right. Claude, you're an expert."

"No, that's not..."

I'm just reading a book about demonic ecology, so it's not that big a deal, is it?

"It was witnessed that the metal turtle was being moved from the Wang capital to the Wang capital about a day by carriage. Usually metal turtles crusade with about 10 B-class adventurers, so I thought it would be just fine and let it be an exam. Fortunately, the metal turtle travels slowly. So in case you can't crusade, you can afford to send a second line."

Certainly just the right request. I've never fought, but according to the book, things like < Fire Magic > and < Thunder Magic > work well, so I guess this member can win without a problem.

"I'll give you the requisition form for the details, so look over there."

"Okay. My escort, Mr. A-Rank Adventurer..."

"Of course it's me."

It was Mr. Kuga who came out saying that. Didn't you just leave?

"No, all the other A-ranks are dimpled by losing mock fights. I just didn't think it was going to be almost wiped out. They didn't like it, so I had to go."

Oh, after a mock fight with Mr. A-Rank Adventurer, you're supposed to stay with him. But because I (other than) won, I couldn't use my normal flow anymore...

"One of me is enough, and let's get this over with and join the B-ranks."

"I'm slightly anxious, but Kuga is also a talent who can reach S. I hope we can work this out."

"You're not sure... Don't you think I'm highly regarded..."

"I think I could have recommended it to S-rank a little sooner if I hadn't gotten on track"

"Chickshaw! I'm going to get an S-rank and give it back to you!

Guild chief and Mr. Kuga. You're really close, aren't you?
