Raphael heard Kevin clearly and suddenly stopped what she was doing.

She looked at Kevin with a look of wild joy and whispered, "Sir, you can save Uncle Toti, can’t you? Please save him. I’ll do anything."

As she spoke, Raphael pulled off her hair tie.

Her tears had smeared the makeup on her face, revealing her stunning beauty underneath. "Please save Uncle Toti. If you’re willing, you can do anything to me."

Kevin gently patted Raphael on the shoulder. "Good thing it’s only his heart that’s damaged. If it were anywhere else, I wouldn’t be able to help."

Kevin walked over to Toti and smiled slightly. "Old man, my ship just so happens to need a navigator and a helmsman. Right now, I’m officially inviting you and Raphael to come aboard. Are you willing?"

Toti’s consciousness, which had been about to fade away, suddenly came back for a moment.

He couldn’t hear what Kevin said, but he blinked his eyes with all his remaining strength, using that as his answer.

Kevin understood what Toti meant. He smiled and took out the Eldritch Artifact he had been keeping all along — the [Iron Heart].

[Iron Heart: C-Tier Eldritch Artifact. Insert it into the chest cavity to fuse with the heart. It greatly increases Strength by 5 points, and allows the user to consume 30 Stamina to activate the skill "Iron Body," which turns the skin completely to steel, greatly increasing physical defense. Cost: Must say "I’m a weakling" ten times toward the sea every day.]

This Eldritch Artifact, which he had kept with him all this time, had finally found its use.

"This is going to hurt a little. Bear with it." Kevin glanced back at Eliana and winked. "I’ll need you for this."

Eliana understood right away. She used her telekinesis to pull out the iron shards that were stuck in Toti’s body, one by one.

Throughout the whole process, Toti didn’t bleed a single drop more.

Her telekinesis protected Toti’s body tissues as much as possible.

Then, Kevin took out the [Iron Heart] and shoved it straight into Toti’s chest. "Well, hope you don’t mind the side effects."

After that, Kevin picked up the [Sea Dragon Spine] from the ground and laughed. "Old man, if you’re going to be my helmsman, this little bit of strength won’t cut it. I’m giving this Eldritch Artifact back to you. There’s no way I’m ever using it myself."

Kevin pushed the **Sea Dragon Spine** back into Toti’s stomach.

Then he took out two bottles of [Tears of the Goddess]. He poured one over Toti’s wound and poured the other into Toti’s mouth, right over his beard.

Raphael watched Kevin’s every move. She only breathed a sigh of relief when the last drop of the [Tears of the Goddess] went down Toti’s throat, and the two horrible wounds on his chest and stomach began to heal right before her eyes.

But just before the wounds closed up completely, Raphael saw that Toti’s bones were turning into cold, hard steel.

"What did you do to Uncle Toti?" Raphael turned her head and looked at Kevin with a look of fear in her eyes.

Just then, the old man who had been on his knees slowly stood up.

"Raphael, don’t worry. I’m fine now. I feel stronger than ever."

Toti swung his thick arms around, and the energy coming off him was even more shocking than before.

While Raphael was still in shock, Toti turned his head toward the sea and muttered under his breath, "I’m a goddamn weakling!"

Kevin nodded. "Those two Eldritch Artifacts gave you at least a 10-point boost to your Strength. You’re basically a superhuman now."

Kevin turned to Raphael. "Go wait on the Two-Masted Sloop. Nova and Celula will take care of you."

Raphael had a thousand words she wanted to say to Kevin to thank him.

But when she saw that Kevin wasn’t planning to leave, she changed what she was going to say into a question of concern. "Aren’t you coming with us?

Kevin turned his back to Raphael and Toti and said quietly, "If I leave, you’ll all die."

With that, Kevin walked slowly toward the giant lamprey monster in the distance. "That idiot Oliver made me lose my most advanced steam-powered ship. Good thing this monster is still alive. Otherwise, I’d have taken a huge loss."

Kevin looked back at Eliana. "Can you shut that thing’s mouth for a while?"

"Probably, but only for a few seconds at most. It’s just too big," Eliana said apologetically.

Kevin gently pinched her chin and smiled. "That’s more than enough."

The moment he finished speaking, on the beach behind him, hidden by the darkness of the night, dozens of RPG launchers, Vulcan cannons, and military armored vehicle main guns all turned and aimed their barrels.

"Now!" Kevin gave the order.

Eliana shot up into the sky in an instant.

In the blink of an eye, she was right above the lamprey monster.

ROOOAR!

The lamprey monster let out a furious roar, and a wave of terrible **The Taint** surged toward Eliana.

"You idiot! Using The Taint against me, another Eldritch Entity? You couldn’t be dumber."

Eliana’s eyes flashed with blinding golden light. Two beams of golden energy slammed straight into the lamprey monster’s head.

In an instant, it was as if a rope had been tied around the lamprey’s mouth. Its giant jaws, as big as a basketball court, snapped shut.

Seeing this, Kevin immediately activated his [Mechanical Sovereign] Talent ability.

In an instant, artillery shells and rockets rained down on the lamprey like a storm.

For a moment, the air was filled with nothing but explosions. Thousands of fireballs burst across the monster’s body.

The violent shockwaves and intense heat ripped through the lamprey monster’s flesh. Yellowish-brown blood splattered everywhere.

Eliana couldn’t hold on any longer. She let go of her telekinetic grip on the lamprey monster.

By now, the monster’s giant mouth had stopped making any sound.

It started to curl up, trying to wrap itself around its own mangled, rotting body.

It kept rolling around on the beach, but its body was pinned down by the ram of the deep-sea fishing ship. For a moment, it couldn’t move at all. It could only wait for the second wave of artillery to hit.

Another round of fire came. The lamprey monster tried to use its sucking ability.

But the moment it opened its mouth, Eliana sealed it shut again with her telekinesis.

Thousands of fireballs exploded across the lamprey monster’s body once more, leaving behind wounds so deep you could see the bone.

The monster screamed in agony.

By this time, Raphael and Toti had already made it to the cockpit of the Two-Masted Sloop.

They had just pushed open the door when they saw the lamprey monster being bombarded outside the window.

Toti was completely stunned. "Holy shit! What am I looking at? A thousand missiles going off at once?"

Raphael followed the direction the rockets were coming from.

By the light of the explosions, she finally saw it clearly.

On the beach not far away, the piles of stones and wooden racks that Nova and Celula had built were now covered with all kinds of RPG launchers, Vulcan cannons, and military armored vehicle main guns.

Each one of these big guns was powerful enough to take out a tank with a single shot.

And when you looked across the beach, there were thousands of these cannons lined up.

It seemed like every single one of them was being controlled by Kevin.

With every volley, the gun barrels would shift just slightly on the stones, adjusting their aim.

Seeing this, Raphael suddenly understood. "That man is your real Captain, isn’t he?"

Nova and Celula were also just coming out of their shock.

Even though they already knew Kevin’s plan, they hadn’t expected him to be able to bring out this much firepower.

Just then, the girls all turned their eyes to Raphael.

Celula smiled and said, "Raphael, you’re so beautiful. Were you making yourself look ugly on purpose before?"

Raphael looked a little embarrassed. "Well, you know how it is on this sea. Sometimes looks can bring you trouble."

Nova clicked her high heels as she walked quickly up to Raphael and took her hand. "From now on, on this ship, you can show your beauty as much as you want."

Raphael pulled her hand back like she’d been shocked and looked down shyly. "You still haven’t answered my question. Who is that man? He’s so powerful, he can’t be a nobody."

Monchhichi stood to the side, holding back a laugh, and said softly, "That man really is our Captain. And you’ve actually heard his name before."

"I’ve heard his name before?" Raphael’s eyes went wide.

Even Toti, standing behind her, looked curious. "What’s that young man’s name?"

Amelia looked at how confused Raphael and Toti were and chuckled. "Actually, our Captain is the Kevin from the leaderboard."

"What? Kevin? He’s your Captain? Then why did he fall off the rankings before?" Hearing that the man who just saved his life was Kevin, Toti was so shocked he could barely close his mouth.

Luna smiled and explained, "Naturally, it was so all of us could make it onto the leaderboard. What else do you think we spent all that time fighting Eldritch Entities for tonight?"

Hearing this, Raphael finally understood. "So you’ve been farming points on the leaderboard?"

Monchhichi smiled and nodded. "That’s right. A few of us aren’t that strong in a fight, so it took us a little while."

Hearing that, Toti couldn’t stay calm anymore. "Not that strong? Every single one of you is better than those eighteen Captains outside!"

Amelia spread her hands. "Old man, don’t judge us by the standards out there. After all, the Eldritch Entities we fight are way stronger than the ones those guys deal with."

Toti scratched his head. "Yeah, I guess that’s true."

While Raphael was talking with the girls, the cave up on the mountain had already fallen into chaos.

"God, what am I looking at? That’s three full volleys in a row. Almost ten thousand artillery shells and rockets."

"Should I be calling those guys on the Two-Masted Sloop crazy, or should I be calling that giant monster tough? How is it still alive?"

"Alive? I think it’s almost done. Look at that thing, it looks like a lamprey. It’s almost dead from all the explosions."

Just then, Dewayne, who had been keeping his spying Talent active, said nervously, "When this fight is over, are we really going to rob those people on the Two-Masted Sloop? Their firepower is almost as strong as a real country’s army."
