...
After the storm passed, Kevin and the others had taken a ten-day break. Now, they were back on the rankings — and this time, they had taken over both leaderboards at once.
Seeing this, Kevin showed a look that said, "I knew it."
At the same time, the World Channel, which had been quiet for a while, exploded again with the names of Kevin and his crew.
"Oh my god, am I seeing this right? So many new names just popped up on both leaderboards."
"Dammit, it’s Kevin and his people. Their break is over, and now they’ve taken over our rankings again."
"What the hell! What kind of name is ’Daddy’ Cannon? Who came up with that?"
"It’s in first place, so does that mean it’s everyone’s daddy?"
"Well, you’re not wrong. Look at the Survivor Leaderboard — eight of the top ten are from ’Daddy’ Cannon."
"Damn it, stop bringing up the word ’daddy.’ Every time I hear it, I feel sick."
"I worked so hard to get stronger, thinking I could finally compete on the rankings. But as soon as Kevin and his crew got back from their break, my rank dropped by ten spots."
While the Survivors were all buzzing with chatter, on a distant stretch of sea, a square ark was floating just above the water, moving fast.
A man dressed in a classic Eastern robe — Bruce Lee — had a long sword strapped to his back. His face was full of excitement.
He wasn’t discouraged by seeing Kevin and the others on the rankings. In fact, his face was full of challenge: "I knew those guys wouldn’t just disappear into this terrifying sea."
With a thought, the sword on his back flew in front of him and hovered silently.
He stepped onto the blade, like stepping onto a skateboard, and flew up into the sky like a Chinese sword immortal.
Just then, a group of Survivors came out of the ark’s cabin.
They were about to talk to Bruce Lee about Kevin, but they saw him turn into a shooting star and disappear before their eyes.
Doctor Banner sighed and said, "Bruce Lee is still so impatient. Everyone, get ready for a few days without our Captain."
Behind him, Chef Sunny frowned: "Did the Captain leave us again to go pick a fight with someone?"
Doctor Banner spread his hands: "This isn’t the first time. Remember that deserted island we passed last time? The Captain couldn’t beat the Commander-level Eldritch Entity there. So every time he gets stronger, he flies back alone to fight it again."
Chef Sunny sighed. "Looks like we need to prepare ourselves. According to the news on the World Channel, ’Daddy’ Cannon is very far from us. The Captain probably won’t be back for seven or eight days."
Just then, a girl dressed exactly like Bruce Lee walked out of the cabin.
She glanced at Banner and Sunny and said with a cold laugh, "Don’t worry. Bruce Lee’s level has gone up again. He can now fly his sword as fast as a fighter jet."
Hearing this, Banner and Sunny’s eyes went wide, and they gasped.
"What a freak!"
At the same time, in another part of the sea.
The Black Curtain was slowly pushing forward across the water.
In front of it, under a bright blue sky, a ship that looked like something out of a sci-fi movie was sailing on the green sea.
At the center of the ship, a glowing ball like a sun was giving off constant light and heat.
Wherever the ship passed, the clouds in the sky were pushed away, and the murky sea water was purified.
On the deck, Survivors in beach shorts and swimsuits were relaxing and drinking their drinks.
Inside that glowing ball, Captain Hulk was sitting on an energy conversion platform.
The endless nuclear energy from his body was being turned into light and heat, stored in the ship’s energy system.
When the ship was fully charged, Hulk finally let go, picked up the cup beside him, and drank it all in one gulp.
"Steve, how many times have I told you? Give me cold water." Hulk complained as he crushed the cup in his hand.
A hundred meters away, Steve kept a safe distance from Hulk and explained, "When you release energy, the temperature around you reaches a thousand degrees Celsius. Even if I put a bucket of liquid nitrogen next to you, it would evaporate instantly."
Hulk rolled his eyes. "Damn this Talent."
He jumped up, leaving footprints of different depths on the metal platform. They were all caused by the high temperature from Hulk’s body.
With a splash, Hulk dove into the sea.
A faint fog began to rise from the water’s surface.
Not far away, a few Eldritch Entities swam toward him excitedly. But as soon as they got within a kilometer of Hulk, they felt a burning pain in their bodies.
Before they could even react to the strange temperature of the water around them, Hulk suddenly swam toward them.
A terrifying wave of heat spread out. The Eldritch Entities didn’t even have time to escape before they were cooked alive by Hulk’s body heat.
Hulk shot through the water like a torpedo, swimming over ten kilometers in one go.
Then he quickly surfaced and let out a loud shout of joy.
Right after that, the heat inside him — like a nuclear reactor — suddenly exploded outward, boiling huge patches of seawater.
Within a one-kilometer radius around Hulk, a vacuum zone of steam formed. All the liquid seawater had turned into vapor, rising high into the sky and even creating colorful rainbows in the light.
On the deck, Steve looked at the rainbow scene not far away and wiped the sweat off his forehead. "I told him to swim farther away. He does this every time."
On the other side, Stark walked over slowly with ice cubes in his mouth.
He didn’t say a word, but just picked up a bucket of ice water and handed it to Steve.
Steve quickly grabbed two ice cubes and put them in his mouth, then dumped the whole bucket of ice water over his head to cool down.
By then, the ice in Stark’s mouth had completely melted. He stuck out his tongue and sighed. "At this rate, even with my Frost Talent, I can’t keep up with the Captain’s heat."
Steve shrugged. "At least with the Captain around, we get sunshine and clean seawater."
Stark laughed dryly. Then he pulled out the latest rankings and said, "You’ve seen the new rankings. I suggest we go find that Kevin for help. If we don’t control the Captain’s Talent soon, it’s going to get out of hand."
Steve frowned. "Find Kevin? What can he do? I haven’t heard of anyone in Kevin’s crew having a Frost Talent."
Stark sighed. "Even if they can’t directly help us control the heat the Captain gives off, they might at least help us think of something."
He paused, then his expression turned serious. "If we don’t find a way to hold back that terrifying nuclear reactor power inside the Captain, we’ll have to split up with him. After all, nobody wants to die from radiation."
Steve shot Stark a look. "Don’t worry. Before we die from radiation, we’ll be roasted dry first."
With that, Steve opened the World Channel and publicly called out to "Daddy" Cannon, asking for Kevin’s help.
While all the major forces were making moves around Kevin, on a ship crewed entirely by women, chatter rose and fell in waves.
Dozens of girls were buzzing about the deeds of "Daddy" Cannon, Kevin, and the others.
Since many of these girls had admirers, quite a few Survivors had passed along information about Kevin. The girls gathered it all together and handed it over to Captain Navea.
Captain Navea looked at the material in her hands, a look of admiration in her eyes. "A team of eight people managed to wipe out thousands of Eldritch Entities in just over ten minutes. That’s incredible."
Barbie, a crew member beside her, nodded in agreement. "Captain Navea, only a Survivor team like this is worthy of joining our Women’s Fist Alliance."
Navea blinked, then said in a firm tone, "But we still need to remove the two men from that team. Our Women’s Fist Alliance cannot have any males in its ranks. Even if it’s Kevin, it’s not allowed."
Barbie nodded. "That’s right. The latest Survivor Leaderboard makes it very clear — whether by rank or by numbers, women dominate the Survivor Leaderboard. We should bring them into the alliance and fight for justice for all female Survivors."
Navea tapped her fingers on the table, her eyes narrowing. "Contact those girls. Find a chance to meet with them. When the time comes, we’ll kill Kevin and Toti in front of them and set them free. Then they’ll be so grateful they’ll join our Women’s Fist Alliance family without hesitation."
Barbie bowed respectfully. "As you wish, Captain Navea."
