Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician
545 Michelle's Demon
The soy sauce koji using the fermentation promotion formula was finished about the time of the day's dinner, as generally estimated.
From there, soy sauce was planted and further processed using the surgical formula to increase the speed to the completion of fermentation.
The rice koji, soy sauce koji, etc. that did not use the surgical formula were not yet ready at that time, but this one was left to nature, so it became a trend to finish slowly the next day.
"You just have to mix this up regularly"
"Yeah. It'll take a little work, but please do it when you're away."
"I'm in awe, sir. I'll take care of it."
Cecilia, Michaela, Claire of Alkeny and Cyril of Centaur, and all the servants were to be gathered together to teach the field how to look after them during fermentation, such as how to plant miso and soy sauce using the remaining bean shells.
This one, like Grace and the others, all looked like they were having fun working on it. Something I'm unfamiliar with, but what I make is fermented foods, so they're familiar with proportions of these tasks.
"I haven't had many opportunities these days, but making cheese and yogurt is something I did well"
"We used to help with this kind of planting in Labyrinth Village."
And, that's how Michaela and Claire said it and worked it out with bickering. I guess everyone has more work experience than me and others when fermentation was originally the only thing rooted in life.
That is why they were all servants who also understood the development of new fermented foods.
Alfred and I are also talking about creating a magical form of magic magic prop that periodically re-calls the fermentation boosting technique by creating a magic prop next to making a medal golem and placing a magic stone filled with magic.
This would make it possible to promote fermentation efficiently even while away. Perhaps the day when miso and soy sauce can be made is close enough.
I was supposed to have a full moon day in motion with this, no matter how it went. From Grantios, along with Queen Eldraine, the Seyrains, who wish to participate in special performances, come, and so on, and are ready.
We proceeded to prepare for the summons ceremony at the Peresford school building, such as the confirmation of the theatrical facilities of the Seylanes within the bright hours of the day… That's how we headed back to the Peresford school building to perform the summons ceremony with Michelle.
"Are you okay with the procedure?
"Yes, I've been practicing to the point where I can recite spells once and for all"
He was a faceted Michelle slightly nervous with a fine sword for the ritual, but he laughed small when he hung his voice.
Yeah. It's not that difficult, and Michelle's a solid magician at the basics. You'll be fine around here.
Later... it's about what kind of demon is coming, but Michelle might be worried about it too.
Michelle closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, and then she looks at me.
"I can see the moon already, so you can always do it"
"Yes. Then -"
As she watched with everyone, Michelle went to the front of the altar, laid out a fine sword, and began casting spells.
A voice chanting a good spell echoed - a pillar of light rose in the magic formation to interact with it. And after that light had subsided... one demon was standing.
"Uh?
Michelle looked at him and circled his eyes, squealing like that. I get the impression that you're confused. Maybe he was worried about what to do when a tough demon arrived.
It was a sloppy body animal. The body is dark brown hairy with black hair growing around the eyes. Let's just say the big, round eyes are adorable.
"Sure... you're a demon to say Hypnolacoon. They manipulate illusions to turn people into human beings or even put them to sleep with smoke."
"Hypnolacoon......"
Tanuki or raccoon, if that's what you call it in the end.
Apparently loving, but a clean demon. Is he also about a turn bigger than those normal animals? There are no tail stripes that are characteristic of raccoons, but the tip is fairly clever.
Is the attribute water or soil? I'm not sure about one right now. Maybe it doesn't mean I specialize in any of them.
They have the ability to spray smoke with sleep effects or apply their abilities to show hallucinations similar to hypnosis.
Although they are forest dwellers, they can also appear in people. Such a point might be closer to a raccoon than a raccoon.
Percentages are huge in people, but they often set up a prank of "converting" people into forest territory. All in all, however, there has not been a very malicious attack.
Or maybe it's not a prank, but a threat to keep them away from the purpose of protecting the territory, the fellow herds, the children of the Hypnolacoon, etc.
Similar to Flamia in terms of manipulating illusion... fire-tails are a more demonic impression. It's a demon that came at the summoning ceremony, and the Haunted Fox and the Haunted Raccoon are aligned, but somehow the difference in character, impression, and attributes between the two is just as imagined.
Michelle herself has magical aptitudes for soil and water, both...... Attributionally, there's a near-compatible demon coming after all.
Hypnolacoon stares at Michelle, the summoner. The same goes for Michelle again - the two stared at each other for a few moments, but eventually continued the ritual as if Michelle remembered better.
"Answers my call. Show me my name here, give you your name, and make a covenant for a long time."
He chants and cuts his fingertips off, touching the water mirror where the Hypnolacoon is shown.
Continuing the ritual means acknowledging the summoned demon as a demon. If you don't like it, it's possible to send it back.
"My name is Michelle. Your name is Ortona."
The Hypnolacoon named Ortona - when the contract was concluded and the magic team lost its light... stood up on its hind legs as a matter of course, and came to Michelle with a firm foothold. And then, hey, he reaches out without any concern.
Hmm...... Somehow, but I think it seems compatible with Corliss in character, or is it reminiscent?
"Nice to meet you, Ortona"
Michelle takes that hand with some confusion.
No, Corliss feels like he learned later, but Ortona doesn't seem to have been taught by Michelle. I knew people's greetings from the beginning, so I did. Sometimes people just say they show up.
That's how Michelle and I shook hands, and Ortona went back to walking four-legged again, naturally.
Well, it might be a good thing the fingertips are clever. I would be able to help Michelle with a lot of things around her greenhouse management, and I felt stable walking on both feet. In view of its ability, it would also be a good percentage as a bodyguard.
Hmm...... Do you want me to give you the magic props of Levitation? From what I've seen, it looks like you can communicate enough, and if you get used to it, you'll use it.
"You're a cute girl inside"
"You seem smart, too. I've heard of a fairly clever hand."
Grace smiles and Rosemary nods quietly. Did Rosemary know? It doesn't seem necessary to explain it in detail from me.
Ortona was on the spot with other faces - Ashley, Mallane and Claudia. Serafina, then the animal group...... and it looked like they were going nearby in turn to greet each other. Lavine and the others have responded to Ortona's greetings with great enthusiasm. Sheila and Illumhilt are preparing at the theater, so will they say hello later?
"Thank you"
Michelle grinned as relieved to see the sights around that greeting.
"Then, when we have cleaned up after the ritual, shall we go back home? Then let's head to the theater."
"Yes."
Seylane and the others are already waiting at home. After the regular performance, Seylan and the others will also be guided to the theater for a special performance with the effort of finishing the training of the Knights of the Crusaders.
Well. There's still plenty of time to spare, and we'll be able to clean up well enough and then introduce Ortona to everyone.
