Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician

Outside 344 Beschmerck Capital

I look everywhere within Beshmerk from above...... there are many things that can be explained in general terms by the knowledge based on the map created with Elena's cooperation.

In plain sight, streets are also dotted with new roads and cities that Elena doesn't know about. developed over the last fifty years, I guess.

Nevertheless, there is no problem with such a change.

Be careful about buildings and changes that seem inconsistent with the knowledge you are assuming...... so far I have not seen any of those either. There was no such thing as a great deal of vigilance on the ground, and so far there has been a peaceful and long idle landscape, albeit within Beshmerk.

Again... if there is anything, it will be after you arrive near the capital of Beschmerck. As long as there is no danger, the critical facility will be on hand as much as possible, and if it is, it is predicted that we will be alert from time to time, even if we are not alert to our movements.

That's how we fly for a while - eventually far beyond the horizon, we see the king's capital of Beshmerk.

Slow down the speed and manipulate the crystal plate to enlarge the Wang Du.... Not as big as Theorem, but a fairly large castle is in the heart of the city, and there are towering temples around the castle. The streets are spreading around it...

"That's..."

And Elena leaked her voice.

"Is there a part of me that's different from my memory?

When Grace asks, Elena nods.

"Yes. It's different from the old King's Capital. On the western side of the city, there's a big building… there was no such thing in the past."

Turn your gaze to it on Elena's words.

Indeed. The building was concerned from the moment I saw it. Position isolated from the city - in a building further outside than the outer walls… I have the impression that it was made later, like Hot Springs Street and Shipyards in Termwilds, for example. If you think in light of Elena's memory, it would mean a substitute made in the last fifty years.

I don't know... it's a strangely shaped building with a slight impression. Can't you tell the purpose, etc. from what I saw?

"What building is it? That's it. Temple...... is it?

"A magic research facility, what are the possibilities?

Ashley or Libra tilts her neck. Elena goes on to say even more after first agreeing, "That's possible," she said.

"But the magic research facility seems to have something I know that exists apart from that one. Can you see the building with the bridge crossed from the Royal Castle spire? Externally, it's called out-of-house, but it's a magical research facility."

That's what Elena tells me about the equipment.

Elena's knowledge of Beschmerck is secrecy, but that's because past events can't be made public, and even though she intentionally discarded some technology, that's not why she's even abandoned the management of the gates that lead to the demonic world. There was a need for institutions to study and inherit magic technology to help with defense and other areas in order to manage the dangerous legacy that remained. That's what's been around since ancient times.

Safe, useful technologies for life, etc. are sometimes disclosed outside, and they were also useful in supporting the lives of the people of Beschmerck.

I wonder if the identity of the building outside the city is unknown.

As Claudia said, Elena nodded.

"Right. Since we have all the equipment for magical relationships...... it doesn't seem necessary to spend the effort and bother building buildings with the same purpose in such a conspicuous way. If you abandoned the idea of keeping the information secret, I'll change the story again."

"If we're going to do an investigation, we're going to start somewhere with information before that building. If you look out of the palace, you'll know if it's still being used as a magical device."

I'm also concerned about that unidentified building, but I have to look into the outhouse first. Even if we do an undercover investigation, the risks change without information. If the outhouse may have been used as a research facility, a more low-risk investigation may also be possible.

But so far, it's not like we're going to be able to infiltrate and investigate the Wang capital any time soon. I've heard rumors of political anxiety all the way outside, and it looks like a lot of soldiers are on patrol. It won't be possible to infiltrate during the day.

The Sirius moves forward at a certain distance, looking sideways at the king's capital of Beshmerk. Scheduled...... we are going to move to a forest area that will continue to spread east of the Wang Capital and cover up the ship there before we begin our operations. Well, I don't know what's gonna happen to you.

- Apparently, you're okay around here.

Elliot said when he finished checking the surrounding information.

Locally, over the back of the forest off the street, that means. As planned, they flew all the way to the woodland, which stretches east of Wang Du.

Behind the woods lies a magical accumulation. I mean, the woods where hostile demons come and go. Small demons, like goblins and cobolts, seem to live in the woods everywhere to see life reactions.

It seems that some soldiers are patrolling along the streets… at a distance that is neither deep enough to stimulate the Lord of the Magic Build-up, nor yet in such a position that soldiers enter on a normal patrol.

The lack of patrols of the soldiers means that people are less likely to enter in gathering etc... the amount of little demons would tell the story of it.

I don't see any life reactions or anything human around me. Looks like the big, high-risk demons need to go deeper too.

"Distance around here is not a boulder."

"Theo, you worked as an adventurer."

And, Alfred grins at Ichiemon's words.

"Well, it's possible that those adventurers will come around here... because the growing trees will hide overhead. I was wondering if we could put up a cover to avoid people and demons and wrap the field around the hull."

With that said, Forceto nodded.

"Now, I'm going to use cover-ups while I'm alert to my surroundings quickly."

"Oh. That's the thing. I was wondering if it would be desirable not to respond too flashly to the extent that I threatened to chase away demons even if they approached me while I was working."

It's less dangerous because there are no very strong demons around... but if the goblins get away with it by the streets, there are also people out there who fear that something might have gone wrong in the woods. That's why it's undesirable more than doing covert behavior.

Explaining things around there, Horn speaks up if that's the case. He says if it's about a weak demon, he can put it together and put it to sleep.

Oh. If it's a dream, it's true, there's no such thing as a goblin running away driven by fear, and I might hit it and put it on.

"Then it might be a good idea to bathe the sleep cloud from the tree."

Ashley said, Elliot nodded too.

"So let's move with that policy"

That's what I say and the two of them get up.

"Then I guess I'll be on guard from inside the ship to where the demons are while I'm working. By asking Cadkeus and Valor to move up to the sky when the demon comes near."

"Then we'll be escorting Ashley and the others."

And, Sheila says, everyone nods and starts moving each.

Once you are ready to remain a lurking point... it is finally the beginning of the infiltration operation. We plan to wait for the night first and head to a town near the woods.

So we gather information on the current situation in Beschmerck, etc. The general public will not have important information, but it will first be necessary to find out what information is being passed on to the public.
