Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician

Outside 1328, control and concealed passage.

Previously in Theorem King Melvin had entered a place called the Sanctuary in the Royal Castle Heavenly Guard.

On the labyrinth side - that is, reporting back to Claudia, the labyrinth administrator, on what has happened for a year, while maintaining her duties as king.

I'm talking about the fact that this king's duties take as long as three days... but this has the intention of calming the spirit as an exchanger and getting a lot of reflection, as well as seeing and judging and responding to the thoughts and actually put in there, it seems.

"Sometimes politics doesn't work because of luck, circumstance, or demonic activity, so judging whether or not you're fulfilling your contract is comprehensive. Are you telling the truth, including the information obtained by divinity, or is there any harm in telling the truth that you can't ignore without offense? Sometimes you think about it and you think about it and you think about it and you think about it."

and Claudia tells us the back story about the king's duties in the sanctuary.

Well, if it's too bad, there's a warning that it's "a breach of contract or a breach of contract," as the labyrinth has created the old pit and widened the area.

It is a labyrinth that was in dysfunction, but dialogue with the king was possible, and such warnings were not based on Claudia's clear will, but on a synergy between the automatic reaction to Claudia's thoughts in the labyrinth and the contents of the contract magic.

"Thanks to that, the Kingdom of Verdogal is at peace. The kings of history have gone as far as they go."

Where you're going...... you mean breaking your contract with Claudia. I guess that will be the case for the rest of the time. I don't suppose it would be a situation where you were judged ineligible to bind the country as a royalty, or something like that, but mostly it would be a situation where you exit and give up the throne before you get that far.

We were traveling within Endewills Castle even as we talked about that...... Claudia is still on her way to the castle's heavenly guard...... it looks like the top.

"I knew the control part of the castle was heavenly?

"Right. That's where you can see the whole castle, so let's think about where we can all use it."

Claudia answers when Sheila tilts her neck and asks. Mallane also shook her head vertically looking like she was having fun.

Continue along the corridor and take the pumice elevator to the upper floor, then reach the hierarchy at the top of the castle. It was - a somewhat murderous space with just red crystal sphere-like objects buried on the black wall. Elsewhere there were gimmicks like sculptures moving and passageways opening, but this might be where the emphasis is on practicality.

Claudia moves forward and touches the red sphere. Then a line of light ran on the black wall, so that part of the wall faded and disappeared, and the passage opened. That's a trick you see from time to time in ruins and magically tangled buildings. Is the red sphere… acting as personal authentication? Claudia's deposit compartment is still in place with regard to this Endewills, even though she left the janitor.

"Ahead."

Proceeding through the open passage, there was the control room at Endewills Castle. In the middle of a room made of the same black building material as the earlier room, there is still something like an embedded pedestal of a sphere.

When Claudia touches the sphere - something like a three-dimensional view of the castle is reflected in the space.

"You can zoom in and out of this... and you can actually project what's going on on on the wall."

"That's why you're in these rooms."

When Grace says, Claudia also says, "Yeah. Though a little unadulterated," he laughs. There is no such thing as furniture - if you take the cloth out of Rosemary's magic bag and settle your hips around it, you will be able to proceed with a relaxing consultation.

Claudia took my place because the agent said there was no problem operating the controls.

"I think it's better for Theodore to take a look at the crime scene than I do."

"Mm-hmm. Bye."

and operate the control apparatus to look at the structure of the castle, etc. Important facilities are constructed on the main road, with the structure of concentrating troops in the Great Hall, etc. and placing soldiers in the shadows against intruders... I have the impression that boulders have high defense capabilities.

Life reactions inside. I also know the position of the troops on this side, so if there is anything like an attack on Endewills Castle, can we change the structure of the castle by judging the battle situation in real time from this control device?

It is not so much a regular castle as a place where Claudia's daily living space was located outside the centre… Even if there is a treasure trove in the castle, it is Claudia, who was the caretaker, and the passage to the basement that leads to the center that is the main focus of this castle. So, the heavenly guard that can attack from the outside and from the air is noticeable, but not so important. Mislead may be the one that makes you think of it as the control device of the labyrinth itself.

Regarding this control apparatus, it cannot be handled unless it is the administrator himself, the agent or the zoning administrator, and the function is restricted in the event of an emergency such as the fall of the heavenly guard. They say it's a control device, but it only seems to be castle-limited, and Claudia herself can take the means to evacuate further to the center.

"It's pretty easy to see that you're getting thicker protection for important facilities. I wonder if it's built primarily to evacuate the invasion while making people think it's heavily guarded."

Conversely, there is the advantage of not being noticed that other places are not so important. I dare you to put important things on the side roads along the way.

With that explanation, Rosemary says with a serious look as she looks at the 3D view.

"I'd like to put the goods in the back of the hall, even if it's on the sidewalk to avoid attention."

"Right. Indeed, I want to make the most of the structures that already exist. On top of that, I think it would be safe for the forces in the castle to protect us."

"Then... around here or something?

"Mm-hmm. Looks good here, too"

Taking my word for it, Yui and Sheila suggest points that are likely to be candidates in a place deeper than the Great Hall.

Sheila has a good eye for ease of security and so on, and Yui is working hard for the last Guardian in the Demon Realm's labyrinth.

This place is a library. This is the kitchen.

and tells us what each place is like. I see.

"Neither seems bad as a position... but if it's easy to hide things, it's a library, if it's unexpected, it's a kitchen"

Everyone nods humbly when they say their advantages. I'll discuss it with you a little bit as it is.

"For example… what about combining both"

Ashley came up with something good. Everyone nods and explains when they turn their gaze. Here's the idea.

They create a mechanism whereby switches and gimmicks for unlocking are provided either in the kitchen or in the library, and the hidden door in the other facility opens if you put it in. Both the kitchen and the library are sidetracks from the road to the center of the castle and away from position. You can't open it if you don't know, so...

"Neither facility is used now, and that sounds good"

"Sure. Even if there is a chance that the castle of Endewills will be utilized in the future... I guess it's the kitchen where outsiders are unlikely to come in"

Nodding at Elena's words. Even if it happens to be switched on, the kitchen should still be able to keep the information secret.

"I think it's a good idea."

Illumhilt also smiled and Mallane snorted.

"Shall we adopt the plan?"

"Hehe, you're starting to have fun"

Stefania said she seemed in a good mood. Hmm.

I need to think about what kind of device to use as a door, etc. And the space for the expansion of the castle - there seems to be no problem.
