"The Beast King..."

"Exactly. He is the 48th generation of" The Beast King, "Gargand Sphincis."

After getting Phil out of the item box, we were taken to a camp by a beast man named Gaius.

This space, densely packed with large tents just off the battlefield where I was earlier, seems to have been created by the Beasts for use in this battle.

I was invited to one of the tents and while drinking the tea-like stuff that was served there, I was asking about that man who lost his right arm from Gaius.

But what I heard there was the name of someone hard for me to believe.

Beast King.

If I remember correctly, he's a super big man on Earth.

Why is there a being called the Eight Kings in this place?

No, well, there's one of the eight kings in my party.

Nevertheless, we would not be able to speak of the Necromancer King and the Beast King in the same line.

Whatever it is, I've been making you buoy for 1000 years when it comes to the Beast King, and it's not the same character as the Necromancer King, who has only half that history.

Hmm?

But since Krall is still the 1st generation Necromancer King, can't you even tell me he has a better season than the 48th generation Beast King?

Don't get too sure which one's up there or something when you think about it.

"... what if you came into the battlefield without knowing it?

"Uh... uh, yes"

Gaius touched his forehead slightly troubled when he understood that he had helped me without knowing I was the Beast King.

I can't help but lie weird here.

That doesn't put me at a disadvantage.

"It's hard for Russia to believe... then what the hell are you doing intervening on the battlefield for?

"That's right, yeah..."

"Don't ask too many uncanny questions. Guests will be in trouble."

And there came the example of the Beast King into the tent where we were.

I'm a little surprised to see the Beast King's right arm normally connected, but I reconsider that maybe it played with superior healing magic, and now I keep that question in my mouth.

"Well, let's name it first. I'm Gargand Sphinsys."

"... my name is Singh"

I gave my name to the king of beasts.

I guess I should have really named him a fake name, but if I didn't get through to this guy's bad lies, I thought to myself when I looked him in the eye.

"Sin......? From what I've seen, you look more like an Earthling than a human being."

…………

And he seems to have the power to see exactly who he's dealing with.

In the Earth world, dark-haired, dark-eyed humans exist to some extent besides earthlings.

Nevertheless, it would be possible to predict that black hair and dark eyes might be Earthlings.

But this man had this kind of atmosphere that made me an earthling.

"Nah... chi, Earthlings!? Then this man..."

"Come on, Gaius. No matter who this man is, he is a benefactor. Besides, that's not why I thought this guy affirmed that he was an Earthling, is it?

"Well, that's true..."

... apparently subtly inconvenient for the Beasts that I am an Earthling.

That's better because I can tell you the same thing.

"... Thank you for waiting"

"Oh, Phil."

Also came Phil, who had finished dressing there in another tent.

That said, I can't replace it because it's like the hot pants I always wear.

"Mr. Singh... sorry about earlier... DO"

You don't have to apologize.

I'm an 18-ban VRFPS game (which is out at my age). Though I'm pretty immune to that kind of gross depiction, Phil probably doesn't have that.

"I'm already in middle school... embarrassed..."

"That's... don't worry too much"

Furthermore, Phil began to hide his slightly reddish face with a muffler.

I guess embarrassing is saying that I took a leak on the battlefield.

But that's force majeure, so I don't really care.

It would have been awkward if I had leaked the big one to the boulder.

I don't think anyone's hurt.

"Yes, well."

Phil may have taken a little mental damage, but no physical damage whatsoever.

He was in my item box until the dispute ended, so it's natural.

"Nevertheless... we've all been distracted. I didn't see the battle in person, but all those who stood around you, without exception, fell on the spot in a mysterious attack."

"Ha..."

And so he began to talk to me about the battle from the Beast King to earlier.

"I can only get reports from those around me that I have no idea what was going on, but should I not pry into this?

"Uh, yes, well, that's right"

Actually, it's just restorative magic.

But if you're not going to listen, let's be honest and snort.

"But I didn't know I could leave that Grimm of a Demon Army lieutenant general alone. I didn't think I had to stop him."

"... is Grimm the person who was leading that army of demons? The skin is green and giant."

"That's right. That man is strong enough to get into the five fingers among the demons. This time, I saw my life injured, and it seemed to be in the back."

"Heh..."

What does he care about having top five strengths within the Demon Clan?

I quickly halved my HP with damaged heels + exotics that I couldn't deal with at first glance this time, but I don't know what would have happened if I had fought normally.

Well, I don't care.

I don't even want to deal with the Demons.

I don't know if he's a lieutenant general, but he won't have a chance to see me anymore.

But then I got a bit of an unexpected counterattack and accidentally stopped him.

You'll be able to move in a few days at a time, but that's my fault.

We'll have to be more refined.

"If he was on the front line, it would have been dangerous for him. Thank you for your help."

"No, I don't. I thought you might be told not to water the warrior's battle."

"That's not true. The Demons fouled their pride in this battle."

I defiled my pride.

When the Beast King said so, Gaius opened his mouth to take after him.

"The Devil's side poisoned the water in the river where our Beasts drink. It's not easy to detoxify."

"Poison?"

"Yes. By the time we found out about that, roughly half of the entire veterinary army was going to lay on the floor. Because of that, this battle has forced me into a disadvantage."

"Heh."

Poison drinking water, huh?

I don't know in Earth, but it is certainly one of the means to be repelled in war.

I don't think there's anything pretty or dirty about the war, but I wouldn't feel very good if they did that.

"And in the course of the earlier battles, the king of the beast, who fell ill, had to take command to develop into a dark state of defeat."

"... hmm? Disease? Apart from poison?

The way I put it now sounds like the Beast King is on the verge of illness.

I can't even sense such signs or dust from what the Beast King looks like in front of me.

"What do you not know? Fair enough; it is trivial."

"Ha..."

"More than that. I'm trying to reward you with something."

And you don't want to be touched on the topic of disease there, the Beast King has changed the subject in a somewhat forceful way.

"I don't want that. I didn't fight for a reward."

"Huh, well don't say that. If I had finished my thanksgiving with a cup of tea, I would have seen the Beast King's name low."

That said.

I don't want to get too involved here.

Then it would be best to get something that seems easy to get on the spot right now.

But what should I demand when I do?

"... then can you give me the means to travel to the town of Mireille?

"... what? Mireille?

"? Yes"

When I nodded softly in response to the confirmatory voice of the Beast King, the Beast King turned to Gaius.

"Mireille is a town in the heart of the continent of Wolves, isn't it? I thought it would take about a year from here."

A year.

When I heard the words, I realized I had a bad feeling about them.

Well, before I got here, I had confirmed that I couldn't get in touch with Mina and the others with the call function or the message function, so I kind of guessed.

Besides, the fact that there are both Beasts and Demons probably predicted that this might not be the continent of Wolds, or around 'Valhalla', where the three continents, known as the center of the world, were connected.

So I thought it would be a pretty long way back to the beginning town in the heart of the continent, but I didn't know it would take a year.

That said, in fact, as long as we go to the big town on the continent of Wolds, we can go back to the starting town via Wolds Fountain.

"Were you on your way to Mireille?"

"Yeah, well."

"Then I will prepare your feet. With it shall be a thank-you from the Beasts."

Feet.

You can't just walk that far.

I'd appreciate it if I could borrow a horse or something.

It's only a VR to experience riding like that though.

Thus we received from the Beast King what would be our leg.

"Well, Phil, I asked you to do it. I'll be out again in eight hours, so we can talk about it by then."

"Mmm... I'm coming"

After my meeting with the Beast Kings, Phil and I decided to rent a tent and finish the day.

It was evening when we were talking, because Gaius took care to stay for the day.

In fact, I appreciate this.

We've come this far from exploring the labyrinth without ever resting.

The boulders are full of rocks.

Also, after eating in the tent, Phil has offered to log out during such a break and report back to Earth once to the school on the situation we are currently in.

When we log out, we go to the logout area.

The area refers to the area around the Wolds Fountain in every town on the continent of Wolds.

However, it is possible to log out itself without having to be around the Fountain for once.

But it carries great risks.

…………

Apparently he was manipulating the menu screen. Phil meditated on his eyes with his shoulder caught by me and started putting up something like a sleeping breath.

If you log out from outside the area around the fountain, we cloclocloclo players will be completely defenseless, like Phil is now.

It just looks asleep, but nothing happens unless the person logged out logs back in.

It can be described as a vegetable human condition.

It's too defenseless in this condition, so Phil asked me to keep it inside the item box when he logged out...

"Stay with me..."

Is it okay for you to say that and leave your body with me?

Of course, that's how much you trust me, so I'll take care of it.

But I'm not so pure either that I have absolutely nothing to think about the situation where there's a girl in front of me who doesn't do anything about it.

Of course, that's not why I do anything.

"I guess I should have..."

I put Phil's body in my own item box as I shook away my evil thoughts.

You decided to do this story yourself because Phil suggested it, but that doesn't make it okay for a girl to look defenseless where the guy is.

No, of course I won't do anything.

However, it would be safer for Phil to log out than I am in the present situation.

I don't think so, but the Demons may have ambushed us or had an unplanned incident.

If that's what you're worried about, it could develop into a story about not even getting your hands on the tea and rice that the Beasts served.

But I don't have much food to carry with me, so I can't help it.

I don't want to make the relationship worse considering the dangers I don't even know if there are, and I have trouble getting thrown out here hungry.

Well, whatever.

If something happens that needs to be resolved in battle, I'm pretty sure I can handle it better than Phil.

I can't beat anyone if I'm capable of surviving a sudden crisis.

"Anyway, we need to get to the town on the continent of Wolds..."

While I was aware of their current position, I began to think about the future.

Probably due to that masked player's alienation (abilities), but we've been flown from Wolds to Meermill.

To get back from here to Mireille, we need to get to at least the major towns on the continent of Wolds.

If we get to the town of the continent of Wolds, we can use the transfer team to return to Mireille.

Plus, once you get into Wolds continent, you should be able to restore your communication capabilities.

I think maybe someone will protect me somewhere if I contact them.

Though that area will change with Phil's report logged out.

That said, I can't keep waiting here all the time to get you protected.

At least we need to get to a nearby town on our own.

Then it's imperative to fight the MOB outside.

"... I would have leveled it in good order because of it"

Imagine how strong the MOBs around here are and I can't help but feel depressed and I fall over the bed.

And stalled my thoughts, and I waited until the time Phil returned.
