"Hey Oogie. Aren't you the ones who stole this store's stuff?

…………

We were staring at the guild [Fenrill] with a frivolous eye in Mary's owned blacksmith 'Authentic' store.

"... Ha, suddenly I wonder what to say"

[Fenrill] 's guild master, Ougi, who was questioned, shook his head like a jerk and quietly listened back to us.

"How the hell do you make such a claim?

Arguments.

In other words, the Oogies seem to take an attitude that they have nothing to do with this incident.

"... apologize if it was our mistake. But I'm gonna ask you again. O'Mae and the others aren't really doing anything, are they?

"That's tough. We didn't do anything. What are you gonna do with that?

"It's..."

"If there's any merit in you stealing your gear from Mary's shop,"

After the van I try to explain to Ougi, who also denies, I spin words for all the members of [Fenrill].

"First of all, the equipment Mary makes is the best quality around here. That's well worth stealing."

The city's residents have a bad reputation, but Mary's blacksmith skills outweigh Earth's blacksmiths.

Merry's overwhelming in terms of strengthening his status, although in terms of detail he doesn't rely on his skills, there will be an increase in armaments for Earthly blacksmiths.

Around it would be a similar reason to the difference between us and the Grounds in combat positions.

So if you wear Mary's made gear, that will only lead to a strengthening of your status, and if you are likely to be targeted by the suspicion of stealing, you can hide your traits and sell them.

If we spend it ourselves, we'll have an advantage over other humans in the hunt, and even if we sell it, we'll miss a lot of money.

The advantage of stealing is so great if you don't even find out.

"But isn't that too harsh to call us killers?

"Right. This kind of benefit applies to everyone"

Nevertheless, this cannot be the only way to identify the killer.

"But some of you have an alien player assimilated to the surrounding scenery called [Camo], right?

…………

When I asked them to confirm, the eagles silently turned their gaze toward the van.

This information came with some information at noon today. It turns out that me and Phil asked the van.

If they didn't see a suspicious group near Merry's, the killer would have hidden themselves in some way.

If we could do that, we would be able to carry the gear directly instead of the item box, but this time we heard about an alien in the van who couldn't see us from around because of the [camouflage] alien, so there was something about whether or not we used the item box.

"[Camo] would have allowed you to hide yourselves and break into Mary's shop."

"... so what? Is that why you're treating us like criminals? Suppose..."

"No, there's still a suspicious part of you."

I saw Oogie shaking his head and trying to claim he wasn't the killer, and I kept saying it.

"There's another thing that could benefit you guys from working stealing. The benefit of pulling Mary into [Fenrill]."

…………

[Fenrill] 's behavior stinks in this case.

I'll line up the information we know about the Oogies.

"You guys want to draw Mary into [Fenrill]. Didn't I?"

"... you're not. Indeed, we were soliciting Mary. But what the hell is wrong with that?

"I wouldn't have said anything if I'd just solicited you. But you guys would have done a sabotage job on this store at the same time as the solicitation, right?

"Nah..."

When I asked the residents of the city, Mary's store had a terrible reputation.

The story was out loud enough to say that it was too bad for what I had just been able to do recently.

"As a matter of fact, this is what I found out today... it seems like there are people in this city who are badly talking about Merry's shop."

…………

"That's about you guys, isn't it? [Fenrill]"

"... eh"

When I turned a hard gaze and asked, the owls began to take such an attitude as wrinkling between their eyebrows and being obviously uncomfortable.

"... I wonder why I would mention that there are no such roots or leaves. You're kidding me. We're gonna get mad, too, right?

"No roots, no leaves, huh? But this must have taken some kind of testimony."

I take some paper out of my nostrils when I hear angry eagles say it.

The paper depicts a sketch of the members of [Fenrill] who are on this occasion.

I asked Phil to share the advice of Mary and the others this morning.

Apparently thanks to [Precision Manoeuvre], it's plain awesome in places like this.

"As you can see, this is a sketch of you... apparently the characters on this piece of paper are spreading rumors against Mary's shop."

And when I showed this sketch to the residents of the city, I could take testimony that the rumors were definitely coming from these guys first.

Well, it looks like he was trying to change the color of his hair and eyes and delude himself well.

I guess the reason these guys wore different clothes and hairstyles when we met the other day was because they were on their way home from doing such work.

I remember how Phil dressed at that time, and he showed his residents the whole picture of him, and he even said, "I did dress like this."

"You wanted Mary's shop to crumble. As part of the process, I circulated bad rumors about Mary's store, and furthermore, I went into an empty nest when I heard information that the store had recently been vacated. It's all about bringing Mary into the guild."

…………

"If she's going into the guild after folding the store, that's the most likely [Fenrill] with a boyfriend."

I assured the Oogies.

"You're the killers. Admit it honestly."

…………

[Fenrir] sees me as the culprit in this case. Oogie's eyes have reached such a level that you can say they are staring at me as early as possible.

To be honest, I still don't have the certainty that these guys are the absolute killers either.

But here I am.

For a reason I have to.

"... you tell me a lot of jokes. Are you going to be a famous detective? All I can say is that there are holes everywhere, and I wonder what the hell you want to do by tailoring us to the killer? Neither should Van and Mary be confused by this kid's bullshit. 'Cause in the end, all this kid said was speculation, and nothing physical evidence that we went into stealing, etc.-?!?!?!?"

I greeted the unchanging 'high heels' for the Oogie, who has been talking for a long time.

"Nah!?

"Hey, dude!?

That made Ougi fall on the spot with an HP gauge of 0.

Then a surprise starts coming from the members of [Fenrill] who were around.

"You! What are you doing all of a sudden! This is a great PK (Player Kill) act!

"Oh, I guess so. In 290 seconds, I'll be a fine PK Yarrow."

Oogie's people come up angry.

But I took it lightly.

I didn't really want to use this method, but I can't help it.

If we don't have physical evidence, we'll have to make it now.

"But instead, 280 seconds later, this man disappears, and all the contents of the item box are scattered. You know what this means? [Fenrill]"

I made a threat to [Fenrill].

Threaten that if you die, all the contents of the item box will be scattered.

Certainly not 100 percent.

Not a 100 percent chance that these guys worked stealing, or that they still have Mary's made gear in their item boxes as a hunting weapon.

But I couldn't dispel my doubts about these guys.

[Fenrir] 's attitude and behavior shaken my suspicions and made me decide to place one bet.

"Shit!" Lizarre - "

"I won't let you."

"Gah!?

[Fenrir] 's member, a monk-like man, was either trying to resuscitate an ougi or he was in the act of raising his arm, so I activated the anomaly, stuffed an intermission with him in an instant and twisted his arm up.

"So are the others. If you're going to resuscitate this guy on your own, you're going to have to be ready for HP to go to zero this time."

"G......"

Seeing what I did, the other [Fenrill] members started teething.

From the beginning, I kept my eyes open to never missing out on the behavior of a monk.

So it's a tea boy to interrupt his skills like this.

"... you've got 200 seconds"

And I keep counting in my head.

200 seconds later until the Oogie is completely dead.

How the other guys move in the last 200 seconds.

"Don't be ridiculous, you PK bastard! You think you can just do this!

"I don't think so. I guess I'll have to run when this is over."

If PK is fully established here, I'll be a criminal.

It's pretty close to out in the current situation, but if Oogie dies, there won't be any help telling me to escape.

So in that case, we have to run.

Well, no matter how much you run, you're gonna catch me sooner or later than my body's under control at school.

"Look, we got 150 seconds."

"Ku... what the hell do you want! What's in it for you to do this!

"Benefits…?"

My benefits are determined.

"It's just fun, this game about finding the killer."

"Shh, the game...?

"Oh, yeah."

I gave an abusive grin to the stunned [Fenrill] members.

"In me, it's decided you're the killers already. So this is how I PK this man to produce physical evidence. Wouldn't that surprise you?

"Fuck, it's crazy..."

The members of [Fenrill], who heard my explanation, blued their faces and stepped back.

I guess.

There can't be a detective or something that kills people to find evidence.

If there were such a detective, that would be only in a grade B cartoon aimed at eccentricity.

"100 seconds to go..."

100 seconds to go.

When I told them that, the whispers of the people around me began to get louder.

"Hey! If there's no evidence inside the Oogie item box, how are you going to be responsible!

"That's why I'm telling you. I already know you're the killers."

"Gu..."

Whatever the outcome, my behavior remains the same.

With words and attitude, when I say so, one man finally raises his hand.

"Oh, my God... we lost..."

"Buh!? What are you doing?

The man pleaded guilty in a small voice, even as his companions showered him with a voice of condemnation.

"Yes, we did..."

"Evidence?

"Wow... how about this...?

The man has taken one spear out of the item box.

Then the look on Mary's face when she sees it changes.

"... one of the weapons stolen from the store."

"Confirmed."

I listened to Mary and put on a 'Lisa Collection' towards Oogie.

"Heh... ha..."

Oogie revives only one dot of HP and breathes back on the spot.

And the horrible breath began to leak from the people around me.

"You're so lame..."

"Absolutely... well, I wish I'd been taught beforehand."

Van and Mary are also scratching cold sweats, not just Fenrill members.

Those two and Phil were explaining what I would do.

Though, I'm just as relieved in my heart as the people here again.

It would have sucked if Fenrill members had penetrated an attitude that would not yield to such a bluff.

I had no intention of doing PK at all because I was about to steal it.

Thus if one of the Fenrill members hadn't given me physical evidence, I would have packed it.

Well, even though it was packed, all I had to do then was put a liza on Oogie and run away.

Even if it's an attempt, you'll get some kind of penalty, but if you resuscitate it safely, like this one, it won't be that bad of a punishment.

But I think it was a good bet for once.

If the Oogies were the culprits, I would definitely be securing one weapon and one protective gear for myself now that the day has not passed.

I'm not really a monster who will hold onto stolen goods forever because they have legs, but if that's even what makes hunting more efficient, it's not surprising to leave them in an item box.

Besides, the item box is basically inviolable except for the user.

The best place to hide things is in the item box.

But I don't know after a few days.

I suppose I'd still be lurking some of Mary's gear in the item box now, but after a few days I've decided it's uncomfortable to use it, or it's still hard to use it on a sneak hunt, because I might sell it all out.

I can tell you that a means of coercion like this one is about the right time, like now, when the eagles that went into the empty nest yesterday still seem to be keeping Mary's gear for themselves.

... and I'm the only one who can play such a crazy detective.

If Bang or Mary did this mane and couldn't get physical evidence from the Oogies, these guys' relationships would be at their worst.

If this happened, both Van and Mary would have felt narrow shoulders in the future.

"Whatever it is, it's settled."

I look at an eagle crawling on the floor.

"I'm sorry. There's your physical evidence."

"Gu......"

And I laughed niggardly, and I made a declaration of victory to Oogie.
