Alex stared fixedly at the mission panel before slowly opening his mouth wide agape with shock.

Alex pointed toward the floating screen.
"Now let’s say I fail this, which I won’t. But let’s say if I do end up failing, that would mean my strength and abilities will all drop by half. Making my physical prowess equal to that of other Ascendant Realms!"
"Can’t you pick something else? Preferably something much easier?"
The cute little gremlin blinked.

Alex’s expression immediately froze.
"Wait, what?"
The chibi casually crossed her tiny arms and explained.

Alex’s entire face went pale once he heard what could have been the punishment had it been the system had chosen that one over the present one.

The chibi nodded happily. Alex immediately wiped the cold bead of sweat forming on his forehead.

"Yeah definitely." Alex replied while nodding rapidly. To him, losing even just one skill would be like a rich man suddenly losing half of his entire wealth. After all, none of them were useless. They were all vital and important.

Alex didn’t say anything, he just stared at the mission screen. Only four hours and fifteen minutes to make Sofia genuinely generate fifty Desire Energy without using Aura Of Seduction, his trump card or having sex with her.
The reward was certainly tempting.

And then there was still that surprise package. So far he had only gotten it once, and that was when the system mission had been to sleep with Nyx. He absolutely had no idea what could be inside it.
Which, knowing the system, could either be something ridiculously useful or something completely absurd. The only problem now was Sofia.
Alex’s expression slowly became complicated.
Now that he thought about it, the system was completely right. Since the last time with Sofia, he hadn’t visited her in a while. So this mission was very necessary.
But he had barely managed to get intimate with her that day if it weren’t for the Aura Of Seduction and the fact that her deadbeat husband was cheating on her. And now he had to somehow get her to genuinely provide Desire Energy within the next four hours and fifteen minutes.
What if she didn’t even want to see him because of that day?
He had no idea how Sofia would react to him showing up at her house after everything that had happened between them. He first checked the area to see whether her unfaithful husband’s car was around, just in case, but luckily it wasn’t there. Only then did he feel at ease, and switch off the engine before stepping out of the eye catching Lamborghini.
The little gremlin who had been lounging on the passenger seat just moments earlier suddenly disappeared almost immediately.
"Hey! Where are you going?"
There was no answer. Alex rolled his eyes. Typical! He walked toward the entrance of the house. His expression became slightly more serious as he stood before the door.
For some reason, he suddenly felt a strange sense of nervousness. Alex had fought dangerous enemies. Took down an entire gang.
Faced people far far stronger than what ordinary humans could even begin to comprehend. And he had even survived situations where his life had been on the line.
Yet somehow, standing before Sofia’s door felt strangely different. He shook his head. What was he even thinking?
He reached forward and pressed the doorbell. Ding-dong. After that he waited. A few seconds passed first. Then that’s when he heard footsteps approaching from inside. His expression immediately became slightly more relaxed.
Finally the door opened, and a beautiful, curvaceous woman stood on the other side. Her bright auburn hair fell elegantly around her shoulders, perfectly complementing her gentle features. Damn, she really was beautiful even though she was a mother of a daughter almost his age.
But was it just him or did she look way younger than the last time he had seen her? Because right now she looked like she was his age mate. It definitely had something to do with the lifespan symbiosis skill that made all his women in his harem slot age the same as him.

Sofia’s expression froze. The handsome young man she had been thinking about for so long even though she knew it was wrong, had finally come in person. And he actually came to see her. She felt a mix of emotions inside.
She was kind of happy he came but at the same time, she also hated that he came. She had a husband even if he was a cheater, and a young daughter that seemed to have fallen for this young man, yet her stupid body had been craving him since last time.
It reached a point where she couldn’t stop thinking about him, but over time it had faded. Now that he was in front of her, those stupid feelings seemed to be coming back again, even after vehemently telling herself that she would not have anything to do with the young man anymore.
