Chapter 1163: Let’s Call Them Bo Xin and Bo An An
Bo Xichen looked down at his son, then at Mrs. Bo, "I’ll discuss it with An Xi tonight."
Mrs. Bo just smiled, glanced inside, and sensibly took the two children back to the nursery.
Old Mr. Bo was waiting there, and even Wang Kegui, who lived with the Bo Family and ate idly, had become an expert at taking care of children, adept at changing diapers and soothing them to sleep.
Meanwhile, after the people left, Gu An Xi finally came out.
Bo Xichen helped her sit on the sofa, and Gu An Xi leaned on his shoulder, "Have you thought of a name yet?"
Bo Xichen pondered for a moment, "Bo Yang and Bo Yue, perhaps."
Gu An Xi frowned with a face full of disdain: ’So tacky.’
Bo Xichen looked at her, "What do you think would be better?"
Gu An Xi looked at him, then earnestly said, "Let’s go with Bo Xin and Bo Gan."
After she said it, her eyes sparkled as she looked at him. Bo Xichen initially said nothing. After a while, he reached for a magazine nearby, flipped through it a few times, and then quietly asked her, "Heart and liver?"
She gasped, bewildered, and he chuckled softly, "Isn’t it heart and liver?"
Gu An Xi was too embarrassed to speak further and hugged him backwards.
Probably a bit of coquettish behavior.
Bo Xichen put the magazine down, wrapped one arm around her waist, feeling the slenderness unchanged from before.
He spoke hoarsely, "You’re already a mom, yet here you are, being playful, and even competing with the kids for attention."
He found it really humorous that she was using the kids’ names to compete for favor, truly like a little child.
Suddenly, Bo Xichen was touched, recalling the autumn two years ago when he first met her, and remembered her sitting in the aisle, looking like a little child when he called her that.
She was still very young then, and now still the same, just as clingy.
Bo Xichen thought of the past, smiling slightly, and Gu An Xi asked him, "Uncle, what are you smiling about?"
Bo Xichen lowered his head, suddenly speaking hoarsely, "An Xi, call me Xichen privately in the future, alright?"
Gu An Xi bit her lip, shook her head, and laughed after a while, "Sorry, I can’t say that."
He couldn’t help but laugh too, considering her young age might make her unaccustomed.
Afterwards, he didn’t say anything more, just continued holding her, thoughtfully considering names for the children. As evening approached, Gu An Xi was nearly asleep in his embrace when he softly asked, "Bo Liangxing and Bo Liangyue?"
Gu An Xi wrinkled her little nose, "You’re dead set on making the kids study astronomy, with names of stars and moons. Uncle, can’t you think outside the box?"
A moment later, she added, "Either way, the girl’s name has to be Bo An An."
Bo Xichen reached out to touch her little head, saying with amusement, ’You’re at odds with "heart and liver" too.’
Then he thought it over, "Bo Xin and Bo An An, perhaps."
The brother takes on hardships to protect his sister An An.
"It’s alright, just a bit plain." Gu An Xi looked at him skeptically, then asked, "Uncle, I thought you were quite literate, turns out you’re not. If I’d known earlier, I would’ve asked my uncle to name them. He’s been doing nothing but studying for six months."
Bo Xichen thought of the Wang Family uncle, also amused, keeping a straight face, "Well, does his study have any use?"
Gu An Xi knew what he meant, glancing at him, "It’s not that easy. Do you think everyone is as shameless as you?"
Bo Professor appeared contemplative, "I thought we were quite in tune before."
Gu An Xi: ...
He looked at her, "Are you upset?"
Yet, even this kind of upset was charming... it seemed like it had been a long time since they’d had a moment alone like this, not because she was pregnant, but rather because he was too busy.
The timing was just right, only fleeting...
At this moment, Lin Shuang came over, partly to visit the adults and children, and partly due to some documents needing a signature. She visited Si Garden quite often, once a week, telling herself it was for business, though deep down she knew there was some personal interest.
There were things that clearly a secretary could handle, but she always chose to personally run over.
