When Hal asks the question, the clerk opens his mouth slowly with a dark look.

"The city offered fish caught in lakes in various stores as specialties...... Not only stores like ours, but also stores that serve baked fish when they open - but most of them are either changing their menus now or are closed."

Once again, Hal and Lunaria are surprised to hear about the situation in this city.

"Why would you do that? I remember when I used to come to this city they served some very tasty fish dishes..."

Lunaria did eat that dish in this store and it was the best fish dish she could remember.

"… it was a few months ago"

After a sad grin on Lunaria, who knows what happened before, the clerk starts talking potpouts with a nagging addition and subtraction.

A few months ago, the first thing that happened was that the colour of the lake turned thin and red.

To that extent, no one cared in particular, and we all lived as usual.

But gradually its colour grew darker and the fish that should have been swimming well were dying.

An ambition that we thought was strange to the lake's anomaly, which is the closest thing to our lives, embarked on a lake investigation.

Because it is a huge lake, we will first check the condition of the lake with our eyes.

The nagging red that was being seen at first seemed like something that made the city people feel something nasty.

I asked if there was any change on the lake surface, and I let the ship out and gradually broadened the scope of the investigation.

At first there were only reports of no change, but as the scope gradually expanded, those who somehow did not return began to appear.

In the meantime, we found out what caused everyone not to come back and yet there were those who came back.

He was a former adventurer and now settled in this city.

His story is that a small island is formed around the center of the lake.

Something magical is pouring out of that island to mutate the lake.

And that there must have been many demons on that island and they were all attacked by them.

Another story was that there was uncertain information and that some of the demons looked like people.

"I see..."

I heard the story. Hal arms up and thinks of something.

"That's what..."

Lunaria, holding her mouth down, sees the look on the face of a distressed clerk and has a sad look on her face.

"We are top notch when it comes to meat, so we can do it without problems... few tough shops..."

Her words are never about strength, but there are guests there at night.

But even though it was noon at the time of writing, it was true that this was both a blow to the store and a devastating blow.

"... I see that sounds pretty tough. In the meantime, when I hear that meat dishes are top notch, I'm going to place an order."

"Oh, yes! Of course! I'll ask for your order."

Hal looks at the menu and places an order with the clerk who returns it to me.

"Ah, me too!

Lunaria also continued as she looked at Hal and rushed to start a menu and a glimmer.

The two decided to order each of the push menus for this store while getting information from the clerk.

For a while the two of them look out at the view in a bickering manner and decide to wait for the dish.

Sometimes the shops are not crowded or the food is brought soon.

Hal chose a steak of beef, and Lunaria chose a stewed chicken dish.

"I'll have it."

"I'll have it."

Lunaria also goes on to greet Hal's words thanking him for his grace with his hands together before starting the meal.

"So, what do we do?

While eating, Hal asks questions.

"What shall we do...?

And Lunaria returned it with a question. He tilts his neck small as he chews.

"We can't just investigate. Let's just go to the Adventurers Guild in this city and see if there's any lake-related requests."

"Right! I hope I can help you with something..."

Laughing happily at Hal's suggestion, Lunaria hopes the roots are good men and can help this city with memories.

Hal, on the other hand, has been able to be an adventurer so far, and in the beginning there was something like unconscious anger over the feeling of being chronic with the power acquired and the cold manipulation from around him.

But by spending time with Lunaria and acting for her, and telling her even more about why I wanted to be an adventurer, I was once again feeling stronger about being an adventurer like the one I admired.

"Oh, adventurers need to help people in need with that power... of course they need a reward"

The thought of helping, and the fact that it's a job.

"Of course!

Lunaria also seemed to understand because these two things are more inseparable than being adventurers.

"First..."

"Yes......"

"Let's keep eating"

"Ha!"

Lunaria nods loudly at Hull's suggestion and hands on the meal.

The two of us were eating beautifully at first, but when we realized it, our hands were getting better and better and we were tasting the food all over our mouths.

"Oh no!"

"Yummy!"

It was the two of us who were expecting fish dishes, but he was tongue-in-cheek with a look that melted into the taste of the meat dish beyond his expectations.

From there, the two silently move their hands without conversation.

The female clerk earlier, who watched the condition from a place away, was fluffy and smiling.

"- Ugh, I ate it."

"I'm hungry..."

Each of them just asked for a loaf of bread for one main dish at a time, but for some reason there were more empty plates lined up than that when they finished eating.

The female clerk who watched the two of them eat very deliciously was telling the chef about it.

Then, there were a few guests, and they served a variety of additional dishes as a service.

"No, it was delicious. Please also say thank you to the chef. I can't believe there are so many dishes out there..."

"That's right! It was delicious to take!

The female clerk was as happy as I was with the two words of a full smile.

"It's so delicious with meat dishes, I really need to eat fish dishes!

"Yes!"

With that said, the two pay a fee to the female clerk and leave the store.

"- Those two, maybe..."

The clerk shrugged away the two as if the storm had left.

Maybe they'll break this situation.

Such pale expectations boiled in the chest of a female clerk.

Of course, I have no idea what they're capable of, nor do I know they're going to the Adventurer's Guild from now on.

But it still seemed like they had something.
