Chapter 15: Mysterious Letter
"Hm? They are in the wrong, and it was already mercy that I didn’t wreck their so-called association, so what right do they have to scare me?" Ni Mengxue gave a low chuckle as she looked at the time and date.
"Oh right, Mengxue, I heard your second husband is planning to divorce you." Ruo Chiwu said worriedly.
"Second husband?" Ni Mengxue froze, and a trace of embarrassment appeared on her face. She was so lost in Lu Yucai that she didn’t think of her remaining husband.

A zombie lunged at a sickly man wearing a black t-shirt, making him let out a piercing scream.
The surrounding people shuddered and watched as his body was shredded into pieces. He struggled, his eyes filled with pleading, but eventually they turned black, and his fair hand reaching towards others turned a sick green.
Xiong Tan gritted his teeth and shouted, "There is a base ahead! I can see the outline; move north!"
His team and a few refugees were kicked out of the base, Silent Knight, due to housing limitations. It was pretty common for a base to kick out its weak people in the face of saving a selective few people.
And they were the weak ones! Even after seeing their companion, almost no one reacted... it was a common occurrence to them.
His words, however, gave them the hope to continue, and soon they saw a land surrounded by concrete walls. With joyous cries, 10 or so people rushed over.
The zombies chasing behind, however, didn’t give them the time to dwell.
When all the survivors rushed near the base named Fair Shallow Land, they saw an opening and rushed inside.
To their surprise, once all 10 people entered, they saw the protective wall closing.
Xiong Tan frowned when he realised that no soldiers were guarding the place and there was only a single house.
Walking towards the room, he heard a prompt.
[Would you like to rent the room for 30 low-tier zombie crystals?]
Having seen all kinds of strange powers, Xiong Tan stated, "Are these the charges for a day?"
He could see that the condition of the room was good. Even the base had a faint grassy fragrance.
