Chapter 1488 - 673: Preparation_4
Zhou Yun knows her; she’s the kid from the house next door, only eight years old this year.
Zhou Yun suddenly smiled and said, "Thank you, but I don’t eat candy."
The little girl is called Xiuxiu.
Zhou Yun doesn’t know her last name.
Xiuxiu nodded and said, "Then do you eat cookies?"
Zhou Yun thought for a moment, nodded, and said, "Sure."
Xiuxiu then took a individually wrapped cookie from her pocket, with only one piece inside.
"My brother brought this for me," Xiuxiu laughed, her eyes curved like crescent moons, she said.
Upon hearing, Zhou Yun asked, "When is your brother coming back?"
Xiuxiu said, "He’s studying in the city, he’ll be back when the holidays start."
Zhou Yun nodded and asked, "What about you? Where do you study?"
"I study at Phoenix County Elementary," Xiuxiu said.
This place is Phoenix County.
Zhou Yun smiled gently.
Xiuxiu added, "I saw you on TV yesterday."
"Really?" Zhou Yun asked, "Was it a TV drama?"
Xiuxiu shook her head and said, "It was an advertisement."
Zhou Yun smiled brightly.
"So it was an advertisement, but have you seen me act?"
Xiuxiu shook her head.
"Mom only lets me watch one hour of TV a day," Xiuxiu said, "I only like watching cartoons."
"Alright," Zhou Yun said, "It’s okay, when you grow up, you can watch the plays your sister acts in."
Xiuxiu responded with a hum.
At that moment, a woman’s voice sounded from afar, calling out for Xiuxiu.
Xiuxiu heard the voice and said, "Sister Xiao Yun, mom is calling me, I have to go back."
"Bye-bye," Zhou Yun waved her hand.
Xiuxiu waved her hand and turned to leave with a small trot.
"The little girl really likes you; she’s come looking for you three times already."
Wen Bing came out of the house.
Zhou Yun turned her head to look at Wen Bing, smiled, and said, "Isn’t it normal that the little girl likes me?"
Wen Bing asked, "Have you decided whether to add a few scenes where friends come to see your play?"
Zhou Yun shook her head, "I haven’t thought about it."
That was Wen Bing’s suggestion.
In the script, Zhou Yun returns from the city to the countryside, living alone, it’s normal for one or two friends to come to visit her.
Wen Bing’s idea was that if this happened, they could invite one or two of Zhou Yun’s good friends to make an appearance in this play.
Zhou Yun said, "If we invite other famous actors to perform, it would dilute the meaning of the film itself."
"Yes," Wen Bing nodded, "So maybe we should just forget it?"
"But filming just me, it truly feels bland," Zhou Yun said, "Forget it, you think about it, I don’t feel like thinking, I’ll listen to you."
"Don’t be lazy; the play is centered around you. Whatever you think, I’ll film."
"No, I’m not taking this on."
Wen Bing smiled helplessly.
"I see you’ve been quite content these past few days here."
"Yes," Zhou Yun nodded, "No one’s disturbing, it’s comfortable."
Wen Bing: "Then it seems this movie is really shot properly."
"How about New Shield? They haven’t insisted on sending a producer to the set to manage everything again, have they?" Zhou Yun asked.
Before, New Shield planned to send a producer, like they did for "Female Assassin," to manage everything on the set, but Wen Bing and Zhou Yun sternly refused.
They didn’t want to be frequently interfered with during filming, like they were on the set of the movie "Female Assassin."
Forget about "Female Assassin," this film couldn’t be managed in that way at all.
It’s a joke; without a complete storyline, how could it follow New Shield’s usual practice of meticulously planning every single thing to be filmed in advance.
Wen Bing said, "They didn’t insist, they gave up; they are waiting to see our film fail."
