There are several Adventurer Alliances in this capital. Would the nearest guild from here be about ten minutes on foot?

I have no doubt the Fionas are going there.

I decided to pick a shortcut to get to the guild earlier than they did.

Use the back streets.

The back streets of the capital are unpopular.

It's a backstreet, so naturally, but I don't run into people too much.

It was surrounded by tranquillity as if all the inhabitants of the capital had disappeared.

It was not long after entering the back street that I noticed the anomaly.

I find myself distrustful of an environment that is too quiet, and when I try to get out on the surface, I realize that there is something like a thin membrane on the path that leads to the surface.

A thin membrane-like curtain that shines yellow.

Immediately perceive it as the magic of the Barrier.

Apparently, I was able to realize that it was this section that was enclosed by magic without a single human child.

Who will be the aim?

"- I guess it's most likely me"

I have a reputation for getting in trouble, and I, a hooded warrior a few dozen meters away, was staring at me from the back of the hood.

I guess that warrior is blocking this compartment. And eighty-nine, I think I'm willing to get into a rough thing.

The Hood warrior speaks out.

He shouted aloud as he pulled out the sword hanging on his hips.

"You must be Kate the Sorcerer?

It was unexpectedly a woman's voice.

He's not tall, he's the bearer of a streamlined, sounding voice.

She was the owner of a straight voice that seemed to have nothing to do with roughly darkness assault, but in fact, she doesn't seem to be a coward.

I make this declaration.

"I wanted to ask you something, and I was allowed to imitate this indiscretion. I don't want to hurt you. I just want you to tell me the truth and I want you to cooperate"

She didn't seem dastardly, but she was a woman with strong assumptions and a strong push.

I wonder why I have to work with strange women who stick their swords at me, too.

I thought so and thought I would say no, but the woman imparts magic to the sword as if she had foreseen it.

Magic Swordsman.

"Dear Left, but rest assured, the magic you impart is a shock system. He will not be slaughtered, nor will he die."

"He won't die, but he'll be scared to death, the magic of it"

"Sure, but it's okay. If you're who I expected you to be, you can't hit my slaughter."

"What do you want? You want to take me down, you want to kill me."

"I want to identify strength first. And I want to see if I can share the secrets that both sides have, and if I can carry them with me."

"- Secrets"

I react unexpectedly to that word.

The secret I have somewhere is about my daughter. Other than that, there are secrets, but there is nothing wrong with exposing them to the world except about my daughter.

Conversely, I only wanted to keep my daughter's secret through.

Does the woman in front of you know her daughter's secrets, and how far do you know them as you know them? What kind of action would I go into knowing the secret?

I was going to lighten it up at first, but that's not how I got heard so far.

You should defeat the magic swordsman in front of you and get information from her.

And in some cases, we have to deal with it promptly.

I thought so. I can put magic in my wand.

Just like her, I can only enter the power of impact.

I didn't feel the need to be able to kill this one either more than I don't have the will to kill over there, and besides, I kind of don't think this woman is a villain. I had a feeling about that.

So I stepped in to try not to get hurt.

Speeding up with the magic of Acceleration, you use the momentum and wave down the wand.

The Magic Swordsman exchanges it for refreshment.

A large hole is made in the place the Magic Swordsman avoided.

The woman who sees the sight leaks.

"That's the apprentice of the great sage, Iris Seymour. Is that magic given to your master?"

"Are you looking that far?"

"Oh, you are a wise man who lived for about a thousand years, and I have investigated you until a few years ago, when you ran away from the empire in disguise of death."

"I see, when it gets so far apart, I'm wondering why I ran away."

"I'm roughly guessing why. And then I want physical evidence."

"Then why am I asking myself, not that physical evidence? I think it would be quicker and more accurate to investigate the physical evidence."

"There are two reasons. I can't tell you one yet, but I can tell you the second."

When she said that, she had stepped in and added a line of horizontal giraffes.

Pretty brilliant slaughter.

It was a fat muscle that I could tell at a glance that I had received regular training.

"The second reason is simple. Sage Kate doesn't even hesitate to envelop this Duchy in flames if it's for her daughter. I would even take that life from the day I put my hand on my daughter. It's a foolish thing to ask someone to help you now."

"Wise. - Whether I cooperate or not."

"I'm going to have all the materials to convince you that you'd better cooperate with me."

That crosses her sword with my wand.

Splashing fierce sparks.

A unique wave of sound and magic is scattered when a weapon that grants magic meets each other.

The sight was beautiful, like an out-of-season fireworks, but I couldn't have watched it forever.

The woman in front of me feels Fiona is a homunculus.

You don't seem to have any physical evidence yet, but you wouldn't be a good opponent to leave it like this.

We have to settle early and do something about it.

I thought so and tried to cast a spell, but that also holds up.

It was this irony that came out instead.

"Her Royal Highness the Empress of the Empire has a flying personality, but thought she was a woman unrelated to cowardice, but I guess that was my overbought"

"Do not listen to cowards. - But before that, how did you know she was my empress?"

"If you look at that treasure knife, you'll see. It's a treasure sword called Tilfang passed down to the Imperial Family."

"I see, that's Lord Kite the Wise. Knowledge."

"I thought you were a coward, because you're going to do a clever imitation, judging by the fact that you're going to set up a single hit."

"What do you mean?

And, the Empress frowns. Apparently, she hasn't noticed the presence of anyone around her.

I take care to look around.

For a moment, may I show you a gap, Your Highness seems lost, but when you distribute your gaze around you, you seem to have finally noticed that we are surrounded.

I glanced at that beautiful eyebrow.

"Hey, when?"

"That face doesn't look like an act."

"What does that mean?"

"No, I thought it was a math to surround multiple people from the beginning."

"This Veronica von Miladin does not behave such cowardice"

"Then it's easy to talk about. The puppet soldiers surrounding us are enemies."

"Puppet soldiers?

"It's about a soldier manipulated by magic. It's a magic trick to soldier a doll."

"I see."

"He seemed good at magic, though."

"I haven't attended the School of Magic. I was just taught by a famous magic swordsman. So don't expect me to know anything about magic."

"Then shall we expect knowledge within the court? I think this puppet soldier is after me or you."

"- Five minutes, five minutes, is that what it is? In the courtroom, there is a glimmer of glamour. I can't help but list the people who are after my life."

"I see, contrary to its vivid appearance, the world of the court is also unlikely to live"

When I say that, I show Veronica my back.

Veronica is bewildered for a moment, but she immediately seemed to understand my intentions.

Let's call this a temporary truce.

- Do we have to do that?

Veronica said so and went on like this.

"From the beginning, I was not willing to argue with Lord Kite. I just wanted to make sure Lord Kite was strong. And I've seen enough."

"I see. So how was the magician named Kite?

"Its magic, judgment, decisiveness, impeccable. The magic, in particular, deserves special mention. If you mean it, you can defeat my magic swordsman for a single payment. As a samurai, it's a shame, but as a lady, I can honestly respect you. Turns out this Mitsuhito is never the type to hurt a woman."

"There are exceptions, I will not tolerate anything that threatens my family, especially my daughter"

"Let's remember. For now, I do not intend to harm Lord Kite's daughter. I'm just here to help Lord Kite as a wise man."

"Well, come on around there. Shall I ask? We need to take these puppet soldiers down for now."

"Understood. Two, four, six, no, eight."

"No, there are about four lurking in the ground"

"Then take on my avant-garde. I need backup and support from Lord Kite."

Copy that.

I cast a spell saying that. Even when it comes to support, the Empress in front of her is a fine magic swordsman, and supportive magic would not be necessary. I decided to attack my enemies around attack magic.

Veronica, the sixteenth princess of the Empire.

And sage kite.

Thus the two were to tag impromptu and confront the puppet soldiers.
