Chronicles of The Hardships of Komachi in The Sengoku Era

Early May, one thousand five hundred sixty-nine.

In early April, the five villages, including Shizuko's, were officially dismantled by the issuance of the Zhu seal letter by Nobunaga.

In the future, full-scale redevelopment projects will begin, from her village to the north around Gifu and south to the very roots of the Chita Peninsula.

A number of harbour streets are built around the Chita Peninsula. In addition, the harbour district and the villages along the way will be connected by road.

The roads are arranged every mile (varying lengths depending on the time and region, but one mile of Shizuko is 4 km).

This was to be installed as a landmark for travellers, and consideration was given to planting trees such as "" to allow travellers to rest.

Even more limited to the main streets, a water field will be set up every five miles and a teahouse every ten miles.

The land, including the water field, is the territory of the Oda family, but anyone in any capacity is allowed to drink water freely, and a placard has been set up to the effect that illegal occupation will destroy it by force.

Tea houses are also regulated by law to be provided at prices readily available to travellers.

It should be noted that Daoist gods had information engraved behind them that normal human beings do not understand.

The location of the Taoist god is managed by longitude.

Although longitude tends to be unknown without GPS satellites, there are, in fact, ways to know the longitude of observation points from observations of the sun and stars.

What you need is knowledge at the middle school level, tools that middle school students normally use, and later with a few observation collaborators you can do it.

Of course, there is no need to expect accuracy at a modern level, and errors in kilometres are readily made. Besides, only land can be measured, and a chronometer (high-precision portable barometer) is required to know the longitude at sea.

In this redevelopment project, Ozhang's main cities will be connected by a main road, and all other villages will be surrounded by branches to connect the streets leading to Harbor Street.

Major cities connected by main roads fall within what is known in modern times as the prefectural seat because of their size. To match that, legislative, executive and judicial branches will be placed in the centre of the city, with industrial and commercial zones on the west and agricultural and brewing and fishing zones on the east.

Military installations will then be built around the border between Minotaur and Ozhang, and near Sekigahara.

to boulders. This plan cannot be managed in a few years. Ten years, if you do poorly, it takes decades, it's just a big national project.

Naturally because it creates infrastructure from scratch, but if infrastructure development is on track, it will only generate profits.

In other words, Nobunaga himself decided to carry out the logistical and commercial control traditionally held exclusively by the temple company. Unlike the temple forces, however, he needs to repeat his trial and error.

Nobunaga has not accumulated the know-how of dominance cultivated by the temple forces over the years, and does not have the insight to deal with the problems that may arise in laying down the new system on their own.

In order to efficiently gather its know-how, Nobunaga offered all humans in responsible positions to report on a semi-annual basis, in addition to regular reports, a handicap report describing a series of flows from the cause of the outbreak to its handling and the outcome at the time of the trouble.

Nobunaga also puts reforms in this paper. Nobunaga, who uses Mino paper as official paper, drew attention to the fact that the size of the paper is fragmented and not uniform.

There is no point in enacting weights and measures unless the weights and measures enacted for what is actually used are used.

With that in mind, Nobunaga issued a "Paper Standard Decree" enacting seven dimensions, ranging from modern A0 to A6.

Of course, at the same time as the enactment, there was also a free distribution of "what is" produced by Shizuko in mass. At the same time, a policy of forced migration of villagers was pursued last year.

It may be said that one day, thirty early villagers, headed by Genichi, assembled at the entrance to the village.

"Thanks for your help so far, village chief"

Nobunaga's resettlement plan leaves the land they are accustomed to living in. It's not just the generations.

"Lord Shizuko, thank you very much for your help. Honestly, without you, we would have starved to death."

For the convenience of the defensive line, the two works were to migrate again.

Regardless, Nobunaga thought it would be difficult to talk to the two people who are mountain people, but there was nothing particularly rubbing to talk about.

"No, I just made the trigger. You've won your place by squeezing your strength, and now you have it."

"Ha, as humble as ever. You can be a little proud of your accomplishments. Well, I can't imagine the village chief flirting."

"Right. Either that or Shizuko shows up flat, cleans up the problem, and leaves as if nothing happened."

I laughed out of nowhere to see if that was a bump. Shizuko, having trouble responding, smiles and deludes herself.

"It wasn't funny at the time. Why are you such a little girl? Or so I thought. If it didn't work out, that's what I thought I'd reward you for."

"Ha, well, I didn't think I had a choice if they thought so either"

Even if it is a mistake, they have lived and have lived in this land.

That suddenly comes out a little girl like Shizuko, and the villagers can't be so easily convinced that she's the village chief from now on.

"But you have given us hope to live. You have no food problems, you have simplified farming and you have given us peace. But... now I can tell you, this has given birth to a certain problem"

"Problem? Is something wrong?

Though there have been some failures, I have not heard such failures that the plan sways heavily.

To Shizuko, who was tilting her neck wondering what it was about, Yoichi said this with an apologetic face.

"The discontent rose from part of the village because it was too peaceful. There is a very rude dissatisfaction that the village chief doesn't like being a woman..."

"Huh? I don't remember hearing any complaints about that."

"With us, I managed to hold it down with Lord Colour, but I guess I still shouldn't have been able to hold it down. While more people are in tune... But there's no reason to put this in the village chief's ear. After all, there was nothing else to avoid by moving everyone."

To sum up the story of Yoichi, here it is.

It was good until the second year, but since the third year, Shizuko has barely been involved in the village. Because Nobunaga is busy with his work, Genichi understood that he would not be involved here.

On the other hand, those dissatisfied with Shizuko, the only mayor of the village, also began to emerge. Some of them thought that Shizuko would plot to fail and kick him out of the village, etc.

Those guys and Yoichi talked many times, but ended up in parallel lines. Genichi, who thought that the annual contribution would also be affected as it is, begs Nobunaga to do something about it through color.

The result is a massive migration of fifty new inhabitants and families to the village.

Suddenly, he was Shizuko, who understood the circumstances behind Nobunaga, who emigrated a whole family of fifty people he added.

"Oh, uh, I see, that's all you pulled out of it. But if you're dissatisfied, just tell me directly."

"That's what I thought, too, because Oda said, 'If you want to do it so badly, let me do it,' and I let him move."

"Ha... Really?"

"Maybe you'll regret it by now. Oda said, 'I don't think I can do anything like Shizuko. Therefore, I demand half of what Shizuko has delivered. Half of what you said you could do. If I can't do this, I'll banish him with less than half a serving of branding."

"Wow."

I know what you're asking for, Shizuko.

Nobunaga does not say unattainable impossibilities, but demands a level that cannot be exchanged unless you are mad and hard at death.

In other words, Nobunaga makes not one easy request to the other. But this is not limited to Nobunaga.

In warring times, life is light but responsibility is the norm. Demands that seem incredible in modern senses also need to be fulfilled at the expense of life.

For that matter, I can look up even more if I have the ability to do so in return.

"The orders of the pavilion are harsh. If you have any questions, it's a question attack, and if you have any questions at all, you can't answer them properly... If you have questions in that response, you have more questions..."

"Yes. That felt when I went to plead, too. I can't get my head up to the village chief who's been following that all along. But it's always a hugging problem for you, and that doesn't mean it won't happen again. We are going to open up the future with our own hands and find a place to die, as the village chief taught us. I accepted Oda's resettlement plan."

"Well at this age, I didn't expect to cut up the village again with Yoichi"

"Originally, we divided the people of the village from the people of the mountains, lest they should be rubbed. In just a few decades, you've reached your original sheath."

They were laughing as they said that. I couldn't even feel the anxiety of going to New Heaven and Earth.

Shizuko was convinced. They're fine. Even if difficulties come to them in the future, they will surely be overcome.

"Ha ha... then it's time for us to head out. Mayor...... No, Master Shizuko, thank you so much for everything. I will never forget the favor I received from you."

"If you have any problems, call me at any time. It may not be a big help, but we're here to reward you, and we're here to rush you at any time."

They bowed their heads deeply at the same time as they said so. The villagers then bow their heads as well.

"Thank you, gentlemen. I am a happy man. That's all so many people can think of... please be well. I sincerely wish you all a very happy new life in this land."

Shizuko almost cried, but withstood it in its place, bowing her head deeply to them.

That was the last of the villages I had ever cut up, and my last duties as village chief over the years.

Shizuko drops them off until the generations are blind.

I can no longer see their backs, and after a while Shizuko also turns her legs to her own house.

As she walked, she thought it was a strange thing to be on the edge of people.

Flew to warring times due to paranormal phenomena I don't understand, and interact with people I never interact with.

At first, I used to mourn the status quo, but now I think it's a good time to slip.

(I'm not willing to make a name for myself in history. It's just that I was involved in how this warring age will change... will the Oda Shogun be completed, or will the course of history remain the same and the monumental weirdness occur? Either way, it's useless to think about how history can change now)

History is already beginning to change. Nobunaga is now actively trying to pull Manager Asai into his own faction.

Will this, therefore, stop Nagai Asai from betraying him, or will Nagai Asai betray him for another reason?

Either way, Shizuko did what she could, so she made up her mind.

I don't have time to immerse myself in her sentiments. Two weeks quickly passed after I was busy killing myself at work.

By then, the temporary residence of Nagaka, Celebration and Talent will be completed, and the temporary residence of Odd Maru will also be completed in the following week.

But they enter Shizuko's house as long as they have time. Especially if it's mealtime, the more you have to show up.

He now cooks meals for five people (Shizuko, Cai, Celebration, Talent Zone, Changkao) from the beginning.

"... you food-deprived children. Are you going to eat up the food we have?"

Even though this is not a problematic level, we need to review the rice distribution plan if it continues like this.

It is particularly difficult for Oozang rice (the rice of the Horami series). I don't know what to think, but Nobunaga sent Ozhang rice offered by Shizuko to Tokugawa and Asai, as well as Yoshiaki and the Emperor in Kyo, respectively.

I guess he tried to let the surroundings know that delicious rice was being produced in his own territory. But the results far exceeded Nobunaga's expectations. All of them are captivated by Oozhang Rice.

Usually, I want to eat this rice every day.

The beginning and end of "Give me the seedlings" such as Emperor and Yoshiaki. However, because Ozhang rice has been varietally improved to suit the environment in central Japan and, more specifically, Aichi Prefecture, cultivation in Kinki is difficult.

Most importantly, the information on Ozhang Rice is classified as military. Therefore, Nobunaga pushed forward that production was demanding and refused the other party's request.

Later, even though I said it was an advance booking for Ozhang rice, it was another story that the General and Emperor sent me all sorts of things.

It can be three food-deprived children (Celebration, Talent Zone, Changkao) who eat such tailed rice every day.

"Next year, ten people will be able to produce the amount they can cover... hmm, I guess I'll have to save a little money this year"

"Because Oda's lord has a permit system for the production of Ozhang rice. The only thing that is good about the condition of the seedlings is that it is quiet. Was it only Jing's ex-villagers who were allowed to produce?

"Yeah. That's why I made a pretty big paddy field, so I'll have no problem next year. Forty to fifty mounds per ha roughly as an average...... 60 ha in all, so maybe up to 3,000 mounds. I don't have a problem with production... but once it's all recovered, it's a hassle."

Unlike other taxes, Oozhang rice, everything it produces is recovered by Nobunaga.

Withdrawal of taxes from it is no different, but unlike others, Oozhang rice is not returned, instead 3 to 4 mounds of Gifu rice are given per mound.

In other words, if you pay 50 mounds of Oozhang rice as a tax, you will get up to 200 mounds of Gifu rice.

Fortunately, Gifu rice handed out as a trial product was greatly received by the common people, whereas Ozhang rice was received by Wujia and public houses, so a kind of residential division could be made, so no major disruption was created.

In fact, there was a fierce political rush between Nobunaga, Jiayang, Changzheng, Yoshiaki and the Emperor over Oozhang rice, which appeared like a comet.

Of course, Shizuko doesn't know, and if she did, she would let it pass with a 'leave me alone' attitude. I'm not saying I can do anything.

Nobunaga has also forgotten, but Ozhang rice is very cynical in water management.

And even if you are sick resistant, it doesn't mean you won't get sick in any way. Failure to provide accurate care for illnesses can destroy them all, just like other rice.

In short, Oozhang rice smells very annoying to grow compared to other rice. Moreover, this troublesome part is difficult for the people to understand.

"Well, it's delicious, so I can't help it. Besides, I don't get tired of eating every day."

"... well, if only you were eating all that side food. Katsuzo-kun, I don't know where you picked it from, but the guy you're wrapping up sends it to Hondo, so be careful."

Moments, the longable complexion turns bright blue. From that attitude, Shizuko understands that he borrowed several bottles from the pickle he wanted to wrap for Honda's loyalty.

"Talk to Cai later. Well, I guess I'll be using the stone kiln for a while today."

Because of the villa, Shizuko often received letters from the princesses. 90% more than a letter, though it is a request.

In it, a letter from Oe wrote a request: 'I want the southern barbarian food called Paon (Portuguese for bread)'.

It is possible to do so, but the problem is natural yeast to inflate the bread. In warring Japan, you have no choice but to make your own natural yeast.

I don't know what to make.

"For tasting"

"I'll take care of it"

Changkao, Celebration, and Talent Zo declare together in three breaths.

"You guys are close. It's the Nanban staple that I make today. Here's rice."

Europe in the sixteenth century had suffered internal divisions as a result of protests by Luther against the Roman Church (the beginning of religious reform) and the rebellion against the Roman Catholic Church (the German Knight War).

Under the influence of religious reform, the Roman Catholic Church was on the verge of losing the political power it boasted at the height of the eleventh to thirteenth centuries.

But still, the idea that bread is God's flesh and wine is God's blood has not been lost.

Most importantly, Europe would not have been a staple food except for wheat (bread pasta), even though Shizuko is mistaken but Christian influences are not.

It takes a lot of water and high temperatures to grow rice in any way, and it cannot be cultivated first in the European climate.

And potatoes do not exist until they cross from the Andes to Europe during the Great Voyages. As a result, wheat grew mainly in cold climates.

"That's right... rice, wheat and potatoes, the staple foods of the world. I wonder if we'll make something out of each."

Successful potato winter cultivation ensured a good amount of static seeds if consumed individually.

I'm pretty sure the variety is unknown but not male baron potatoes. Because the winter-grown potatoes produced fruit.

Originally potatoes are nutritionally bred plants that plant potatoes and take potatoes, and there's nothing wrong with them even if they don't bear fruit. But fruit was important to Shizuko.

In any case, there are dozens of authentic seeds in the fruit. And seedlings grown from authentic seeds, because they can come out better than their parents in terms of potato count, weight, and size.

"When it comes to potatoes, is that the round guy? Honestly, it doesn't look like something you can eat."

"Huh? I thought you had potatoes a while ago, didn't I?

When Shizuko says so, the three of them look at each other. But I don't remember all three of them eating potatoes.

"Look, stewed chicken, onions and potatoes. The three of us had a big plate together."

…… Oh, uh! Is that it? Uh, was there potatoes in the array?

Says the chief who said the point, while keeping his hands together with the pong. Did you also recall the Celebration and the Talent Zone, holding hands together in the same way as Nagako.

"I said it right...... well good. I guess bread first."

Shizuko chose raisins from some natural yeast sources.

Raisins go well with bread in natural yeasts, on top of excellence as a preserved food.

A little sour and not as dry east, but far more bloated than unfermented bread.

It's very easy to make.

First the grapes are dried and raisined, then washed thoroughly with water to remove surface dirt.

Next transfer the raisins to a boiling disinfected container and add water until the raisins are completely immersed.

After that, just shake the container about four times a day, open the lid and let it touch the air, and we're done.

When all the raisins float and the white bubbles come out, it's done.

If you have natural yeast, all you have to do is make bread.

However, because milk and butter are not on hand, make mountain bread with just sugar and salt, oil and natural yeast and flour without using them.

Cook up several pieces of bread, although the fermentation and the temperature adjustment of the stone kiln took time.

"I guess if we make egg sandwiches later, we'll be done. Potatoes are easier this time because I just boiled them in salted koji with chicken momomo meat."

It was quickly evening while I was doing this.

Thanks to this, everyone's dinner became an unintelligible menu of egg sandwiches, chicken Nambang tartar sauce sandwiches, chicken potato meat and potato braised with salted koji, miso soup and tailed rice.

However, cooking in the bread system was well received.

Shizuko has been thinking about doing an experiment this year.

Her experiments are two: 'Cultivation of buckets of rice' and 'Aerial cultivation of crops'.

Bucket cultivation is a way to grow rice using buckets, as the name suggests. Never say they are efficient, but treasure how rice cultivation works as a material that lets children learn through hands-on experiences.

Rather, the main thing is the aerial cultivation of crops.

This is also called upside down cultivation and is a way to grow it off the ground.

Benefits include not having to open wasteland to fields, but making more efficient use of space to plant and grow in conventional soil.

The disadvantage is that it requires more water than normal cultivation because of its low water retention capacity, and soil replacement work occurs after cultivation.

Still, the advantages of being able to grow crops in places such as mountain castles, where it is usually not possible to open fields, are enormous enough to counteract the disadvantages.

The best of these aerial cultivars is supposedly Satsumoto.

Typically, sugar potatoes are grown flat, but the way this sugar potato is grown on multiple shelves is through the air.

Depending on the steps of the multi-storey shelf, as many as 20 kilos of sweet potatoes can be harvested per square meter. If you feel like it, you can grow a lot of sweet potatoes in a castle that pumps water out of the groundwater.

Even if the supply route is completely sealed off after the battle of Cage Castle, some food can be secured in front of you. We can build a circulatory environment by combining facilities that process soldiers' manure into compost.

Alongside the pine trees, the aerial cultivation of sweet potatoes is ideal just in case.

It is Shizuko's experiment to examine the most efficient plan in the aerial cultivation of this sweet potato.

The best environment is that it can harvest a lot with little soil and compost, and it consumes even less water.

To find the ideal environment, he was a static child who continued to measure every day.

And a little while later, just before May, tea leaves were sent to Shizuko, who was staring at the figures every day.

Tea leaves that fall under the seasonal pattern best, but the delivered tea leaves are not matcha (dried and powdered without rubbing the tea leaves).

The varieties were divided by cultivation method, and three types were prepared: fried tea, jade dew and covered tea.

It is frying tea that does not block any sunlight from sprouting until picked. Since about three weeks before tea picking when the buds appeared, it is the egg dew that grows and picks them in overgrown cultivars (which can be covered with a blackout cloth).

About ten days to a week before tea picking, covered tea is grown and picked at a lower shading rate than jade dew.

It depends on the taste of why the shade does not allow the tea tree to photosynthesize.

When photosynthesis is performed, tea leaves increase the catechin of the tannic ingredient and reduce the ratio of theanine content of the savory ingredient. In other words, when photosynthesis is suppressed, it is possible to adjust to reduce the increase in catechins in tea leaves and increase the content ratio of theanine.

As a result, the fried tea has a good tannin and refreshing aroma, the jade dew has a sweet, rich flavour and the aroma of the unique cover of shade cultivation, and the covered tea has the difference between the intermediate taste of fried tea and jade dew.

"You've sent a lot of them. I guess I should think it was that rich."

Shizuko, who opened the lid of the kettle, said so most of all at the opening.

"Would you like to try some tea?

"Yeah, of course I will. Oh, you can serve rice and plums even if it's cold."

"Is that...? Oh...... yes, I get it. It's a cold meal, but I'll serve it."

"I wonder what it is in the meantime, well is it good? The children will notice the smell anyway, so please include Cai for five."

"Okay. Please wait."

After lowering his head to Shizuko, Cai headed to the kitchen to get ready.

The reason why she is sent tea leaves is extremely simple.

Instead of having a tea field, Shizuko signed a contract with a farmer who already had a tea field.

During the Warring States, although tea was a luxury product, some teas were as luxurious as Uji tea, and some were seen a little below.

Although Gifu has Mino tea, it is not as famous as Shizuoka, Uji, Sakayama or Kagoshima tea, which are counted among Japan's top three teas.

Therefore, if even Shizuko succeeds, it is possible to sign a contract. Above all, using Nobunaga's name, it's as easy as discussing it.

But from then on, it was up to Shizuko to talk.

While checking the condition of the tea plantation, Shizuko eventually signed an exclusive agreement with four farmers.

There is no hard content when it comes to contracts, and the tea leaves picked are close to each other's arrangements, such as preparing and nurturing the tea tree environment as instructed by Shizuko, and processing them as specified.

And since it is an exclusive contract, from the first tea to the fourth tea, Shizuko's share is as natural as ever. However, Shizuko sends food such as rice and salt to farmers instead of tea leaves.

The reason she signed an exclusive agreement with a tea farm farmer was because the fishing village made her cry 'I can't think of a small fish treatment'.

At first, I thought about fertilizing it and putting it in the field, but the small fish were not supplied in a stable manner, but rather in the city depending on the day.

Even if the fish is pressed to remove fat, dried and then crushed to make "fish meal," Shizuko, who understood that it was difficult to use, thinks of what crop the fish meal is efficient for.

As a result, they signed an exclusive agreement to let farmers with tea plantations use it.

In other words, if the fishing village had no trouble handling the small fish, Shizuko would not have been willing to enter into an exclusive agreement with a farmer with a tea field.

Thirty minutes later.

In addition to the three Keizai, Talent Zo and Nagakake, who really asked where they came from, they gathered to try the tea to Odd Maru and his educator's grandfather.

"What the hell is coming out today?

That's what Nagako asks Shizuko, who can't hide his expectations.

"… today, try the tea leaves for the tea ceremony. By the way, unlike the Matcha ceremony, which uses matcha tea, it's a very different form of tea ceremony known to everyone because it uses sudden sushi to pour water into tea leaves and drink them."

In general, tea ceremonies refer to matcha ceremonies that use matcha tea, and it is not known much about the tea ceremonies that drink tea brewed in sudden suds.

It is assumed that in the early Edo period, Ryuki Ryuki was the hidden tea that opened the Huang Dynasty (one of the Zen Dynasties).

In the Warring States era, tea ceremonies can be described as an unknown culture that is neither the object of the sea nor the object of the mountains.

Because of this, the tea ceremony in the modern era is led by three thousand households, but the tea ceremony does not exist in the mainstream and presents the appearance of herd ambition.

"Evidence from the theory, I have a set of sudden teas, so I'll drink them in order of fried tea, covered tea, and jade dew."

Shizuko hasn't studied the tea ceremony professionally, but the original idea is that the tea ceremony is a "tea hobby" that drinks the tea irrespective of the format.

So if you hold onto the three points of "don't use boiling water", "don't turn the sudden", and "don't pour into the hot water at once" that you be careful when making tea, it's fine.

It is assumed that the temperature of the water is about 80 degrees for frying tea and 60 degrees for covering tea and egg dew.

Prepare the tea leaves while adding hot water to the water cooler and cooling.

After finishing preparation, pour cold water into the sudden suds until close to 80 degrees and wait for the tea leaves to open (approximately one and a half minutes).

Add tea by doing the same with jade dew and covered tea.

"Well, just try the tea first. Then Kyung-kyu, I've been watching the chilled rice you put over there since just now, but I'll get it out later."

Celebration, who looked so evil at Shizuko's words, drank a glass of jade dew to divert the pursuit from the other two.

"Mm-hmm. It's sweet tea even though it doesn't have sugar in it."

"Taste and drink. Hmmm... it sure tastes different than the tea I drink in tea water"

"I don't know because I've never experienced tea water, but this is delicious, Shizuko!

"Yum, that's all I can think of."

"I'm tired of tea water for old people, so I prefer this one."

Satisfied that she had a good reputation, Shizuko served rice in a tea bowl, made tea, and finally served with plum.

It is called tea pickling. Even when sprinkled with white water, it is sometimes called tea pickling, but when sprinkled with white water, it is distinguished by calling it water pickling.

The beginning of tea pickling is said to have been popular since the middle of the Edo period, when guarded and fried tea was established as a preference for the common people.

The frying tea contained some flavorful ingredients (sodium glutamate), which tasted better than white water, but the common people were basically eating with watched tea (leaves grown rather than young leaves, like frying tea).

"Tea pickled, not soaked in water. There are ways to eat like this."

"But why are you serving this dish again?

"... I wonder when it was. I was making a prototype and eating it, and there were about four people who said it was sloppy or something?

Moment after moment, it was a distracted celebration, talented, changable, and odd circle of four.

In early May, a single letter arrives at Shizuko's.

The color surprised me that the sender's name was not listed and it was a prank, but for that it uses fine paper and for prank it is handled.

Though doubtful, after completing a full confirmation, I handed it to Shizuko for a final decision.

"This is a service paper. This means you're sending out a letter..."

Because of the thickness of the hand and paper, Shizuko, who understood it to be a service paper, opens the letter and reads the contents.

Thick paper made from raw materials, the basic structure is not different from that of Tsubaki paper, but it mixes the roots of yellow anemones, white soil, etc., and makes it different in strength and thickness.

This paper has been used since the Muromachi period, and because Muromachi Shogun used the service paper as an official document, it became known as the "service" paper within the meaning of the order.

"Hmmm... Hmmm... mmm..."

"Um, who the hell are you from?

To Shizuko, who wrinkles between her eyebrows and reads the letter, Cai asks terribly.

Shizuko said this without answering her question, although she felt a little uneasy about the look on her face that she had never even shown in Nobunaga's letter.

"Cai! You can use as many as you want, so clean my annex in Gifu! Oh, and then I collect all sorts of ingredients, but wait for me to send them because I scrutinize them!

Colour, who understood that this was no good, did not change his expression and shook the chop down on Shizuko's head.

"Giffoon."

"Are you calm, Shizuko?"

"It hurts...... oh, calm down, I wonder if you'd appreciate that hand down"

Seeing Colour wave up his hand, Shizuko quickly took a few steps back, sheltering her head.

After a grand sigh, Colour quietly lowers his hands. It was a sight I didn't know which was my husband.

"So who gave you the sentence? I can't honestly imagine someone Shizuko would be so excited to forget me."

"I'll say no for once, but this isn't a public service. I don't need to be public."

"Yeah, I know that. Besides, I don't think the public will bother to give Shizuko a sentence."

"Well. If you want to send it, it will be addressed to the hotel. So, who are you from... heh heh, don't be surprised to hear it. From the current Kingsguard! See, flower deposits aren't in the public house style, they're in the Wujia style. I'm pretty sure Kingsguard has been using martial arts flower deposits for almost ten years."

"(How do you know what's going on around there... doesn't make sense to ask) Excuse me, but the current Kingsguard Principal was guilty of participating in the killing of a public brother...?

"Yeah, so?

To Shizuko with an attitude who said what the problem was, the colors asked were stuck in words.

"I know more about the situation around here than Cai. But considering those bad rumors, the Kingsguards deserve to be taken in by the Oda faction."

"... ok. If Shizuko is told that much, he must be very capable."

"Well. Nevertheless, how could I have suddenly been willing to listen to you if you had been completely ignored even before you wrote to me? What can I do to think about it? Anyway, let's sum up this story and take the Kingsguard principals into the Oda faction."

Create a fist grip and Shizuko gets tempered.

Shizuko then brings the finest ingredients of his choice into the annex for Shizuko, which Nobunaga had prepared as declared.

Auntie, let's check to see if we can clean the corners of the room, and if not, let's try again.

Shizuko makes a flashy move, so naturally the talk of meeting with the Kingsguardian principals instantly entered Nobunaga's ear in Kyo.

Usually, Shizuko, who is more thorough with people than necessary, comes to the meeting with the Kingsguardian principals in preparation for his surroundings. Nobunaga couldn't even read the bottom of her belly about what the purpose was.

Besides, I didn't even tell Colour the details, I just answer, as the cliché suggests, "Kingsguard Principal will be a good force for the Oda faction".

Nobunaga didn't understand what that good power was, so it would haunt his head.

Though slightly troubled, he thought there was no animosity toward himself from Shizuko's previous actions, keeping a few sneakers between serving as escorts around her.

When Shizuko's surroundings became just a little noisy like that, Kingai's sixteenth contemporary Kingai Mae Ku and Kingai's minister and housekeeper Nagaji Jindo arrived in Gifu.

"Now is the proclamation of the dead a lie or a truth?"

That's what Mae Jiu muttered about looking at the town of Gifu.

One of the five households, the Kingsguardian Principal, had a face that created such a youthful atmosphere that he was thirty-three years old, but not uncomfortable when he was said to be in his twenties, and it was not an exaggeration to say that it was only the public servants' audacity, which entailed something of a certain style.

Previously, he was one of the best politicians in the DPRK to confess at only 19 years of age, but after Nobunaga served Yoshihiro Akali in 11, he was deported from the DPRK on suspicion of involvement in the murder of 13th Gen. Akali Yihui.

After his deportation, he resided in the lower chamber of Kuroi Castle, and when he was dismissed from Kanbai two months later, he stopped at the Ishiyama Honganji Temple on Regent National Slope.

"But... don't you really have to take what the dead man said in that dream?"

"Sure. But I can't forget his crazy eyes. I thought of my hair more than I did when I stayed at Ancient River Castle just to remember. That's why we need to have a meeting and get him into Buddha."

Nagaji's prophecy was also a breeze where it blows, and Mae Ku laughed audaciously as he mixed jokes. But Nagaji, of course, did not realize that there was a glimmer of sweat on his cheeks, nor did he realize it.

Then while sightseeing in Gifu for a while, the two take about half an hour to reach Shizuko's annex.

"... you're small"

That was my first thought a long time ago.

Shizuko's annex in Gifu is two times smaller than another Oda family minister's mansion around.

To put it badly, it seems blurry, and to put it well, it can also be said that it leaves only the minimum necessary to pay for overdecoration.

Shizuko's annex is a traditional Japanese house on the edge. Of course, some advanced technologies have been introduced, such as tile roofs.

"But not bad"

I really liked the house for a long time before I took it deep and visually low centre of gravity calm standing house.

But there's no reason to stay in front of the gate forever, and Nagaji knocks on the gate several times.

People were waiting near the gate in advance, and the gate was opened immediately.

"Welcome, Kingsguard."

It was colour that greeted me. He was not dressed for normal ease of movement, but was worthy to meet with a public servant.

"My Lord awaits you inside"

Although I was surprised that there were no soldiers of the escort for a long time before, when I nodded at the words of color, I followed her guidance.

Until I entered the house from the gate, I could not hide my agitation in the terribly quiet. It doesn't even sound like a servant's life, so much so that he might mistake it for a place disconnected from the dead.

"Shizuko, I've brought you Kingsguard"

That said, Colour quietly opens the obstacle.

Welcome from far away, Kingsguard.

"... ah, ah"

I am not a fool long before Kingsguard. The presence of Shizuko was examined in advance as far as possible.

He also knew Shizuko was a woman. Still, not a single person younger than myself did not match the figure of importance among the Oda family ministers.

He's stuck in words, but he regains his mind, greets one street, and sits in a place designated by Shizuko.

"I'll pronounce it first. The exploration of the bellies is nothing but a waste of time with each other. There's nothing to hide, let's be honest with each other."

Of course, I wasn't honestly willing to tell the truth for a long time before.

Even if I said I was going to tell you the truth, because Shizuko thought I was going to have a meeting to hide the truth. I thought a long time ago to poke there and take the lead in the talks.

But that was too pointless.

"Right. Then I'm going to go straight in. These are two requests. One is to side with the Oda faction. And I ask you to dissolve Yuko (Yushi) with His Holiness, the first son of the Pope of Honjoji Temple."

Because there's no need to hide the truth from Shizuko.

"That said, I hope you've done well far enough and tired. We have prepared a meal, so please enjoy it if you like."

When told to do so, Shizuko leads them to a guest room on the edge.

Nagaji sits on the edge facing south, sitting in the front seat for a long time. Shizuko, who finished guiding the two, sat in the lower seat in front of him.

After a glance at the previous time, she taps her hand gently to signal. Immediately open the bowl and the colour enters the room, placing the meal with the tea bowl on the familiar hand in front of the three of them.

"Ozhang is a country compared to Kyo, so I can't say it's top notch, but we've prepared the best we can prepare. Enjoy this first."

The two pay attention to the tea bowl currently placed.

At first glance, we both lean our necks in a lidded tea bowl that doesn't know what's in it.

I wondered if there was tea in it, but from the fact that it was accompanied by a wooden spoon on top of the lid, I thought it was not tea.

From the fact that it conveys heat firmly when it is lightly touched, it could be inferred that the contents are spoons.

"Ho... I've never seen a dish like this, but what the hell is it called?

In response to a long time ago, Shizuko replies with a soft smile.

"It has recently been possible to make it with tailings, my name is Steamed Tea Bowl. It's in a steamed dish featuring bird eggs."

After receiving Shizuko's valve, Nagaji opens the covered lid.

The first thing that pops into my eyes is the smooth fabric of the generated color. This was followed by black meaty shiitake mushrooms placed as utensils. A citrus-skinned product that shows a bright green color, with fish eggs and red brown.

The bright colors in his eyes made Nagaji expect delicious before he even spoke.

"It's best to have it while it's hot, but there's no reason why you should have it without a toxic taste. I'll act as a poisonous taster if you want, but how about that?"

"Not to that. When it comes to the toxic taste, someone will do it. I'm terribly sorry, but I can assure you that you won't do anything fine."

"Okay, I know it's a natural consideration. I don't intend to take this side of the spectrum."

Shizuko nods at Nagaji's offer.

Once the steaming of the tea bowl is lowered, Nagaji randomly selects each meal to redistribute.

Shizuko first eats the steamed tea bowl, checks how it is, and then Nagaji eats it. At the end of the day, time was set aside to carry on the meal with the flow of eating for a long time before.

When Shizuko takes the steamed tea bowl lid, she spoons it and puts it in her mouth.

After confirming where she had put it in her mouth about four times, Nagaji took the confirmation long before opening the lid with his gaze.

A fluffy fragrance instantly grabbed Nagaji's stomach. It has a pleasant aroma of rich stock and a refreshing citrus aroma.

I couldn't suppress my appetite even though I said I wasn't hungry, and Nagaji accidentally took the spoon and carried it to my mouth with the colored part.

"What softness...... still softer than completely boiled porridge"

There were no words to follow.

The instant you contain it in your mouth a troll and a swinging smooth mouthfeel. On the other hand, it disappears leaving a rich stock flavour in my mouth.

Nagaji carries another spoon in his mouth to an unknown texture he has never experienced before. The possibility of poisoning was always in the corner of his head, but his hands were moving against his will.

Stick to thick shiitake mushrooms. Along with the aromatic aroma of mushrooms, the juice that has become a bouncing lump of flavor ravages the mouth.

"What the hell are these red-brown grains?

Long before the lid was removed in the top seat and the contents were discerned, the question arises.

"This was caught by accident offshore. A fish egg called salmon is soaked in soy sauce and put to sleep in a snow chamber. It's a little habitual, but it's a fine food, so try egg dough, salmon eggs and teak peel together like this."

Until then, the only way to eat was to look at Nagaji for a long time.

Mae Jiu nodded silently, and he also inserted a spoon of Nagaji into the signal, including steamed tea bowls in his mouth along with pickled squid soy sauce.

Every time a fish egg bites off a slightly monotonous flavour that is tightened with a strong salty flavour, it can be bounced and exhales the flavour of seafood.

A citrus peel that pushes its raw odor away neatly and refreshingly. I recognized that this was a delicate dish that was very calculated and made.

"How's the taste? I've only said it's soft."

Nagaji, who is distressed by what his master said a long time ago.

I would like to respond immediately but honestly share my thoughts on the flavors that I cannot express in my knowledge.

"Of all the things I've ever spoken of, I can assure you it tastes the best. But I don't have the art of expressing this flavour. I don't even see any similarly flavoured foods. I'm going to start by tasting everything and playing a poison watch."

That's the answer, Nagaji once again challenges steaming a tea bowl. Different ingredients appear again after eating as far as the inside.

He frowns at an unknown ingredient shaped like a corrugated ball that exposes a bright, lukewarm surface.

"My name is Lily Root. You're right, lily scaly stems, or roots. Think of it like potatoes."

After listening to Shizuko, Nagaji tilts his neck. Nagaji recognizes that Lily root is a Chinese medicine called Lily.

Thinking of him as a medicine with strong bitterness and tannins, he puts lily roots in his fearful mouth.

The moment I put it in my mouth, the lily root swung sweetly, even though it contained slight bitterness. Sweetness, saltiness, spiciness, bitterness and sourness These are the banquets of taste that blend together and reunite.

I am deeply and deeply enchanted just to have a tongue that reveals the flavor.

If I noticed it, I took it to the last piece and was stunned that it was in my mouth, both manipulatively and to the point of a spoon.

"Unfortunately, the season is out, so I'm afraid I couldn't serve you a full cup of steamed tea, but it seems like you liked it most of all. It's that it was worth making when you were so happy. It's getting a little chilly, but why don't we have a Kingsguard?

At last, when the rushed forebearer takes the steamed tea bowl, he takes a spoonful and carries it to his mouth, wondering whether this dish will taste even better than it is now.

(I see... I can also nod that Nagaji was out of line. It is simply a dish that looks and is incredibly complete)

Steaming the tea bowl, which left only a little heat, was an exact treat, separating it from the cold cut dishes usually spoken of. Looking at the long before you mouth to make sure every spoon, Shizuko encourages you to prepare for the next one.

"I will bring you the main course when you are ready to eat"

Shizuko hits Kashiwaki. Once again, the jaw in the back opens and the colour with the basin appears.

This time the dish was transported in two parts because of its weight.

The objects currently arranged looked familiar for a long time.

"Is this a cabinet? You can have your prized Oozhang rice."

"Yeah, that's for you, too, but that's not all. Perhaps it has reached your ears, but I once hacked eels in Kyo."

That's what he talks about with a bitter smile while dyeing his cheeks slightly.

"Here is the result of that research done to eat that eel deliciously. It's called a cabinet eyelid."

Take the lid off the cabinet with that said.

Violent scents overflow the neighborhood as soon as possible. He opens the belly of an eel placed on the rice and paints the sauce and cooks it, until the rice the sauce is stained and makes a brown earth.

More pepper powder shaken from the top adds a cool breeze to the clothes.

"Enjoy it like this first"

Shizuko herself ordered a bowl of rice from her hand. The bowl offered has a fat eel and the sauce-smoked rice emits a violent scent.

When chopsticks are taken to grip without any arrows or jaws, Nagaji inserts the chopsticks into the eel and rice. Chopsticks sink in without resistant resistance to how many celebrities baked them. Put the roasted rice and eel in your mouth and chew it off.

"Uhhhhh!!!!

I didn't even have the earliest voice. No, there were no words spoken in Nagaji.

Knowing that it is inoperable, he pours in with his mouth on the bowl to scratch it with chopsticks.

Eels with plenty of fat dissolve in the mouth, releasing so much flavor that they persist with the fat, and the sweet and spicy sauce tightens the flavor.

Although the lead role is eel, it is only because there is Oozhang rice that even emperors and generals have attracted.

Inhale the eel fat and sauce, yet take it gently without compromising the taste of the rice itself, giving it a blended and integrated flavour.

The stickiness that would not have been able to contain so much flavor if it had not been for Ozhang rice, and the flavor overflowing with every bite, spreads all over Nagaji's mouth.

"Enjoy next with the flavor of medicine"

In Shizuko's voice, Nagaji returns to me.

Stare at static seeds that do not have an earliest purpose in mind, but provide an added flavor.

When he is offered a bowl with three different medicinal flavors over the plate that accompanies him beside the cabinet, he receives the bowl with a stirring momentum.

Only chopped onions can be solved by Nagaji, and I've never seen finely chopped and thin yellow and green grated like some kind of black paper. But he had his cabinet eyelid in his mouth before thinking about what it was.

"This drug flavour will be shallots, chopped seaweed and wasabi sledding. Be careful not to put wasabi in your mouth all at once because it's pretty spicy."

Shizuko's voice remained in her ears with wonder, and what was told was understandable even though she was listening.

Tastes of medicine just before eating and getting full of bellies, as well as eel fat feeling persistent.

The fat is neutralized by the spiciness of the onions, the chopped seaweed conveys the aroma of the Iso, and the persistence is pushed away at once by eating with a small amount of wasabi.

This is an excellent dish with an ingenious idea to calculate how full your stomach is and how you get used to the flavor and not bore you to the end.

If you adjust the flavor, the flavor will change a thousand times, up to the pleasure of each person pursuing their true flavor differently.

"Enjoy the last cup in a cup of tea"

That is so told, and the rice and eels that are served further in the empty bowl, and the chopped seaweed and wasabi thereon, and the tea spinning over the earthen bottle in the bowl on which the smoked pickle is placed.

My stomach creaks, and I think it's time to put the chopsticks down, and I'm once again appetized by the aromatic aroma of tea.

He was surprised that the usual tea would not make it this far.

"I was able to purchase good tea the other day, so I tried roasting (abu) as a broom tea. It's refreshing and palatable, so I think it would suit the tea pickle."

(I see... will a tea that emits a good fragrance just by simmering it will emit an even richer fragrance by roasting)

Nagaji realized many times that he had been overshadowed by common sense.

Place the cupboard eyelid, which has been pickled in tea, in the mouth again. Tea, medicinal flavour, eel and sauce, each with a different aroma but no quarrel, had a harmonious and reassuring taste.

Tea pickles stain my stomach and intestines slightly tired when my stomach gets full. If I had noticed, I would have finished eating without leaving a single grain of rice.

"Was it poisoned? No, that's good enough. I'll take it too."

Saying so, Mae Jiu takes the lid of the cabinet and fully inhales the scent that drifts.

It has already been quite some time since I finished steaming the tea bowl. My stomach hurts me just to eat fast.

As Nagaji did, first he flattened a cup of rice as vegan.

Next, taste and enjoy each type of medicine. Finally, hang all the medicinal flavors and tea and sip in the hot enough tea.

And leaks exhalation as if relieved.

"Looks like you're satisfied, I'll bring you some tea after dinner"

Speaking so, he lowers his cabinet eyelid with color and returns with a new tea bowl in the basin.

Unlike when steaming a tea bowl, a fragrant aroma rises from a tea bowl without a lid.

It didn't just smell like tea, it also smelled sour somewhere.

"It's a slightly different kind of tea, but it's a wonderful calming tea to drink after a meal. Enjoy."

Rubbing his full stomach, Nagaji put his hand on the tea bowl and sipped.

Soft tannic and iso aromas with fragrance, and finally snow (so) plum aromas of everything.

"My name is Plum Kobu Tea. The seaweed called kelp is dried and brewed with shredded tea to loosen the dried plum fruit."

After a calculated and exhausting welcome, Mae Jiu thought it was premature to evaluate a person named Shizuko.

I knew it would fall to expose my bottom if I bumped into someone who would do so much calculation from before the meeting.

If we don't move on to the deal after a while of friendship, we'll be rolled with our hands like good.

Adding friendship to that would also mean this kind of seating. Before I justified my greed for food as necessary for trading, I cut it out to Shizuko.

"Lord Shizuko, I seemed a little too anxious. I only accepted your request. Will it come true to see you again in the day?

Shizuko smiled softly and nodded when she was convinced that her hospitality had attracted good results.
