Chapter 47: HE FELT THE URGE TO KILL THEM

"Zade... doesn’t like it?" Seara furrowed her brows. She stared at the beautiful dress she was wearing and felt slightly dejected because such a lovely thing was not good for her.

"Yes." Chloe was very certain. "Come, look at it in the mirror."

Chloe grabbed Seara’s hand and took her to stand in front of a full-length mirror, where they could see the reflection of them.

"Look. You have to put a little bit of fat here and here and here also." Chloe touched some parts of Seara’s body, which made her recoil because she was uncomfortable with her.

"Don’t touch me," Seara said in a small voice; Chloe ignored it as she told her a few things about a better diet to follow so she could gain some curves on her body.

"Well, you are not ugly, but your hair definitely needs some style. This is too long and unruly."

"Don’t touch my hair!" Seara finally screamed at Chloe. She turned around and glared fiercely at Chloe as she put some distance between them.

"Okay, okay. No touching." Chloe raised both of her arms in a surrender gesture.

Meanwhile, Zephyr knocked on the door repeatedly after he heard Seara raise her voice. "Hey, what happened inside? Seara? Chloe, don’t you dare to do something weird to her!"

Zephyr couldn’t barge in because he might see something he shouldn’t see, since they were trying on dresses.

On the other hand, Chloe looked irritated because she was interrupted, but then she grabbed one of her shopping bags and handed it to Seara.

"Here," Chloe said. "If you want Zade to like you, you need to know what he likes. And this is chocolate. He loves chocolate. Give it to him."

And after saying that, Chloe opened the door and glared at Zephyr, who reciprocated the same fierceness at her.

"She is fine. You are overreacting. It’s not like I am going to eat her whole; the last time it was she who attacked me, remember?" Chloe flicked her hair, which now had been dyed red, and then walked past Zephyr.

"Don’t come back, Chloe. I mean it. Zade may not show mercy to you if you bothered his mate." Zephyr’s voice was ice cold.

However, Chloe rolled her eyes. "I came to be friends with her; she doesn’t have a friend, right? You should thank me instead."

"Scram, Chloe." Zephyr then entered the room and saw Seara was still wearing the yellow dress that Chloe gave to her; she looked fidgety and nervous. "What happened?" Zephyr asked, his voice softened when he approached her.

"I don’t want to wear this dress," Seara said as she tugged at her dress, and Zephyr hurriedly stopped her.

"Good. Change your dress inside the bathroom, okay?" He then ushered her into the bathroom after he gave her the clothes she was wearing earlier.

"Zephyr..." Seara stopped at the door of the bathroom and clutched her clothes against her chest.

"Yes?" Zephyr lowered his body slightly so he wouldn’t tower above her, because Seara would look uneasy whenever they were talking while standing up like this.

"Is my hair ugly?"

Zephyr was caught off guard when he heard the question. It was the last thing that he expected to be asked. "No, of course, not." He reassured her, but Seara didn’t look convinced.

Well, to be honest, Zephyr found Seara’s auburn hair was rather dull. She indeed no longer looked like a walking corpse after she gained some weight and her cheeks were no longer hollowed out.

But it would be better if she gained some more weight, because it may have caused her hair to resemble a withered flower.

However, based on Zephyr’s experience with women, he knew better than to bring up a weight problem with them; it could be a sensitive topic that needed a mindful word to say.

"Your hair is fine, Seara," Zephyr said. He smiled softly at her. "Zade always touches your hair, right? It means he likes it."

Seara pressed her lips together; she contemplated it. Zephyr was right; Zade used to play with her hair, and she liked it.

"But it can be better if you eat healthier food, so your hair will glow. It’s not ugly, of course, but you can make it prettier."

Only then did Seara smile and step into the bathroom to change into her clothes.

"Damn. I can’t believe one day this skill can be used like this." Zephyr shook his head.

"I don’t know who Sybill is!" Eudora was screaming and crying as she was put upside down with Brigid and Enid. "I don’t know who you are talking about! She had no friend!"

Zade looked at the three useless women in front of him and felt irritated. "Drop them," he said coldly. The warrior loosened his grip, letting their heads drown.

Currently, Brigid, Eudora, and Enid were being tied to the ceiling by their legs, in the upside-down position. There were three huge drums below them, where they would be drowned once the rope was loosened and they dove down into the drums filled with water.

After a minute, Zade signaled the warrior to lift them again, and they started crying.

"We don’t know. I don’t know... she didn’t have a lot of friends..." They cried, choking and then vomiting.

"Neriah and Eira!" Brigid suddenly shouted. "They are the only friends that she had."

However, that was not the answer that Zade was looking for, so the same torture happened again and again, until Eudora passed out.

"Put them back into their cell." Zade looked pissed. Who the hell was Sybill?

"Why don’t you take her back there?" Ace suggested. He looked relaxed as he leaned against the wall behind him.

Zade had considered that option, but he didn’t think that was a good idea; however, ...

"I will ask Jane about it." Zade then left the cell as the warriors dragged the three women away.

He felt the urge to kill them.
