Chapter 97: YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO ME
"Look, we are not trying to do anything here, but tell me, who are you to Jeremy?" Olivia asked, blocking Seara’s way out.
"I am his friend." Seara furrowed her brows at the other three women, who were standing behind Olivia. Why was it always like this?
She wondered why these women always flocked together.
"What’s your name? What family are you coming from?"
"I am Seara." She didn’t want to talk about family with them.
"Look, let’s make it easy for both of us." Olivia was trying to intimidate Seara, but she was only human, while Eudora was way nastier than her.
Therefore, it allowed Seara to stand her ground. "Sure, now move away. I want to leave." She didn’t like to be crowded like this. It gave her anxiety.
However, her reply only made Olivia upset; she held Seara by the shoulder to stop her from leaving. "I haven’t told you that you are allowed to leave."
Surprisingly, Seara swatted her hand so hard that Olivia stumbled back. "I don’t need permission from you to leave a public toilet. If you like it here so much, you can stay as long as you want. I am leaving."
It felt as if she were thrown back to the past.
Even after Brigid had graduated, she was still a senior at the school Seara attended. Needless to say, her life was hell both at school and at home. Brigid made sure of that.
"You are so bold. Tell me which family you belong to." Olivia was running out of patience now. She grabbed Seara’s shoulder.
"Don’t touch me," Seara snapped at her. She didn’t like to be touched. "Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!" She screamed at Olivia, which startled her, and she let go of her.
"Are you insane? Why are you screaming at me?" Olivia took a step back because, for some reason, she was afraid of this woman. She looked... crazy.
"What’s going on here?" Leia came to check on Seara because one of the warriors informed her that the four women who had bothered Jeremy and Seara when Leia was gone had entered the same toilet as well.
Leia chided Jeremy for not saying anything about that.
"Mrs. Sol?" Olivia was stunned to see Jeremy’s mother was there. Of course, all of them knew her. They became even more desperate to know Seara’s identity when they saw she ate together with Jeremy and his mother.
"Don’t you think you are too old for this kind of bullying?" Leia’s sharp eyes glared at each of them, and they lowered their heads subconsciously. "Move away, Ms. Brooks."
Olivia immediately stepped back, followed by her other three friends.
"Come here, my dear," Leia said to Seara, stretching out her hand toward her. "Don’t pull this kind of trick again, Ms. Brooks. Seara is an important member of our family. If you still want to look for trouble with the Blaze Company, you can try."
Seara took Leia’s hand and followed her out of the toilet, leaving the four of them trembling in fear because of the threat.
"Are you okay, my dear?" Leia was worried for her.
"I am fine, Mrs. Sol." Seara felt good, actually. She had never had someone stand up for her. Even when Neriah and Eira wanted to defend her, there was not much they could do as they were only omegas.
However, when Leia defended her and watched the four women be subdued so easily, Seara was fascinated. Now, she understood why people loved power so much.
Being Zade’s mate meant that... no one would dare bully her again, right? Even if they didn’t fear her, they would fear Zade or the people around him.
This sudden realization made Seara delighted.
She hadn’t thought this way before, until she realized that if Leia alone could silence those spoiled, rich young women, then Zade’s influence could do even more.
Somehow, it made her feel happy.
"Are you sure you are alright, Seara?" Leia looked at her with a small smile. "You have been smiling."
"Oh, I am sorry." Seara didn’t even realize that. She immediately schooled her face, which made Leia chuckle.
"There is no need to be sorry." Leia kissed her cheek. "Moreover, you can call me Mom. You are the same age as Jeremy, and it is weird for you to call me Mrs. Sol. It is very formal. You are family now."
"Oh, but..." Seara didn’t expect this. She was shocked when Leia suggested that.
Meanwhile, when Leia saw the hesitation in Seara’s expression, she immediately corrected herself. "I don’t mean to disrespect your mother, but I heard you are... adopted." Leia didn’t know if this was appropriate for her to say this.
However, Seara shook her head vigorously. "No, it’s okay for you to disrespect her."
Hearing that, Leia laughed. Leia had heard how badly Seara’s adoptive family mistreated her and also about what happened in the last three years of her life. Leia could understand if Zade wanted to go berserk and attack that pack.
Yet, they wouldn’t bring up the topic if Seara didn’t wish to talk about it; it was like a tacit understanding among them.
"Aw!" Seara staggered back when Jeremy pulled her hair.
"Jeremy!" Leia glared at her son.
"She is still my mother. You should be good if you want me to share my mother with you," Jeremy said unhappily.
Seara rubbed the spot where Jeremy had pulled her hair and watched him run away before Leia could scold him.

"I like it!" Seara told Zade about the roasted duck she had eaten that afternoon, as well as what had happened with Jeremy’s friends.
The two of them were currently in their room, relaxing after a long day. Seara straddled Zade while he leaned his body against the pillow and listened to her.
"And Leia says I can call her Mom!" Seara was beaming. "But Jeremy pulled my hair, and he said I should be good to him too."
"He did what?"
