Chapter 87
Asmoldking turned to Ray with a big but chill grin. He shifted a little on that long couch, then spoke clear into the main camera.
"Ray, bro. Let’s just start with you. The whole chat is losing their damn minds waiting for answers. That weird phenomenon you went through, all those viral videos... can you just tell it from the beginning? No filter, no bullshit. Tonight we keeping it raw."
Ray sat in the middle, leaned back relaxed. His black mask still covered half his face, low cap hiding his eyebrows. His right hand rested on his knee like he was just kicking it at a coffee shop. But inside, he felt like thousands of eyes were watching him through the screens.
"Yeah... some weird shit started happening a few months back," Ray answered quiet, voice flat. "Sometimes I can just feel something off."
Sasha jumped in quick, leaning forward a bit. Her tight outfit was doing a real good job showing off her curves — hard to ignore. Ray caught a whiff of her sweet perfume.
"Like what though, Ray? In that video that had everybody shook, they said you could sense weird phenomena before it even happened. Can you go into more detail? Or you keeping it secret?"
Luna, sitting right next to Sasha, chimed in with a more flirty tone. She crossed her legs, her short skirt riding up a little. "Yeah, for real. Don’t be stingy with the info. We’re all curious as hell. Especially since they calling you the ’chosen one’ or some shit. That true?"
Ray glanced at them real quick from behind the mask. Inside he was already feeling hot. These two fine girls were sitting way too close, bodies looking way too good, and the way they talked... like they were trying to throw him off on purpose. But he stayed cool. Just a small smile showing in his eyes.
"Not no chosen one. I’m just a regular dude. Maybe it’s all coincidence. Or... maybe something’s actually ’arranging’ it. I try to use this sensing thing to help people when I can. Other than that, I don’t really know either."
Asmoldking nodded like that answer was about to make the chat explode again. He peeked at the side monitor real quick.
"Chat going crazy, bro. Some saying it’s ’devil’s work’, others calling you an angel. And why you wearing the mask now?"
Ray laughed a little behind the mask. "Ah yeah, I forgot to take it off, hahaha... my bad." He pulled the mask off. "’Cause I started worrying too many curious people would start messing with my everyday life."
Sasha laughed sweet, then straight up touched Ray’s arm without any shame. "But in the videos you looked tall with a nice body. Bet a bunch of girls were dying to see what your face looked like under that mask on the way here."
Luna jumped in too, voice lower. "Yeah. I’m also curious about your relationship situation. They saying you dating some older, pretty mature woman?"
Ray felt his blood pressure rising a bit. These two were too close, too flirty, and their bodies way too tempting. In his head he was already picturing some wild shit. But he forced himself to stay calm. This was live. Hundreds of thousands of people watching.
"About relationships, sorry that’s private," Ray answered short. "I’m not a model. Not a celeb either. I’m just a regular guy who happens to sense weird phenomena sometimes, so relationship talk probably ain’t that important tonight. By the way, y’all two looking like the real stars tonight."
Asmoldking laughed hard. "Damn, Ray flirting back now. Chat saying ’smooth as hell bro’."
The chat really blew up. Comments flying by so fast you could barely read them.
"Mask probably so he can stay mysterious lol XD"
"SASHA LUNA CHILL GETTING SO CLOSE, RAY GONNA GET TEMPTED"
"DEVIL’S WORK OR ANGEL? VOTE"
Ray stayed quiet for a second, letting Asmoldking run the show. But inside he was starting to feel uneasy. These two girls didn’t just show up to make the stream more fun. There was something else behind those sweet smiles. Either sponsors told them to act like this, or they had their own agenda.
Asmoldking spoke again, voice more serious now.
"Aight, Ray. One more question the chat keeps asking. You never mentioned that you helped people who were basically ready to give up on life. Do you feel like this ability to sense weird phenomena only came ’cause you like helping people?"
Ray took a slow breath. The image of Dyren and that black car from last night popped back into his head. Now people were starting to treat him like the "chosen one."
"I was just talking, man," Ray answered quiet. "Sometimes people just need somebody to listen. Sometimes they just need one sentence that wakes them up. I don’t got superpowers. I’m just... lucky to be in the right place at the right time."
Sasha and Luna looked at each other. Their smiles changed a little this time. Not so flirty anymore — more like... interested.
But Ray knew. This was only the beginning. The podcast wasn’t even thirty minutes in and the chat was already losing it. Tonight was gonna be long. And he had to be careful not to let too much slip.
’Cause the more people knew, the bigger the chance that the "weird phenomena" would come looking for him instead.
Asmoldking smiled wide at the camera.
"Aight. Chat ready? We continuing. Next question... from Luna."
Luna turned to Ray, her big eyes sparkling under the studio lights.
"Ray... if you could choose, would you rather go back to living normal again? Or... would you keep this ability to sense weird phenomena, even if people start coming after you?"
Ray went quiet.
That question hard to answer than he expected.
"I... dunno how to even answer that," Ray said. "But if I can actually feel it coming and help keep people from getting fucked over by whatever this phenomenon is... I kinda wanna keep this ability."
Ray was dying laughing in his head. ’The fuck is this? Me turning into the good guy now? I swear to god, this is what it feels like straight-up lying to hundreds of thousands of people hahahaha...’
Asmoldking nodded, then kept going but in a more serious tone.
"Chat’s going crazy again, bro. But this is one of those questions everybody keeps asking. You said on our old podcast that this weird phenomenon could hit on a global scale. Hell, you even mentioned feeling super dizzy and dead tired during that mass butt-slapping shit that happened in gyms all over the world. So now... can you actually warn people globally? Or were you just passed out last time?"
Ray swallowed hard.
"Maybe I couldn’t back then," Ray answered quietly. "But now that people actually know who I am, I’m gonna try to warn folks. ’Cause I can’t dodge it myself if that phenomenon goes global."
Sasha jumped in right away, voice a little flirty but her question still sharp as hell.
"What if this is like some kind of mind-bending power? Like global range or just a few miles? But what’s creepy is none of us remember what actually happened during that weird phenomenon moment. It’s like our memories got overwritten with something else."
Ray glanced at Sasha real quick. In his head he was thinking, ’Damn, this girl’s smart too.’
"Could be," Ray replied flat. "But I can only really tell when the phenomenon’s about to hit. As for the mind-bending shit or whatever, I can’t really judge that."
Asmoldking, that bald podcaster dude, started grinning like crazy. He knew this was about to get even spicier. Chat immediately exploded:
"SO WHO THE FUCK IS BEHIND THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON?!"
"SASHA’S SMART AS HELL, RAY’S SO CHILL ANSWERING"
"Yo start talking about that fire esper dude. They’re saying he’s the new prophet or some shit..."
Asmoldking, that bald podcaster dude, is still grinning ear to ear while watching the chat blow up. He starts bridging into the next bit with a more hyped tone, throwing in a little seriousness so he sounds pro.
"Chat’s going absolutely feral again, bro. But we’re stepping into some deeper supernatural territory now. Global phenomena, straight-up mind-bending stuff, esper powers... all this got people wondering what the hell’s going on behind the curtain. And now—without giving Ray a heads-up beforehand, just to keep it spontaneous—we’re bringing someone on live. A special guest who’s about to crank the heat way up on this convo."
Ray shoots Asmoldking a quick side-eye, already suspicious as hell in his head. ’What the fuck is this? I didn’t get any briefing or nothing, bro.’
Asmoldking keeps rolling, gesturing at the camera, voice picking up.
"Let’s bring this special person on. She can grow plants straight out of nothing. She even claims she’s God’s messenger sent to free all the cows suffering just so we can turn ’em into burgers. Straight-up vegan prophet, bro. The guy who’s gonna save every single cow from ending up as patties."
Ray’s this close to bursting out laughing. Mouth’s already halfway open but he catches himself and holds his breath. Sasha, sitting right next to him, is struggling hard too—shoulders shaking, face turning red. The other girl in the studio’s doing the exact same thing—lips pressed tight, hand over her mouth, eyes watering from holding it in.
Then suddenly—Ding!—someone joins.
Asmoldking’s voice jumps up, super excited.
"Aight, here she is..."
