Continental Hero Senki

Imperial Army Conference of the Troika

The clock needle will return until 2 p.m. Jan. 3.

On this day, the Emperor of the Eastern Continental Empire, Ivan Xue, urgently summoned the Three Secretaries of the Imperial Army.

The Minister of Military Affairs, who heads the military junta, the Commander-in-Chief of the Command Department, who heads the Command and Strategy, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Army Operational Unit, who heads the Frontline Command and Tactics. Together these three are called the "Imperial Army Troika", and a meeting where those three gather under the Emperor, the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army, to discuss the basic strategy of the Army is called the "Imperial Army Troika".

In the meantime before Ivan Xue arrives in the conference room, the Third Secretary encourages the gathering of information in the name of chatter.

"So what exactly is the matter with His Majesty the Emperor? Has His Excellency the Minister of Military Affairs heard anything?

It was Count Rokosovski, commander-in-chief of the Imperial Army, who made that statement. The rank is Marshal.

"I haven't heard the details either. But from what I can tell, it will be the next Silesian conquest."

"I know that. I'm asking for specifics."

Rokosovski was outraged when the military minister, Marquis Ladygel, replied in a slightly throwing mood. Rokosovski is an imperial person, and that hits the political enemy of Ladygel, a Sergei. The rank of the army is higher in Lokosovski, but the rank is lower, and the military minister is also at the top and the commander-in-chief at the bottom among the three secretaries. For this reason, these two collide with each other whenever they face each other.

It is the Marquis of Creek, commander-in-chief of the military department, who enters between those two and arbitrates the oral quarrel. The rank is senior general. I am neutral on the matter of imperial succession. He wants to ride a winning horse, you can call it that.

"Not in the words of the Minister of Military Affairs, but I also know"

"Well. How much do you think, Your Excellency?

"Ten, eighty-nine, it would be personnel of dispatched troops"

"I see."

Rokosovski was so convinced, but in fact he didn't think so either. I pretended not to know because he already knew what the HR was about. It is inevitably difficult to pretend not to know the information that only he knows, and he was outweighed by the fact that he brought the topic out of him.

Most importantly, the other secretaries have assumed that Rokosovski knows the personnel content.

After a private conversation, Emperor Ivan XXI entered the conference room. The Third Secretary shall stand and salute. When the emperor is seated and urges the three secretaries to take their seats, that signals the holding of the meeting of the three secretaries.

"It was nothing else that got the Third Secretary together today. It was convened to discuss the crusade between the traitors, the specific personnel and the operational plan for this purpose, which they call the Kingdom of Silesia, which will soon be transferred to execution. I expect everyone to have a free discussion."

The agenda put out by the emperor was as the three secretaries expected, and they tried to read the script prepared in their brains as it was. The first person not always at this time to ask to speak was the Marquis Ladygel, the military minister, who is the de facto head of the army.

"I know that as a petty officer, the start date and time of the operation should be the dawn of April 1. Involve the morale of the soldiers at low temperatures if not before then. On top of that, I would like to hear His Majesty's regards on the selection of those who command the soldiers."

Since this Silesian expropriation is the life of Ivan XI, and yet his own political decision, it is self-evident that the operational plan and personnel rights are held by Ivan XI. Therefore, instead of disputing the views of the emperor by wielding his own powers in an extraordinary way, the military minister recognized the emperor's discretion over the general plan and sought to exercise his own rights to the satisfaction of the emperor.

Ivan VII was also aware of the intention of the Minister of Military Affairs. But Ivan Xue is merely an emperor and not a military expert. He unfortunately did not have enough originality to make detailed operational plans and staffing.

"I would like the specific operational plan to be decided after close discussion with the Commander-in-Chief. But I'll make up my mind about the candidates for division chief and above."

"So can we teach you about human resources? Based on this, we will formulate an operation."

Thus the formation and size of the Silesian Crusaders were determined.

Next, January 4.

The Minister of Military Affairs, Marquis Redigel, was in talks with Count Benkendorf, Secretary of State for the Emperor, in the Office of the Minister.

"Commander-in-Chief of the Crusading Army, Marshal Olsbeck Rokosovski, Deputy Commander Marshal Millii Bakunin, Senior General Warelli Popov… Most of the high-ranking officers from the Legion Commander to the Division Commander are occupied by non-Serbian nobles and military officers on all sides."

Benkendorf read an overview of the Crusaders handed to him by Ladygel, and was stunned, then turned back. Although Benkendorf was not a military man, his candidacy was so skewed that even he could fully understand it.

"The fact that Rokosovski directs directly probably means he also participated in this personnel development. But the problem is the scale of mobilization."

"Are there at least 40 divisions in the Crusaders' regiment?"

"The strength of the Royal Silesian Army is usually 15 divisions. In accordance with the law of triple offense, well, you're right in a way. But if you move so many people, it's imperative that your finances lean."

"The 40 divisions are less than 10% of the strength of our empire, but still?

"Even if I say 40 divisions, this is a story limited to frontal power. The total number of troops mobilized, including troops for replenishment and replenishment, reserves to be lowered backwards and non-combatants, will probably not drop 600,000."

"600,000 ethnic moves… come on, it must be spectacular"

Benkendorf shrugged his shoulders and laughed at this situation. Given the finances of the Eastern Continental Empire, it's not a funny topic.

"So, what will His Excellency the Minister of Military Affairs do? This is all the force. No matter how strange Silesia is, there's nothing we can do about it."

"I can only hope the Silesian army works hard. I don't think we can stop the crusade now. If this were to happen, it would be somewhat risky, but I should have just assassinated him."

"It's too late now, and it's my luck that that one is more stubborn and long-lived than I thought. Now let's pray and think about what to do when you win."

"Right. That's where I'm gonna talk to you, Count."

"What is it?

Ladygel grinned spookily, "consulting" Benkendorf, who is also the chief of the Imperial Administration for the Maintenance of Public Security.
