As High Counsellor

Jan 15 at 0: 30 PM. The meeting between Princess Emilia and Chancellor Carroll is over.

Maya, a deputy who was waiting with the carriage in front of the Chancellery, was relieved when she confirmed that Princess Emilia had come out of the Chancellery satisfied with five bodies.

"Maya. Thank you for waiting."

"No, it's fine. How was the talks better than that?

"It's good. This one was right. Probably fine."

"Um... are you sure you're okay? Still anxious for me..."

"As I said when I went, I'm fine. Your uncle doesn't work in politics at these times."

Princess Emilia gets into the carriage gracefully, saying so. Maya also follows it and evacuates from under the cold sky into the carriage.

"Then Maya. I'm sorry, sir. Shall we go to the next destination?"

"Next?

"Yep. The second consecutive negotiation (double header) is a little tiring, but it's cheap if you're too tired to protect Silesia."

From Maya's point of view, Princess Emilia looked a little rather tired. I don't think the princess has been rested here lately. However, I was certain that it was a situation where I could not rest with my wife. Let's leave it to Princess Emilia for today and force her to rest even tomorrow. Maya thought so and didn't put it in her mouth.

"... so, which way?

"Once we return to the Palace of Sages (Philozov Palace) and change into military uniforms. Then we'll go to the General Operations building."

"Okay."

Maya grasped the intentions of Princess Emilia, no, High Counsellor Emilia. Emilia has just said that she will "negotiate" now. That's to say you negotiate with someone at General Operations. And it would mean bargaining with the best human being in that headquarters building.

This means that the Chief of General Operations, a high-ranking figure in the Royal Army and chief officer of the military ministry, is the next negotiator.

Arriving at the Sage Palace, Princess Emilia did not go straight to her chambers, but met her father, or King Franz, once.

Maya can't be present at this meeting, either. No matter how unwavering the friendship between Maya and Princess Emilia is, it will not come true to see it before the king, the supreme power. Maya was waiting outside the king's office during the meeting. Although I hear voices from within from time to time, I can't figure out what they are.

The meeting between the princess and the king ended in about 20 minutes.

The princess dropped back into her room after the interview, where she changed into military uniform. It's not combat clothes, it's uniforms. Maya, as usual, helps the princess change her clothes and get to herself. Usually it's left to the Kingsamurai, but the princess also had a request to change clothes in casual conversation with a trusted friend, and Maya worked like a Kingsamurai. It would be humiliating if a normal noble lady were to imitate a nearest samurai so much as a royal, but Maya doesn't care otherwise.

The Princess's body is skinny, to put it well, and flat, to put it badly. I can't even say she's that tall, and if she doesn't say anything, she doesn't look roughly military.

Just once you put your sleeves through your uniform, strangely, it gives you the atmosphere of a female commander of war. A shiny blonde handed down from her late mother claps at it.

Having completed herself, Princess Emilia walked out with that outfit and the perseverance she deserved for her identity.

"So, what were you and Your Majesty talking about?

On the road to the carriage, Maya asked rather. Keep your voice down so that no conversation can be heard by a Grand Duke person who may be within the courtroom.

"Let me talk to you."

Princess Emilia replied with a smile. That was a beautiful smile the princess deserved, but Maya, who had followed her beside her for years, knows the true meaning of that smile. The smile the princess has just shown is her face when she does something wrong. In a vulgar way, it is a "little devilish smile".

"Hmm. What?

"It's no big deal. I'm going to see the Chief of General Operations, but I was just saying, is there anything I should be aware of?"

In other words, she used a royal identity. Not to be praised, but it's a necessary measure for the princess to pass her own opinion, the deputy thought. But there is one condition to be determined to be this "necessary measure".

"Don't do that too much. But many people don't really think that Princess Emilia holds the position of High Counsellor."

"I know. That's why I'm trying to do something I'm not ashamed of in the name of the High Counsel."

"What do you mean?

When Maya asks that question, the line arrives at the carriage. Maya tells the royal palace where to go, and Princess Emilia boards a carriage one foot away.

When he confirmed that he had put the two of them on board, he slowly set them off without rocking the carriage.

"Maya. Do you remember Mr. Yuzef's tactical class?

"... more or less"

Though Maya replied so, she is a better grader in terms of seating. Whether that's for a subject called tactics or not, it was a peasant cadet named Yuzef Waresa who supported that tactical score.

"Mr. Yuzef's tactical classes were more interesting than what the teachers at the cadet school talk about. Thanks to you, I've been thinking about this operation."

"Operation, is it?

"Yep. I'm about to escalate the operation to His Excellency the Director General."

"For that, did you use Your Majesty (...)?

"I used it, and people don't like to say it, but it's generally there. But you only took the steps necessary to meet His Excellency the Director General. Normally, however, there is no way the Major will be able to see the Director General. It's up to me to see him and see what the Chief will do."

"… Now I ask you to excuse me. What would it be like to say Major Emilia (...) 's proposed operation?

"Okay. Let me explain."

Major Emilia presented his magnificent draft of the operation to Maya in a carriage to General Operations. The proposed operation is already on a good scale to say "strategy" beyond the scale of the operation, and Maya forgot to shut her open mouth for a while. While Maya regained her sanity praised Major Emilia's proposed operation, she made her own amendments and opinions everywhere, and it was adopted.

And the carriage arrives at General Operations.

---

2: 10pm.

Major Emilia, the High Counsellor who arrived at the General Operations Headquarters, showed a written statement at the reception. It was in writing ordering immediate permission to meet with the Director of General Operations in the name of King Franz Silesia. It would have just been laughed at and ignored by the nose if this was a written document brought to it by ordinary people, except for the story if it was the Major, the High Counsellor and the Princess who brought this.

The receptionist checked the writing and the king's signature and the face of Kokoji and Major Emilia more than 10 times, and when he was convinced that all of them were official and authentic princesses, he allowed a meeting with the General Manager. I had to allow it more than that.

Major Emilia knocks on the door to the General Manager's office and enters the room waiting for a reply. Among them were Marshal Morris Rubinstein, Head of General Operations of the Royal Silesian Army, and Lieutenant Colonel Harry Rosinski, Deputy Head of Headquarters.

Marshal Rubinstein is 64 this year. Old-fashioned Short This old man is not interested in intracourt struggles. Because I think I'm dead by the time I settle down no matter what. It has therefore been determined by both the Kings and Grand Duchy that there is no harm, and he holds the present position.

"This is High Counsellor Major Emilia Silesia."

"... um. Just hang up."

In this short exchange, Rubinstein understood that she had met not as a princess but as a major, and decided to treat her not as a royal but as part of the lower. Lieutenant Colonel Rosinski also guessed the Marshal's heart, and he also decided to respond to her as Major Emilia.

When Major Emilia sat down, Rubinstein suddenly got to the point without chatting about anything in particular.

"Unfortunately I'm busy. So, Major, I want you to do it quickly."

"Okay."

Major Emilia told the Marshal what he told Maya in the carriage while modifying the part pointed out to Maya. Marshal says he was interested in it, stunned again, and surprised.

In the end, Marshal Rubinstein's wish to "promptly" was not received, and this discussion became a long stretch that lasted two hours.

4.30pm. It was already dark outside General Operations, and the moon was gleaming brightly.

"So, how was it?

"That's five fifths. They'll consider it once and for all."

"Hmm. Isn't it good that the odds are five minutes?

"Yep. I'd like to pull it up in about eight minutes, if possible."

When the Major said so and smiled, he couldn't stand the cold and jumped on the carriage.

This is how the long day for the two finally came to an end.
