Continental Hero Senki
Empire and public opinion
Ostmarc Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented at 9 a.m. on April 10.
On April 1, 637, the Continental Empire launched an act of aggression against the Kingdom of Silesia.
Around 10 a.m. the same day, 100,000 Imperial Army and 80,000 Royal Army clashed in the Zalesier Plains in the south-central part of the eastern border of Silesia. By the resolute battle of the Royal Army, the Imperial Army suffers defeat, 100,000 casualties and massive damage. The damage to the Royal Army is minimal.
No official announcement has yet been made by the Empire, and the Royal Government.
Count Roman von Linz, Imperial Minister for Foreign Affairs

What we call "public opinion" is an important political element that no one can ignore, no matter how authoritarian it is. Regardless, we have to have less influence than democracies like Japan in previous life, but still it's not good to ignore them. Especially in multi-ethnic championship states like Ostmarc, policies that ignore public opinion and public opinion trigger wars of independence and revolutions.
So the Imperial Heads of State and bureaucrats continue to hold their heads every day. Thank you, sir.
Now, until before the Ostomark Empire made the announcement above, only information on the southeastern front close to the Ostomark border was conveyed on this Syresian war situation. That information did not come by the official announcement of the Imperial Foreign Ministry, which was, to say the least, a rumor that could put that much credibility.
Public opinion within Ostmark broke into two parts, as the rumors that had been circulating were "Yaroswav side, Royal Army struggle".
One is easy. "It's the same anti-Silesian alliance, so let's take a ride and take it somewhere delicious" theory. Once you have the Duke of Krakowski, close to the Ostmark Empire, your nostalgia will surely warm up. It is the wealthy, aristocratic, bureaucratic and other vultures of the Empire that form this public opinion.
But the Imperial Government is not willing to do what it is. Marquis Coudenhoff, Minister for Foreign Affairs, who wants to form an alliance with Silesia, is at the head of it.
Another public opinion is the "somehow the Eastern Continental Empire swells" theory. A minority opinion, in one way or another, but one that is common to those who live near the border with the Eastern Continental Empire or come from that region. With the momentum of defeating Silesia, I am wary that Ostmarc will also be destroyed as it is. However, it is also said that it may be difficult to pass through the centre because it is the opinion of the general public with little political influence.
What would the Imperial bureaucrats look like if they found out that the Marquis of Coudenhoff secretly supports this theory? It is a sight
Anyway, this was the public opinion of the Ostmarc Empire until April 9. But this public opinion changes after the official announcement by the Foreign Ministry just now.
First, the Eastern Continental Empire threat theorists could not disappear. "Is that it? Maybe the Eastern Continental Empire is still a miscellaneous fish, right? 'Cause I thought so? It's good to be swallowed, someone in the umbrella of a great country.
I think the number of hitchhiker warriors has rather increased. "All you have to do is stab the flank of the exhausted Royal Army and take it somewhere delicious! The Eastern Empire and the Miscellaneous Fish, so buying anger won't be a problem! Maybe I can sell you a favor!" or something, I guess. Exactly the outside road.
And a third public opinion was formed. Still a minority, but the more victories the Royal Silesian Army stacks up, the bigger this move will be.
That is the "Alliance with Silesia, and then also involve other countries to create an anti-Eastern Empire Alliance" theory, abbreviated as "Alliance Theory".

11 April. I asked about the public opinion when I had an information exchange (date) with Mr. Fine at the newly opened coffee shop for the low-income segment, Rainhouse (Regensylm).
"I am sure that the views of the militants have grown, and His Excellency the Minister for Foreign Affairs said that it would be difficult to contain it. But it would be better than forming a fourth opinion."
"Fourth public opinion, is it?
Mr. Fine, as always, orders tea and proper baked confectionery. As for the flavor, Mr. Fine said, "If Lily (Lilium) is 100, the rain lodging (Regensylm) is 70". That's okay. The price here is 30% off, and I can't tell the difference with the first flavour!
"Yes, simply put, 'We could have made it into a small, weak country called Silesia, so let's bring the power of the nation together and sell the fight to the imperial government.'"
"So you mean the luck of independence"
"Right. You don't have to go that far to demand more autonomy."
There is one reason why the Ostmarc Empire can bind 10 peoples. Thanks to what I call a mighty enemy: the Empire of the Eastern Continent. As long as that country has power, each nation will stop making noise about independence thinking, "If you don't get into the Empire's umbrella, you'll be eaten by the Eastern Continental Empire". Besides, Ostmark's law stipulates that "the people are equal in the name of the emperor". … although the wealthy, the centers of power, and the aristocracy seem to be biased against some peoples.
Still, the Ostmarc government is also concerned to ensure that each ethnic group does not beep up by force, so nothing would have been okay for the next 100 years.
So, what happens if this war is won by Silesia by some mistake?
"If Silesia wins, it will probably be the noisiest...... no, it is the inhabitants of the old Silesian territory who are already making noise"
"I guess."
Old Silesian territory, which was taken during the Second Silesian Split War, has many inhabitants, natural but of Silesian descent. It's good to boil down to a Silesian victory in this war, but if you advertise to bring in the Royal Army with too much momentum......
"As it is, it will only be a tragedy for our country, for Silesia and for the former Silesian people"
"Yep. Because Silesia can't beat Ostmarc, and if Ostmarc is stirred up by the fire of the independence movement, it affects other peoples."
And some of the old Silesian inhabitants will be dedicated to the human pillar. So don't stir it up, okay? Don't start an independent movement, okay?
Ethnic issues can move with radical emotions, ignoring national interests and staging. Emotions matter, but there's an appointment here too...
"So, what do you think of the great Marquis Coudenhoff?
"I don't know if it's great, but the Marquis Coudenhoff can't do anything about it."
Oh, well. He's the Foreign Secretary, isn't he? All the Marquis can do is diplomacy and the management of the territory the Marquis has. The FBI is also an external intelligence agency, not an internal secret police department.
Will the problems around here be in the sphere of the Home Secretary and the rest of the army that can exercise its strength?
"But we can put pressure on other provinces, right?
"You can. It's not pressure, it's bait."
That's a terrible way to say bait.
Hmm, what kind of food do you feed the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Military Affairs? Would it be authority, budget or personnel? Oh, no, minister. Is it okay to bait or intimidate individuals? It's an authoritarian state, and pressure from the emperor seems to work.
"Well, that's not something we should discuss right now. I'll be ready, but as things stand, we don't know how the war will fall."
"Right."
Perhaps it would be easier for Mr. Fine if Silesia lost first.
I'm not willing to lose, though.
Incidentally, thanks to an official announcement by the Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Silesian Treasury bonds surged for a time. Perhaps it was a distraction or something that came to mind behind Mr. Lisel's head that he was taking a bath of gold coins. It should never be about puberty. It should be.
