Marinovska case

The reports that Sarah Marinovska had been arranged for his nomination were brought to the office of the consular governor of the Duke of Krakowski immediately.

Colonel Emilia, a Duke's military inspector and her best friend, did not believe in this news. Instead of saying that, I never tried to believe it with my ears blocked. The information that arrived under her is all the more so if it comes to "Major Marinovska, arranging a nomination on charges of attempted assassination of the princess".

But when Captain Yuzef Waresa, his direct subordinate under that Emilia, came to report a similar incident, he was furious at the information and against a man named Yuzef.

"Mr. Yuzef! I'm disappointed you're making such a bad joke!

If I were an ordinary man, I wouldn't have been able to hear this word and stay calm. But her subordinate, Yuzef, dealt with the matter so calmly that it was cruel to her.

"Colonel Emilia. I can't afford the situation enough to make a joke. As a result of this, I would like to ask the Colonel to perform his duties as a military inspector."

……

Emilia gradually regained her seemingly calm. That was sometimes more ruthless than Yuzef needed, but more than that, because I saw his fists tremble in detail.

It was Yuzef himself who wanted to leave it to his anger to arouse and scatter.

"... I said boring things. Forget it."

"No, it's okay"

Yuzef's words are still cold. With the exception of his trembling fist, he was there to deal with things calmly.

…… Mr. Yuzef, will you tell us the details of the matter? "

Emilia also tried to listen calmly, imitating Yuzef. I tried to face the words of my men, who would now be spoken, without cowardice.

But what Yuzef said is something else.

"... I have a visitor. I'm sending you to the next reception room, so please meet me as soon as possible."

"No, now..."

"You should meet him. 'Cause I'm more of a person with detailed information about this case than I am."

…… Who the hell is that?

In response to Emilia's question, he revealed the name of the visitor, hesitating for a moment.

"This is Major Henrik Mikhau Rosenstock of the National Police."

---

When His Highness Emilia is meeting with Mr. Henrik, I will sit in the seat reserved for me.

I could respond calmly, I think. As a military counsellor, I think I could work out of personal affection.

The wall between the reception room and the office room is thick. Still, you must hear the emotional voice of His Highness Emilia slightly because she's so confused.

So is that. It's not an easy story to believe that someone you thought was your best friend was moving to harm you. Neither did I.

I ignore all the paperwork in front of me and look up at the ceiling. Nothing, to a ceiling as tasteless and dry as it deserves as an bureau, I had remembered the information I had just learned from Mr. Henrik, and that His Highness Emilia would be hearing by now.

I was on an official carriage to the Governor's office to report to His Highness Emilia and to ask for a response. I usually enjoyed the carriage slowly, which is a fantastic ride, but as far as this day was concerned, it opened up to the slow speed of the carriage and rushed your man over and over again.

And when I arrived at the entrance to the governor's office, I met someone with a familiar face.

He used to drink at the Duke of Krakowski's house, with Major Henrik Mihau Rosenstock, a member of the National Police Service, the so-called Gendarmerie, and a person believed to be an escort.

When I saw that face, I felt "he was involved in some way with this case" before I felt nostalgic. And that was true. He was the person in charge of this case, the Marinovska case.

And I heard it directly from his mouth.

In early July, multiple snitches arrived at the National Police.

It was an extremely abstract snitch that some officers of the Royal Army had disturbing movements.

The police department considered and ignored the snitch as a prank, but as the day went on, the contents of the snitch had become concrete.

At first, the killer was "part of a Royal Army officer," information only, but that became "an officer in the King's Capital," a snitch was received that said he belonged to the Kingsguard Division, and at the end of July, he became "an executive of the Kingsguard Division's 3rd Cavalry Regiment".

And about the disturbing movements and doings, they also became concrete as the day went on, culminating in the assassination of the princess.

If we had received detailed snitches so far and even targeted the assassination of the royal family, we would have had to move just as a police station.

It was decided by Ms Henrik, a princess, at the instigation of the Commissioner of Police, that she was to be responsible for this case. He was chosen for the reason that he would do everything in his power to protect the princess and for his prosperity.

In fact, Mr. Henrik conducted an investigation for the safety of His Highness Emilia. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment of the Kingsguard Division entered Krakow confidentially as it was time to travel to Krakow, gathering information about the Kingsguard Division and Krakow Garrison.

And unexpectedly, we found out who did it. The culprit was Major Sarah Marinovska, a friend of His Highness Emilia and executive of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment of the Kingsguard Division.

According to information gathered by Ms. Henrik's men, Sarah had embezzled some of the supplies in the garrison to save money, hired useful persons with that money, and was watching the opportunity to kill His Highness Emilia.

The location of the hired person is unknown, but the quality and quantity of the embezzled supplies are known and accounting documents made in the process of obtaining funds were found. He said all of that evidence corroborated Sarah's crimes.

"I put out a request to Major Sarah Marinovska to appear as an important reference person in the attempted assassination of Princess Emilia. But I went to her office to tell her about it, but it was already a stuffed shell. By trying to escape, her guilt became clear and her nomination was arranged."

"... that you haven't been arrested yet?

"Ah. Multiple testimonies confirm that she was in the Krakow garrison until this morning. Think about it in time, she'll still be somewhere in the Duke's territory"

I was relieved and convinced when I heard what was going on.

And perhaps Mr. Henrik thinks the same of me. Because of the circumstances and responsibilities placed on him, and because of the escort standing next to Mr. Henrik, and also because of the watchman, he couldn't say what he thought and just stated the facts.

"Valuable information, thank you"

"Oh, so I have a favor to ask, but I'd like to see the military inspector. I'm not making any promises, but would you mind?

"Okay. I'll tell Colonel Emilia that as soon as I report back. I'll show you to the reception room for now."

I was desperately curbing my anger while guiding Mr. Henrik and the others.

I don't know what to say myself, but I think I put up with it a lot.
