Operation Ormutz Fortress Attack - Siege Battle
In the Battle of Flanitze, the Royal Silesian Army took 3,000 national fighters into captivity. But a few of them, eight to be exact, succeeded in escaping, and after two days of escape, they reached Fortress Ormutz.
They got to the fortress and shouted loudly at the threat of the royalists. The cry also reached the ears of the Fortress Commander, Major General Kudlerček, and 9,000 members of the defense team marched out under the direct command of Kudlerček.
There are two things that were unhappy for Kudler Chek.
One was the disappearance of Major General Norberto Baresch, who had serious confidence from the interim President, Edvart Harha, the head of this country. As a result, Kudlerček had to ignore what he said was tactics and strategies to avoid being solemnized from the Harha.
Kudlerček's mission lies only in the fortress's defense, and he has no obligation to expedite to save Balesh. If he wasn't the kind of person who would be frightened by Harha, one option was to try to gather information without saving Balesh and request reinforcements from the capital and neighboring garrisons.
And the second misfortune is that three of the eight national captives who succeeded in escaping were royalist executives.
---
December 2 at exactly 14: 00.
Under His Highness Emilia, intelligence was brought by the reconnaissance forces that the defensive forces had marched out of Fortress Ormutz.
"You're on schedule, Mr. Yuzef"
"Yep. All you have to do is wait for an undercover operative to do his job."
There are three jobs for agents.
One is to circulate false information to have the Fortress Guard dispatched. This has been half-successful, and if we wait another half day, the defense will arrive invisible from the fortress.
The second is to open the main entrance of the fortress. You can wreck it fleshy on the fortress with magic, but you can't be flashy because you don't want the defense team you just set out to spare you as much as you can. So if we can barge in as quietly as possible, we're all hail.
And the final task is to create disturbances inside so that we don't get hit back from the fortress even if we approach it. I leave this area to the good of the operatives. Whether it's an assassination of an officer in a fortress, a rebellion or whatever. Anyway, I want you to make a case that we can't handle.
Because it is possible that the Fortress of Ormutz has a tactical magician, or a fortress-grade magician. Tactical Magic Powerful Awesome, it is possible to extinguish one regiment from one battalion in one shot. If tactical magic is shot from a fortress when we come over here to rob an empty house...... horrible. It's the agent's job to stop it.
"The question is, will he do his job properly?"
Yes, it was Maya standing beside Her Highness Emilia who spoke of anxiety. No, it might feel stronger to just say it than to be anxious.
"Is there any chance that they infiltrated will be impressed and betrayed by those in the fortress?
Mr. Maya asks me with a mean smile. You look like you're going to say, "Hey, Yuzef, get me some grilled noodle bread."
"Well, I think you'll be fine"
"Why?
"Mr. Maya will remember too, that operational meeting"
When I said that, Mr. Maya said, "Oh, I see," and nodded loudly. That's all you need to know.
"What are you talking about?
Meanwhile, it was Sarah who was next to me who didn't understand. It's just as usual that she doesn't understand a situation like this, no problem. Deduct 0 because you have a good ability to read war situations sensibly.
"Sarah, you remember the royalists saying bad things at the ops conference, right?
"Yeah. I wanted to hit you once."
Sarah had a murky look on her face. I know you really want to get upset and hit me, but I'm glad you put up with me.
"At that time, the executives who were supposed to have been scolded by His Majesty Karel weren't angry enough to look awkward."
"Really?
"Yeah."
I don't like anyone scolding me. If they're pretty girls or beautiful women, that could be a reward, but normally, some anger comes out.
But they royalist executives didn't show the sentiments they said so. That would be proof left that they are sworn allegiance to His Majesty Karel.
But Maya still doesn't seem to be able to escape some anxiety.
"But is that just a pledge of allegiance to His Majesty Karel? It's another matter of whether you follow our orders or not. Besides, you say," These Silesians. "
"I'm certainly anxious about that, but we won it all out in Flanitze earlier. I showed that in front of me, so I think you'll trust me a little bit. And."
"And?"
"And here's what I told them." With your hands, I offer the fortress to His Majesty Karel. "Then they were motivated."
Too much loyalty is difficult to deal with, and sometimes that loyalty limits the behavior of the troops. But this time, that loyalty is helping.
"So all you have to do is pray for success. If we succeed, we'll get the fortress. Failure does not cause any particular harm. That's all."
You just said you had one and a half days until the defense team that sent you out noticed the trap and came back to the fortress. If the main entrance to the fortress opens in the meantime, that's a signal that everything went well. I don't even have to be frightened of tactical magic. I don't even have the anxiety that if betrayal happens... but I don't think that's likely. I can't stand an operation that presupposes the betrayal of my allies.
"If I fail, I will not be harmed...? But we're going to lose the royalist executives who let us infiltrate, right?
"Sure, but is that the problem?
"What?"
Mr. Maya looked surprised. Well, that's natural, too. It feels like you think about people's lives.
I narrowed my voice to Maya like that so she could only hear me.
"It would be a little harsh to say, but that they were incompetent if they failed. No need for samurai, etc., where loyalty alone is unusually high but not accompanied by a track record. Such a man would be happier to have a second-class advance after a loyal battle."
…………
"I'm just kidding."
I meant it for this, but I guess I shouldn't have said it. A little Maya looked at me with white eyes.
But it's okay, Mr. Maya. I think they'll probably make it. That was more than trust, it just aroused a little intimacy in the attitude of their royalist executives trying to do something under oath of allegiance to their lords.
Just a little bit, though.
And before dawn the next December 3rd.
The main entrance to the Fortress of Ormutz was opened. I saw it. I accidentally gutted it.
"All right!"
And I screamed. Then Her Royal Highness Emilia said to me in a slightly teasing tone, "Sounds like you're overjoyed". Embarrassing.
"But the production is coming, Your Highness."
"Yeah, I know"
Yes, it is. Just because the main entrance has been opened does not mean it has been occupied. From here on out, it's an exercise of strength. His Highness Emilia quickly deploys his troops and thins them into fortresses. Until I reached the main entrance, I was anxious that tactical magic would fly, but apparently the operative's workmanship went well, and he only received minor resistance such as sporadic flying arrows and intermediate and advanced magic.
And when I got to the main entrance, there were three agents there who were letting me infiltrate. Yeah. Apparently, you don't need to make him a second-class special.
Early on arrival, His Highness Emilia gives the order quickly.
"Maya!"
"Ha, in front of you"
"Maya. I give you a battalion of swordmen. You stay ahead of the line and take control of the Fortress's main facility."
"Whatever you say!
Saying so, Mr. Maya quickly lumped his men together to get them ready to go. It's just my arm.
"Mr. Maya. May I?
"Mm, Yuzef, huh? What?"
"Is the structure inside the fortress in your head, given to you by Mr. Fine?
The Fortress of Ormutz is a fortress built by the Ostmarc Empire. For this reason, information about the fortress has been brought to the royalists via Mr. Fine. The fortress is like a maze inside so that it can resist even after being broken in, but thanks to this information, it can be efficiently attacked.
"Oh, no problem. I remember everything from the location of the central command room to the location of the commander's hidden safe."
That's what Mr. Maya made me laugh. Yeah, it'll probably be fine. The problem is that the map inside the Fortress Ormutz that Mr. Fine gave me doesn't state the location of the hidden safe.
"Please."
After I said that, Mr. Maya walked into the fortress. Mr. Maya is a master of swordsmanship and has leadership. Probably fine.
So let's do the best I can, too.
"Sarah!"
"Mm, what?
"Yeah, scatter some units of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment for perimeter reconnaissance..."
I just said, I felt signs behind my back. Turning around, there is the flashing face of His Highness Emilia. Shit.
"... well, I know you'd better have a perimeter reconnaissance, Your Highness.
I was just told the other day that the staff had no orders. It is a reflection.
"I think it's good. Please."
"Okay. So Sarah, please."
"... you're in trouble too"
Sarah, saying so, crossed the horse and disappeared somewhere, leading a squad under the flag.
Yeah, it's tough. Really.
