Continental Hero Senki
Sand Capital
Second Reich of Christ.
It is an independent nation that glorifies the successor nation of the former Continental Empire and later abandons its status.
The South China Sea trade, starting with the spice trade, and the repeated wars with several neighbouring countries made this country grow and flourish in some times. But such a golden age is a long time ago. Stopped by the resurgence of the Eastern Continent Empire and the burgeoning Ostomark Empire, this country is now experiencing a crisis.
Its empire capital of the Second Reich of Christ is Christ.
In ancient times it was an urban state, and now with the alias "Sand Capital," this city is located in the desert zone, unlike its alias. Because of its low latitude also vis-à-vis the relatively cold kingdom of Silesia, it is hot enough for the skin to cook in the summer and cold enough for the water to freeze at a turn in the winter evening.
Though formerly part of the same continental empire, the cultural differences that come from this difference in temperature and weather are also reflected in the structure of the city and the appearance of the architecture. It has attracted numerous travellers and merchants from exotic countries.
In the heart of Christ, such a sandy capital, is the most luxurious and large building in this empire. That is the "Hagia Sophia", where the Emperor Anatolikon and those around him reside and have long played their part as the central organ of the State.
Retrospective June 16.
At the Jingu Palace (Hagia Sofia), a previous meeting attended by the Emperor himself was held.
The agenda concerns the treaties concluded by the Kingdom of Silesia and the Empire of the Eastern Continent, namely the "Aeresund Treaty".
The 24th Emperor, Basileios Anatolicon IV, sits at the top, and in turn the Grand Chancellor (Sadrazam), the Military Chief, the Judge Chief, the Treasurer and the Registrar sit at their respective seats.
The first to speak was an old man, the Registrar, a position equivalent to that of Minister for Foreign Affairs in another country.
"More than before, probably since around the Spring War, the Ostmarc Empire is in sharp proximity to the Kingdom of Silesia. Out of the framework of the anti-Silesian alliance, create a new order in the eastern part of the continent. It is presumed that his country is aiming for its position as a central state."
The words spoken by the Registrar were not particularly pointy. If you look at the actions of the Ostomark Empire in the Spring War, that was well speculated.
But when he adds, "But", the venue for your meeting is stretched with some tension.
"A month ago, the Aeresund Convention signed in the Principality of Schauenburg threatens to cause serious harm to our country"
"... Chief Clerk, what does that mean?
It was the chief military officer in charge of the military in this country who so questioned it. He embarks upon himself and awaits an answer with an intimidating attitude towards the Registrar.
Although the Registrar, who saw such an attitude, was frightened for a moment, the majesty of the military chief was not as great as being able to twist and bend the facts because of it, and he reports the information his men pale examined.
"The specific history is unclear, but in the Aeresund Convention the Kingdom of Silesia presented to the Eastern Continental Empire an extremely calm and euphoric content: 'No compensation, no territorial transfer'. An unarmed zone has been created on the border, but the sovereignty of the area remains vested in the Eastern Empire."
"What's that supposed to be?
"… it was the Ostomark Empire, according to some sources, that devised this content"
To the words unleashed by the Registrar, both the Military Chief and the Emperor Basileios IV, everyone was too silent in amazement.
The Second Reich of Christ had for a long time repeated military or economic conflicts with the Eastern Continental Empire, the Ostmarc Empire. The Eastern and Ostomark empires also see both sides as virtual enemies in conflict.
In other words, the situation around the Second Reich of Christ was that the three giant empires held each other back with all their might, disputed each other, and now the deal by Yoo-hwa was about to begin.
Under such circumstances, however, the Ostmarc Empire made significant concessions to the Eastern Continental Empire via the Kingdom of Silesia on the occasion of the Aeresund Conference on Reconciliation.
The Registrar would no longer have had to explain how this seemed in the eyes of the Second Reich of Christ.
And the conclusion was represented by a man of higher standing than anyone else on this occasion.
"That empire, in consignment, is about to crush our country. Does Aeresund mean to prepare underneath?"
---
"I see, you certainly can't help but look that way to Christ. Reduce the military burden by allowing Ostmarc to establish friendly relations with its northern and eastern neighbours where appropriate. In the meantime, move the army south to discuss Christ. Is that the place?
"I think that's the place. Most of all, this is the paranoia of Basileios IV."
The content of the information given by Mr Fine was interesting.
Until now, I have only collected information on countries bordering Silesia, so I remember that information on these remote countries tastes fresh. Besides, I'm kind of sorry to think that my suggestion is baffling His Majesty the Emperor of the Second Reich of Christ.
I don't know your face, but I'm sorry. I know I won't even see you, but I apologize. It wasn't Ostmarc who strained the number of martial arts, he made the right decision in my brain.
But how much I've elucidated, it looks that way to Christ. There must be a fierce sandstorm in the sand capital right now. Horrible.
"Every bureaucrat in Christ has been in a hurry since this pre-June 16 meeting. Especially as the secretary and military bureaucrats panicked, they had several visits to the Ostmarc embassy."
I don't know if the visit and the others are friendly. Given the circumstances, it would be better to see it as part of our intelligence gathering, but in time, we might call the ambassador to draw attention or stab the nail.
By the way, what Mr. Fine was saying here is "bureaucracy" is "province" in the Second Reich of Christ. The chief becomes the chief. I'm not the secretary.
Besides, this wasteful Ostmarc vigilance of Christ may end in vain. At any rate, it is the Eastern Continental Empire that Ostmarc is on guard. There is no such thing as Yuwa.
Does this kind of mistake occur when the state's ability to gather information is low? I'm not in a position to say much about others, but this is going to be a good reverse teacher.
"I hope it ends in vain."
And Mr. Feene said something somewhat disturbing.
"What do you mean?
"The Imperial Army of Christ is moving. in the border zone."
"... is that with Ostmarc?
"Naturally."
Oh, what's that? Is it possible that someone thinks, "If it's enough to get hit, it's a pre-emptive attack" or something?
Don't be such an idiot... you're not here, are you? There's no way a human being sitting in the heart of a nation is all stupid, is there?
"But Ostmarc can't do anything about it, can he? Something that would give Christ a great name if he moved his army outright. Besides, what Ostmarc is trying to build is the Anti-Eastern Continental Empire Alliance. Naturally, the Second Reich of Christ also wants to draw into the alliance. For example, we can't get along here, can we?
"... Major can count on you in strange places"
"Is that a compliment?
"Yep. It's a compliment. I'll fall in love."
…………
"Hehe, Major. This is true."
I wanted you to say "I'm kidding" there.
"In any case, the trends in the Second Reich of Christ must continue to be followed. It could be the worst."
With that said, Mr. Fine goes to clean up the material. I guess that's a signal to go home. When I think I'm finally done with a job that was subtly hard because of my personal array, I can take the burden off my shoulders.
"Major Yuzef, I have a few questions for you."
That's what Mr. Fine asked me after I had cleaned up the material and the contents of the cup.
"What's up?
"From what I hear, the Special Involvement Hall is very free, isn't it? I asked Krakow's supply staff."
"Oh well..."
That bastard, the next time I see him, I'll stick a mud dough in his pants pocket.
"And Major Marinovska's been busy with his training lately."
"... ha"
I wonder why. I want to jump out the window behind you right now and get out of here with all my might. This is the third floor, though.
"I also went to greet His Highness Emilia, but that's when I finally heard it. About the Major's schedule."
"............... what is Your Highness?
"'Nothing in particular,' he said."
…………
Your Highness, that's not the occasion to be honest. You can ghost your mind. You can give me a job!
She is obviously burying the outer moat. Instead of the outer moat, the inner moat and the walls are filling everything.
"Major, by the way. May I?
"... Yes"
I only have such a hunch about getting into trouble, but I decide to listen to it with all my hopes. I have no choice but to.
"What are you planning for dinner today?
Exactly the same dialogue I've heard all the time, the same look on her face. It's just not like then, there's no Sarah next to me.
"... hey, no"
And I answered honestly.
