Imperial War

Continental Calendar August 8, 638.

That is the date on which several conflicts began between the Ostmarc Empire and the Second Reich of Christ…. Because this conflict, it doesn't mean it started in some clear way.

The beginning of the incident was the July 25 asylum of Empress Elena Romanova.

Empress Elena shouted quite loudly inside the Second Reich of Christ about the crisis between the Ostmarc Empire and Eastern Reich Chancellor Sergei Romanov.

"The Ostmarc Empire is steadily connected to Sergei, and the life expectancy of the Second Reich of Christ is shorter every day it follows. Because that country is not after the Silesian divide or anything else, but a more economically savoury Second Reich of Christ!

and.

Originally the Second Reich of Christ doubted the relationship between Ostmarc and the Empire of the Eastern Continent, so it did not take time for the words of this princess to be accepted by man in the upper realm of Christ.

Basileios IV, Emperor of the Second Reich of Christ, cannot be an exception to that. He believed the words of Empress Elena, rather than wanting to. There is a verse that I hoped would be true.

Some pointed out the suspicion that the royal family of the Eastern Continental Empire had been in exile from Ostmarc, but that did not end up being a majority. Because there was also no evidence of any kind that could counteract the growing Ostomark threat theory every day.

August 4.

Basileios iv issued a proclamation that is throughout the empire.

"I declare martial law throughout the empire to deal with the coming threat. The army should quickly and appropriately lay down a system of collision to prepare for this threat. It is my fervent hope that all the people will cooperate in this and fulfill their imperial duties"

In other words, it is a transition to a wartime system.

Against a huge empire called Ostmarc, only one second empire of Christ must stand for the moment. It was also considered desirable to settle in a limited and short-term manner in order to prevent the intervention of the Eastern Continental Empire and the Holy Tyrrhenian Pope.

It was thus steadily preparing for the war that happened in the field that we did not make it an expectation for the upper level of Christ.

August 8.

Situated on the border with Ostmarc, the guard unit stationed in Hadrianopolis, in the territory of Christ, and the Second Imperial Army of Christ seconded from the centre, with a total of 5,000 persons, were tightly guarding the border.

But whatever the substance, the two countries, which have not formally fought yet, continue to trade. Hadrianopolis was not an exception to that, but embraced merchants from Ostmarc.

That was the beginning of the tragedy for someone.

8: 30 a.m. the same day. A group of merchants from the Ostmarc Empire visited Hadrianopolis. Normally, it was not a rare story, but in the current situation, which was a quasi-war period, the merchant was questioned.

"... from what country?

One corporal, who is part of the Hadrianopolis stationed guard, goes into a transgressive attitude towards the merchant. In the usual Hadrianopolis, there are few questions about merchants holding entry cards, and even if there were again, they often went into a nasty attitude.

The merchants had no choice but to become somewhat frustrated with the actions of this corporal, as they were not originally close to each other.

"It's Ostmarc. You'll see."

"I see, Ostmarc"

Corporal doesn't stop behaving in a transgressive manner towards a quarrelsome merchant. On the contrary,

"A spy may be in the luggage. Look it up thoroughly!

and gave orders to his men.

There may be no choice under the quasi-war system, but as for those who have been suddenly told this in a country where they were treated as guests until the other day, anger comes in beyond frustration.

"Hey! What are you doing, you bastard! Don't touch the product with your filthy hands!

"This one's just exercising his legitimate rights! Or do you want to hide something!

"You're not! I just don't care about your attitude!

It did not take an hour for the army's questioning, which thus began against one merchant, to develop into a quarrel and take on a form close to rioting involving a group of other merchants.

"You Ostmarc spy!

"There's a pig son of a bitch in Christ!

As cursing murmurs, fists and elementary magic fly, the general of the Imperial Army of Christ, seconded from the center, finally decides.

"Suppress it! I don't mind killing anyone who resists!

It is the moment when the uprising turned into war.

According to an official statement of the Second Reich of Christ, "Ostmarc operatives disguised as merchants resorted to violence against the guards, so they were forced to use weapons to suppress it".

As for the Second Reich of Christ, this made the war famous.

In other words, the war against the Ostomark Empire was only a legitimate defence against the Ostomark Empire's acts of aggression.

But all the merchants who took part in this uprising were just merchants. He was an Ostomark citizen to the point where he could use elementary magic, nothing in particular changed except that he was a little short of his mind.

Against defenceless Ostmarc imperial subjects without weapons, the Second Reich Army of Christ tried to suppress them with weapons. Even said it was the responsibility of the Ostomark Empire, he called it defensive action and crossed the border.

It is rather natural that the Ostomark imperial subjects and emperors who learned about this were brought to a boil of anger.

Located on the border with Christ and 30 km from Hadrianopolis, the 3,000 members of the Ostomark Imperial Army stationed in Svilengrat, the Ostomark Imperial Army, immediately launched an attack against the marching Christian Imperial Army.

The Ostmarc Imperial Army and the Second Imperial Army of Christ finally clashed on the Capitan Plains, the midpoint between Subilengrad and Hadrianopolis, with the end of the war open.

Both soldiers roar, chant, stick out spears, and exchange swords.

And it was also the sound of the bell at the opening of the Seventh Ostmark-Christ War.
