A cabinet full of farce

8 September.

Sironsk, Wang capital, the cabinet room of the Palace of Wise Men (Philozov Palets).

The Chancellor of the Kingdom, Grand Duke Carol Silesia, opened his mouth in a cabinet room with fewer people than the one opened 10 days ago.

"- Then we'll hold a cabinet meeting."

That marked the beginning of a new political system in the Kingdom of Silesia.

Only six ministers took part in the new system by Grand Duke Carol, including Grand Duke Carol Silesia, Prime Minister of the Kingdom, of Foreign Affairs, Education, Miyagi, Society and Industry.

The cabinet members who did not participate, those who were the Kings, the political enemies, were three internal, financial and legal scribes, military scribes who opposed the means of saying coup d 'état, combined with four figures, were not in this room. Each person is under house arrest and is treated as "absent" on the minutes noted by the clerk.

Instead, someone who had never been in the cabinet room before somehow sat back and said, "I was one of the cabinet members from the beginning".

And without hesitation, he opened his mouth to Grand Duke Carol's opponent.

"The Cabinet, is it? You still use the language of the old system even through this period, Your Highness. Even though it's no longer a cabinet meeting."

"Don't say that, Count Shemir. This is important, too."

When the Grand Duke said so, the man known as the Earl of Shemir slightly snorted. It's like watching something funny.

"You know that, but it's an important cabinet meeting to announce the transition to a new system in the corner, right? What do you say, change your name and brand it 'Patriotic Peace Council'? Don't you think it's quite patriotic?

"I can't help but twist my head in the name of a meeting or something."

"Damn, so is that. Oh, excuse me. We're in the way of the cabinet."

I don't mind.

Earl of Shemir, who converses affectionately with the Grand Duke from earlier on, is of course a Grand Duke nobleman, a nobleman with a territory next to the Duke of Krakowski, and

"We shall now proceed to the proceedings. The first is who will succeed the current Marquis Schnabel, who wishes to leave."

He is the man who was one of the candidates for the next military pronouncement. He is now sitting in the chair where the Marquis of Military Scripture Schnabel was supposed to sit.

Normally (...), the appointment of ministers is made by the King. Regardless, you can't call it arbitrary because you have to look at that sometimes political situation and judge it, but basically (...) the king does.

But the current kingdom of Silesia is out of principle.

"At present, His Majesty Franz is unable to devote himself to political affairs per your illness. The samurai doctor is watching His Majesty, but the situation is not fragrant. Therefore, as a matter of urgency, a Cabinet meeting is held under the authority of the Prime Minister and a successor is provisionally selected by that Cabinet meeting, after which His Majesty the King will again be granted leave".

It is a terrible political convenience.

Indeed, the Prime Minister has that authority in unavoidable matters, and the Cabinet also has such provisional powers of ministerial appointment.

None of them, however, will be null and void without the approval of the King at a later date. But in this case, Franz supposedly lying down with the disease doesn't have to approve either. There is nothing legally or institutionally wrong with approving a man who will eventually become king after he becomes king.

If there is a problem, it means that the Earl of Tarnovsky, a legal scribe crying out for the spirit of the law, if he had participated in this cabinet, would have cursed the Grand Duke in dirty terms.

Hearing the words of Grand Duke Carroll, not every cabinet member thought nothing of that political expediency. But I don't argue with anything because I understand it's necessary, and I execute the cabinet as if I were to act.

"... right. For my part, I thought the Count of Shemir, who had been a candidate for a long time, would be fit."

The industrial pronouncement strives to say so, and the other cabinet members snort or coincide with the word "yes" as if to follow it.

"So, does everyone have any objection to nominating Count Shemir for a tentative military sentencing position?

"No objection"

"Admit no objection. The Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Silesia therefore nominates Count Schmuel Shemir for provisional military pronouncement.... So, do you mind, Count?

"I don't mind."

That is what Count Shemir said and took over the military paperwork. "It's a terrible farce," he cursed inside.

"Now for the next proceeding-"

And the farce didn't end.

A provisional (...) proposal for the dismissal of Baron Randowski of the Internal Affairs Letter, Count Tarnovski of the Legal Letter and Baron Grushka of the Financial Letter was tabled, which was resolved with the agreement of all the Ministers present. Naturally it is a provisional measure and therefore requires the King's leave… no further explanation would be necessary.

With regard to the three further posts dismissed, this was also decided by provisional measures to be concurrently assumed by the Grand Duke as Chancellor. Resolutions on this matter were not necessary and were therefore established as a natural achievement.

This made the position of Grand Duke Carroll the Prime Minister and Home Secretary and Legal Officer and Financial Officer of the Kingdom, and only one personality, Grand Duke Carroll, somehow had four votes in the Council of Ministers.

Grand Duke Carroll reinforced his own political position by means of these "farce" only.

There can be no one to pursue it on behalf of.

The council ends when the Grand Duke says, "So far today", when the proceedings on the paperwork are over.

It was only for this ritual that the six gathered together.

Only Grand Duke Karol and Count Shemir, the provisional military script, remained in the room even after the cabinet meeting was over. In a brief silence, the first to open his mouth was Count Shemir.

"Don't Grand Duke Carol have the qualities of a stage actor? You deserve praise for this kind of farce, for being able to do it without expression."

"... I'm not willing to be an actor or anything, Count"

Elbowed, distracted from the Count, the Grand Duke looks out the cabinet window into the courtyard of the Palace of Wise Men. But when I found the figure of a maid to take care of the garden, I also turned away from the maid. His gaze is poured at his feet.

"Do, Grand Duke. What are you going to do now?

"Nothing like this. Firstly, consolidate domestic ground. That's why I sent you today to military paperwork with what you call a farce."

"I see?"

Count Shemir of the Grand Duchy, who has territory next to the Duke of Krakowski, who turned to the Grand Duke, became the military paperwork governing the military junta. Whoever saw it, it was the collar against the territory of the former Duke of Krakowski, the head of the Kings, and the authority of the two territories by means of their economic power, private soldiers and authority became awesome.

It is with its authority to intimidate other territories and, if necessary, to crusade the Kings with its authority - no, to crusade the rebel forces.

"What is the situation of loyalty with regard to other noble territories?

"I have gained almost loyalty from the nobles who agreed with me from the beginning. Except for a few notices from the Kingslayer noblemen saying 'postpone answers due to the absence of the Lord', it's a reluctant breeze."

"... unexpectedly, things are going well, right?

"Whatever, the head of that royalist nobility is in the walls thanks to the cooperation of the Duke of Krakowski. You can't attack us."

"I see. Discover, Your Royal Highness is a spicy man."

Substantial conversations continue more than in earlier cabinet meetings.

That is more proof than anything that Count Shemir is a human being at the core of this coup. But even then, there were a few things he didn't know.

"But Your Highness. I'm wondering something."

"What?

"It's about the other lord."

It was indisputably about Princess Emilia.

Emilia is still incarcerated in the Chancellery. However, satisfactory meals and minimal entertainment are provided, and there is also a dedicated Kingsamurai (also called surveillance).

"I wish I could just kill you, toying with a loving, crude, ignorant Prince Valter. Is it still something called kinship love that keeps you around forever?

"... Count, your mouth is going too far"

"That's rude. But, Your Highness, I dare you. The buds that cause failure should be picked quickly. At least, you won't have to leave it in the Chancellery. I was wondering if you'd like to imprison me with some courtesy on some secret border."

Being nearby can be depressing, the Count goes on.

Just because there is still a princess in the Chancellery can be courageous and give you an excuse to encourage rebellion. The fact of the Princess's survival makes it so.

In that regard, it is good to make him the daughter-in-law of Prince Vuostomarc Empire Valter. There are pretexts, there are opportunities. Prince Valter also wants Princess Emilia.

But the Grand Duke didn't dare to do it.

The reason is terribly simple.

Grand Duke Carroll put the reason out of his nostalgia.

"My dear neighbor sent me this personal message."

One simple envelope. It's just a letter everywhere.

What was just different from the ordinary letter was that it was sealed to mimic the crest of the Imperial family of the Eastern Continent: the double-headed Black Eagle.

"... this is"

"That's right. The Great Nephew of the Emperor of the Eastern Continent... No, from His Majesty Sergei Romanov, the 60th Emperor"

Letter from Sergei, whose predecessor, Ivan VII, collapsed and inherited the throne of the Supreme.

Shermy, who swallowed the letter, which must have been somewhat important, was taken lightly after reading it.

Says,

"If you, my dear friend, intend to do something important, I hope you will not harm the princess."

and.

…………

"Well, that's the thing. As the Foreign Secretary said, Your Majesty made an informal proposal at a meeting of the Aeresund Convention."

".................. haha"

Hearing the Grand Duke's words, Count Shermey had to laugh.
