Former Ministry of the Interior underground prison

The Ministry of the Interior once existed a secret police organization called the High Police Service.

When the High Police Department was dismantled by decree, the underground prison they had was also supposed to have been closed.

But now that a new emperor has been established, the high police station is virtually revived, and underground prisons are to be used again.

The first of these was Roman von Linz "former" Count, and Leopold Joachim von Coudenhof "former" Marquis.

"Hey Count Linz, and Marquis Coudenhoff. How are you? Oh, speaking of which, weren't you a Count or Marquis anymore, if you'll excuse me. So, what do you say? How comfortable are you living in a political prison?

"Right, Your Majesty. I wouldn't have complained if the bed was softer."

"I see. Then you should expect the beds in the afterlife to be soft"

Over the iron lattice, Valter's new emperor and former Count Linz converse.

It's not some fruitful story, it's just that Valter simply wanted to see "the winner's privilege" wielded. Linz and Coudenhoff thought it was pretty free because it's been going on every day since that coup.

"Hmm. Exactly. Is the response dull every day? Well, good. Your execution date is almost up. I look forward to hearing you cry then.... and Lord Linz's daughters will need a 'show' too, right?

As one father, Valter's words are remarkable enough to be revulsive, but Linz wasn't as thriving in service spirit as he would angrily do there.

Besides, Linz didn't already have Valter or anything in his eyes, and his head was full of something else.

"... boring"

And when he realized it, Valter clapped his shoulders, and told the guard to keep a strict watch, he went straight home.

"Oh boy. I'm tired of regular visits by His Majesty the Emperor. My foolishness."

"Right, father-in-law. Life in prison is boring."

Two neighboring houses, parents and children who continue to converse over each other's walls. There is no tension whatsoever in their conversation, and I'm going to forget that this is the innkeeper.

"Speaking of which, what happened to Silesia? Is it time to perish?

"Hey, as long as you have an array, you won't let it perish easily. It's only a matter of time, but we should probably have it until spring."

"Then you have to hit your hand before you do, do you mean"

And what's more puzzling is that the guards don't blame their political stories, their counter-attacks.

"... shouldn't we talk a little more whispering, you two?"

For once, the two of you convey too reluctant advice to say you blame the guards that way, but don't bother to do so. In particular, Linz:

"What, I don't care. The soundproofness of this underground prison is ensured. Thanks to the consideration of keeping the political prisoners' loud plea for help from leaking outside."

"If I report it, it's over, right?

"Are you going to report it? I'm telling you, my arm is longer and stronger than you think, okay?

…………

The answer to that interaction goes back to the day of the coup d 'état, when Linz and Coudenhof were trapped in this cell.

The two men imprisoned by the hands of the new emperor, Valter, were subjected to a "declaration of victory" and a cheap curse that had come from that new emperor. This is what Linz said to one of the guards who is here now, with a coudenhof with his head in his head about what to do while telling the story of Valter.

"Hey, you do belong to the old High Police Department... and now you were Alban Roat, who was moved left by the underground prison warden? My birthday is August 21, my mother is Marie, my father is Ahim, and my brothers are none. Was my grandfather indeed the secretary of the Ministry of the Interior..."

"Hey, why did you...!?

Alban Roat is bewildered by the fact that he has been given his first name, birthday, family structure, etc.

I was stunned to see how I knew my profile, a single official, even though I was at the head of the Ministry of Information, which makes information-gathering a business.

And at the same time, if it had been so known... it would have frozen his spine. The anxiety should be addressed shortly afterwards.

"What, because you have a somewhat interesting background. Of course you do."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"You smell pretty good."

Kung Kung, and Linz, who specializes in smelling something with his nose. And the words that Linz unleashed after a sniff determined his future behavior.

"Your body smells like the blood of 14 boys. Then you can hear them crying and crying for help. The status of" High Police Station "is convenient... and the" Underground Prison Administrator "who moved left would be a gift, right?

…………

At that moment, Alban Roat becomes Linz's pawn.

And Kudenhof, who was listening to a series of conversations, had his head in a different way.

Linz didn't say everything, but that was enough for Alban Roat.

In order to protect his life and honour, he was not even censored or involved in any way when Linz or Coudenhoff contacted him through a letter, and at last refused to meet anyone on their side.

For example, Fine von Linz, daughter of Linz. Kurt Versbach, for example, a Linz subordinate….

"It's not bad living in prison to see your daughters and men who are under house arrest."

"I was fortunate that His Majesty Valter was the worst fool in the history of the Empire. The 445th Infantry Battalion of the Imperial Army Imperial Metropolitan Defense Division, which monitors our Count's house, has been cooperative with the Ministry of Information since before the coup d 'état."

"It must have been Versbach's accomplishment to make you cooperative, right?

"Well, you don't know what it is"

Thus, he said, the Interior Ministry underground prison kept smiling day after day, even under imminent circumstances.

"Versbach, how's it going up there?

"It's fished in a good way. There are many who do not even know that we are doing this, and who, seeing it as unfavourable to the former Count Linz family, successively name it 'We are Emperors of the Valter'. Nobles alone have already surpassed 39."

"Yeah, yeah. Looks like your operation went well. [M] I did bad things to Silesia, but, well, they'll be fine."

Versbach's "operation" was easy.

Feeling Prince Valter's plot, he dared to miss it. On the contrary, he even supported it through the people of the Ministry of the Interior faction. He even advised that "winter is the best time to execute a coup" by acquiring Valter's side.

Without knowing that it was a trap, Valter executed a much-advised coup… And again, the "traitors" who failed to understand it confessed one after the other, and began to cooperate with Valter.

"You won't need to broil it out anymore. Versbach makes every effort to protect the nobles and bureaucrats still on this side"

"I know. I'll do everything I can to sell you my favor."

Walter was foolishly dancing on the trap built by the strewn Versbach and Linz.

Regardless, it makes no difference that Silesia has become a crisis, but if you try Versbach, he says, "you don't have to be so proud of Silesia".

His loyalty is only to Linz and not to Silesia. It does not exist in the Ministry of Information, such as those who differ in trying to secure their own country at the expense of Silesia.

"Very good. So, Fine. What does Silesia look like? More importantly, my dear, how is he?

"Your father remains the same in this situation... Well, fine. I'll be clear and exhausted on one of the 'crises' things. We can't even fight back because we can no longer get military support from our country."

"I know that. I'm asking him what he thinks of it."

"... I can't tell you how clear I am because of possible inadequacies in the transmission of information under martial law."

Fine is not listening to Yuzef's measures. Sometimes I couldn't give the information poorly because I'm not sure I can imagine a whole Count Linz family acting so freely in the first place.

But Fine did her usual job of analyzing the leaked information and passing it on to her father in view of the situation.

"Apparently, the Royal Karlsbert Army and the Royal Silesian Army are showing signs of a joint invasion of the Ostomark Empire."

"... I see. So we're trying to free the Empire with our own hands."

"Probably."

"Good hands. Politically and strategically."

Linz also had service experience as "Brigadier General Kirk," so he knew war to some extent, so he could figure out what effect it would have.

"Totally, I'm glad you're on his side."

"Do you agree with Versbach? Neither do I. What the hell would have happened if I had stuck to the anti-Silesian alliance like any other elephant imperial nobleman?"

"Is it the demolition of the Empire? That's what I wanted to see for my country..."

Ha-ha-ha, and the two laughing.

From Coudenhof and Fine's point of view, it was a joke that wouldn't be stylish under the circumstances.

"Cohon. So, fool. What are you gonna do now? Turns out your hand is long, but now that the military chain of command is also held by Valter, I can't get my hands on it. I know I value that boy highly, and I think I'm competent about him too... But still, the Ostmarc Imperial Army opponent will be a battle in the Karlsbert Silesian Mixed Army."

"I guess. Yuzef-kun can't possibly understand that."

"So what are you going to do? Shut up and overlook that?

"No way."

Linz laughs and, as usual, tells Versbach and Fine.

"Versbach. You tell my 'friend'. I'm sure he knows the situation, and he knows Yuzef. A more capable man than anything. I think you'll understand the meaning of the legend."

"Okay. immediately."

"Mm-hmm. Fine, of course, reports this to Yuzef. I'll leave the specific methods to you. Whatever, you can go directly to Silesia. We have Claudia."

"No. It's troublesome in case Valter finds out about my absence. So I'll stay too"

"It would help if you did. Good luck, everyone."

"" Ha!

The two will finish the interview and the guard will state in the report, "Reasons to report Nashi".

And Coudenhof,

"Am I correct in offering my daughter to this guy...?

And he was asking himself if the act he had chosen a long time ago was right.
