"Go, go, go, go, go!" Major Tatania pretended to kick Major Puditok, who, despite wearing a different uniform, was no different than family, while cursing, "Stop pretending in front of me. If you have even a shred of thought about stopping the conflict, I’ll jump off this three hundred-story building!"

As he spoke, he pulled the laughing Major Puditok and headed towards the crowd gathered at the other end of the balcony, "Even the main gate is closed, it should be soon. Let’s go and check it out. These guys are really well-prepared. I just brought a portable long-range viewer, while they’ve brought tactical analysis and data collection devices. The viewer screen can even show a movie."

Walking towards the other end of the balcony, Major Puditok asked, "I heard all weapons from the bandit army and the 31st Army have been ordered to be seized? Since they can surrender the weapons, why don’t they simply order to stop the conflict?"

"Order to stop?" Major Tatania snorted, giving Major Puditok a sidelong glance, "Are you really confused or just pretending? Don’t you know why the 31st Army is here?"

"I know," Major Puditok pouted, "Aren’t they just here to grab credit and make a name for themselves? Before the Canglang Star landing battle, these guys have always been comparing themselves to the achievements of Ryan Battlefield’s leader, trying to get a foot in here."

"Then if you were Lord Military God whose granddaughter was almost killed, or if you were President of Chuckna with Longbow Star System still in the bandit army’s hands, what would you do?" Major Tatania took a sip of coffee, speaking lightly.

"I know, it’s a good chance to embarrass the Leefer Legion," Major Puditok replied. "But can the bandit army really defeat the 31st Army? What if they can’t fight them off? That would just bolster the 31st Army, wouldn’t it?"

"I truly don’t know how you managed to become a major," Major Tatania said contemptuously, "The Military God is clearly playing them. If the 31st Army loses the battle and gets humiliated, it will crush the Leefer Army’s invincible Iron Army reputation. They might still have a chance to go to Canglang Star. If they win, Marshal Hastings can just use a ’break unity’ excuse to banish them. They fought hard for this chance, but with Lord Military God’s maneuver, don’t expect any Leefer Army to enter the Southeast Star Domain."

As soon as he said this, not only was Major Puditok dumbfounded, but even the other officers who heard him also looked at him with strange expressions.

"Am I wrong?" Major Tatania asked curiously, looking around at the officers, and sighed, "Moreover, just look at those bandit guys with their reddened eyes, do any of you think anyone can order them to leave now?"

Everyone nodded silently. Suddenly, Major Tatania felt a heavy slap on his shoulder. He turned back to find it was a major general from his own country. Before he could stand and salute, the major general nodded and praised him, "What unit are you from? Forget major; you could be a major general! I don’t even see as clearly as you do!"

As they were talking, suddenly, a commotion arose from beside them.

"He’s coming out! Faset is coming out!" An officer shouted. The people on the balcony took out the portable long-range viewers they carried, and those inside turned to look at the large viewer screen.

They saw the gates of the 31st Army Base open, and Faset stepped out under the escort of several senior officers and a squad of guards.

Although the guards did not have their guns anymore, they still maintained strict vigilance as they walked out the gate. With a group of expressionless officers escorting him, Faset stopped ten meters from the gate, standing with his hands behind his back. Immediately, an officer stepped forward and shouted a few words at the bandit army.

A moment later, a short and sturdy bandit army Major General stepped forward to Faset under the officer’s request.

Faset looked at the Major General with a serious expression, speaking rapidly about something. He appeared somewhat agitated, righteousness evident.

However, he had barely spoken a few sentences before being interrupted.

The bandit army Major General, silent all this time, did not utter a word. He just looked disdainfully at the endlessly speaking Faset and suddenly swung his hand, delivering a vicious slap across his face.

The entire building was filled with the sound of gasps.

. This Chapter is about three to four hundred words short of five thousand words, not considered a big Chapter, but it’s getting late, seeing many readers waiting. Plus, writing up to here, it feels good to just publish. Also, talking about going full-time, it’s uncertain when, at least the next couple of months, I still have other things delaying me. For me, full-time means having more time to write, trying to increase from my previous update volume. However, updating every day, without interruption, reaching seven or eight thousand words, if I say it’s possible, probably no one would believe it. So don’t pressure me with going full-time. When I say full-time, I mean to take more responsibility for the waiting readers, not to focus on making money in this industry. If I wanted to make money, I could write ten or twenty thousand words a day; anyone can type.
