Chapter 2003 - 106: Make a Feint to the East, Attack to the West
Qin Shaojin pinched his collar with those pretty long fingers and smiled all harmless. "You don’t really look like you can beat me. You sure you wanna go all out with me? Not afraid I’ll shove your head in the toilet and give you a shampoo?"
As his voice fell, there was laughter in his eyes, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
Yu Zimu bit his lip, glanced left and right, then suddenly grabbed the mop the cleaner had left to the side. "Deleting it or not?"
Qin Shaojin, "..."
Fuck! So that’s an option.
Seeing the mop head swing toward him, he shrank back a little. "If you dare, believe it or not I’ll fucking kill you."
Yu Zimu, "If you don’t delete the video, I’ll wash your face with this mop right now."
As he spoke, he moved his arm.
Qin Shaojin, "..."
This mop was literally used to scrub the bathroom!
He eyed it, wanting to kick it away, but afraid it’d go off course, so he dropped the idea quick.
Now he wanted to leave, but he was trapped in the corner.
Yu Zimu, "Delete it!"
Qin Shaojin raised both hands. "Move the mop back a bit."
Yu Zimu watched him warily. "You think I don’t know you? I’m not falling for that."
As soon as he finished, he shoved the mop even closer to Qin Shaojin’s face.
Smelling that whiff of sewer, Qin Shaojin wrinkled his nose. "Enough, you win, I’ll delete it!"
Yu Zimu, "Stand right there, don’t move. Delete it yourself, then let me inspect it."
Qin Shaojin, "..."
He deleted the recording and the video, then tossed the phone to Yu Zimu.
Yu Zimu looked at Yu Zimu; one hand holding the mop, the other reaching out for the phone. "Don’t move around. The mop doesn’t have eyes—if it ends up in your face, don’t blame me."
Qin Shaojin had originally planned to use the chance to kick the mop away, but with the mop head only a few centimeters from his face, he stayed put and didn’t move a muscle to avoid any accidents.
Yu Zimu backed up a bit, glanced at the phone, and after confirming everything was gone, tossed the phone back to Qin Shaojin.
Qin Shaojin caught the phone, walked out of the restroom, and hooked up the corner of his lips.
Did they really think he was that stupid?
He’d already sent it to the WeChat group before deleting it.
Thinking about how Yu Zimu would see it any minute now, he slipped away fast and went back to the private room.
Yu Zimu stood in the restroom, held his breath, then exhaled it all at once, lit a cigarette, and stood there smoking.
Once he finished, he heard his phone going off nonstop. He opened it, took one look. "Shit!"
He stubbed out the cigarette, tossed it into the trash, and was already out of the restroom, heading toward the private room.
The moment he walked in, he saw everyone holding their phones, playing the video of him singing the national anthem.
"..."
Holding it in for a long moment, he looked at Qin Shaojin. "Qin Xiaosan, this isn’t over. This lifetime, as long as I’m not dead, I’m taking you down with me!"
Qin Shaojin looked over at Yu Zimu. "Nini wants to learn the national anthem. She wants you to teach her."
Nini looked at Yu Zimu. "Uncle Yu Zimu, you sing so well. Can I learn the national anthem from you?"
Yu Zimu stood there, feelings all tangled up.
When a little beauty invites you, you’re supposed to be all gentlemanly and suave.
But—
Nini looked at Yu Zimu. "Uncle."
That soft, sugary voice made it impossible for him to refuse. "You really want to learn?"
Nini nodded. "Yeah, Uncle sings really well."
Yu Zimu looked at Nini. She was like a little sun, warming him up. "Okay, Uncle will teach you."
Nini looked at him seriously, all ready to learn.
Yu Zimu glanced at everyone. At this point, it was what it was.
He simply let go of his embarrassment, picked Nini up, and started teaching her the national anthem.
Nini studied earnestly. Xiaoshi, Xiaoshiyi, and Xiaoshi’er listened and started humming along in their baby voices, "Arise, ye who refuse to be slaves..."
