"You’re back!" Ye Fei was so delighted that she woke up completely, with no trace of drowsiness left.

She immediately dashed towards Zhao Gushen.

Zhao Gushen caught Ye Fei, and as he did, he conveniently leaned back, causing Ye Fei to lie atop him.

"When I messaged you today asking when you’d be back, why didn’t you reply?" Ye Fei said, slightly annoyed.

Zhao Gushen pleaded: "I was on the plane then. You can’t use mobile data on a plane, and the Wifi signal wasn’t great, so I simply didn’t connect. I only saw your message after landing."

Zhao Gushen wrapped his arms around Ye Fei, saying, "But I truly wanted to surprise you."

He said pitifully, "Even though you never said you missed me, I really missed you. So I thought regardless of whether you missed me, I’d finish my work quickly to come back and see you."

"From now on, unless absolutely necessary, don’t go on business trips for so long," Ye Fei said.

She rested her face on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat.

"Alright," Zhao Gushen agreed, "If I really have to go away for a long time, I’ll take you with me. You’re a freelancer, after all, and traveling together won’t hinder anything. Plus, exploring different parts of the world and tasting local cuisines could inspire you."

Considering this, Ye Fei agreed.

As for their little one, she wasn’t worried.
