Chapter 999: Totally Boyfriend Style
The sleeves of the shirt on her were like water sleeves.
They were so long, covering her hands thoroughly.
The hem of the shirt almost reached her knees.
The whole thing was incredibly oversized.
"This is definitely the boyfriend style," Li Xiaoyun murmured.
"I’ve never had the chance to wear something like this," she chuckled quietly.
When she’s not working, Li Xiaoyun also likes to dress casually in private.
She likes to buy sweaters, loose shirts, knitwear, etc., one or two sizes bigger than her actual size.
Wearing them loose, the key is they make her look slimmer.
But those can only barely count as a boyfriend style, not actually wearing a boyfriend’s clothes.
Forget about a boyfriend; before this, she had never even worn a man’s clothes.
Now this feeling... why is it a bit sweet?
There’s also a feeling of fullness in her heart.
Li Xiaoyun looked down at how she was dressed.
Though she’s single, now she finally experienced the feeling of a boyfriend-style shirt.
An authentic men’s shirt!
But this shirt didn’t have the familiar pine scent of Zhao Dingli.
It was freshly washed, with a very clean, refreshing smell.
Li Xiaoyun glanced around Zhao Dingli’s bedroom and found not to mention any full-length mirror.
There wasn’t even a small mirror.
This left Li Xiaoyun without a way to see what she looked like wearing Zhao Dingli’s shirt.
Li Xiaoyun thought for a moment and decided she could take a picture with her phone.
Not to share, just to keep as a memento on her phone.
After all, it’s her first time wearing a man’s shirt.
And it’s Zhao Dingli’s.
There won’t be another chance in the future.
Shouldn’t she commemorate it?
Though Li Xiaoyun thought she was being quite sly.
Ultimately, she was defeated by her own genuine thoughts.
"Whatever, whatever. Anyway, there won’t be another chance after this," Li Xiaoyun took a breath, "I have to keep a memento."
She thought her mindset was probably like having the chance to wear something of her long-time idol.
That kind of mindset?
Though she hadn’t idolized Zhao Dingli for long.
But Zhao Dingli’s clothes, not many people would have the chance to wear them, right?
Even though she didn’t plan to show off, she still wanted to record it.
Li Xiaoyun thought so, and then looked down to grab her phone.
Only to find she hadn’t brought her phone with her.
The phone was still in the living room.
Li Xiaoyun’s lips turned down in disappointment.
Alright then!
Now, not even a chance for a keepsake.
Only her memory to rely on.
Li Xiaoyun sighed regretfully, then left the bedroom.
Even though she wasn’t like on TV, bare-legged, only wearing a shirt that looks particularly sexy.
She still wore her own pants.
But wearing Zhao Dingli’s shirt in front of him felt particularly strange.
Li Xiaoyun fidgeted, tugging at the hem of the shirt.
And awkwardly adjusted the collar.
When Zhao Dingli saw her in his shirt, his eyes darkened a bit, then quickly concealed it.
But in his heart, he thought, Li Xiaoyun looks really good in this.
He couldn’t help thinking it would be nice to see her dressed like this often at home.
Though her pants seemed a bit restrictive.
Wearing them at home, it’s not comfortable.
It would be better if she took them off altogether.
Li Xiaoyun was completely unaware of Zhao Dingli’s thoughts, feeling quite embarrassed herself.
"Ahem." Zhao Dingli cleared his throat.
"You... sit here." When Zhao Dingli spoke, he scared himself with his suddenly hoarse voice and quickly stopped.
He coughed a few more times to clear his throat, "I’ll apply some medicine for you."
Li Xiaoyun nodded and sat down.
Her tense movements were a bit stiff.
"I know your arm is injured," Zhao Dingli said, "how’s it on this side?"
Li Xiaoyun simply rolled up the sleeves on both arms, exposing her arms.
Zhao Dingli saw that her left arm had more bruises.
The right arm had fewer, at one inconspicuous spot.
It must have been accidentally injured while entangled with Zheng Xuelin.
Zhao Dingli took out some medicinal oil, pouring some into his palm.
The oil had a somewhat pungent smell, similar to menthol oil.
Zhao Dingli applied it on her bruises, saying, "Bear with it, the instructions say to massage it in."
"Okay." Li Xiaoyun nodded, "I’m actually fine, you don’t have to worry."
Even without applying the medicine, she would heal.
Zhao Dingli smiled and began massaging to help the oil absorb.
But he was still worried she’d feel pain, so he was cautious with the pressure, not daring to be too forceful.
Li Xiaoyun thought, since he’s already pressing it.
If he applies pressure where the bruises are, it’s bound to hurt.
So it’s better to press hard and break up the bruise so it heals faster.
After all, it’s going to hurt, why endure unnecessary pain?
So, Li Xiaoyun said, "Don’t worry about me, just press harder. It helps dissolve the bruises."
Zhao Dingli, despite not being a doctor, knew that applying more pressure would be more effective.
But he worried if Li Xiaoyun could handle it.
Now that she said so, but seeing her thin arms and legs, he still hesitated.
So he said, "I’ll try adding pressure bit by bit, if it gets unbearable, let me know and I’ll ease off."
"Okay." Li Xiaoyun nodded.
But Li Xiaoyun was single her whole life.
Hearing Zhao Dingli’s words, she found them ordinary, not thinking wrong.
If it were married Ye Fei, and Zhao Gushen said this, she’d surely blush.
Zhao Dingli cautiously increased the pressure.
With each increase, he asked Li Xiaoyun, "How is it?"
"It’s fine," Li Xiaoyun nodded.
Though it hurt, it wasn’t unbearable.
Zhao Dingli asked frequently, but Li Xiaoyun didn’t find it annoying.
Instead, every time Zhao Dingli asked, she patiently nodded, indicating she’s fine.
And Zhao Dingli asked about every three or four seconds.
With this, Li Xiaoyun didn’t find it tedious but thought Zhao Dingli was too considerate.
When the oil was applied and absorbed into each bruise.
Nearly an hour had passed.
And Zhao Dingli never tired, massaging the entire time.
Finally done, Li Xiaoyun sighed in relief.
"Thanks for your efforts," Li Xiaoyun said, embarrassed, "for massaging such a long time."
"I didn’t find it hard," Zhao Dingli said, frowning at her bruised arms, "but I don’t know when they’ll heal."
"Probably quite soon," Li Xiaoyun said, "I’m fairly good at recovering."
Zhao Dingli looked down, his gaze fell on Li Xiaoyun’s feet.
