Li Xiaoyun went to the shoe cabinet by the door, picking a pair of everyday high heels and a pair of sneakers.
She packed them in a shoe box and tucked them into the suitcase.
"Are two pairs enough?" Zhao Dingli thought she seemed to have taken too few.
"Yes, plenty," Li Xiaoyun said with a smile, "I’m only planning on staying at your place for three to four days maximum."
Zhao Dingli smiled, saying, "No worries, if they aren’t enough, we can always come back for more."
Li Xiaoyun gave him a puzzled look.
Surely two pairs were enough.
She wasn’t planning on staying too long.
Zhao Dingli didn’t explain further, only asking, "Completely packed now?"
"Yes," Li Xiaoyun nodded.
"Then make sure to turn off all unnecessary power at home. It’s not safe to leave the electricity on when you’re not staying here," Zhao Dingli instructed.
