Dancing Circles on the Horizon of Events

-11.1-22 Refurbishment 5

When Eves was discussing Griffon's response to children.

"Shouldn't we have made antigravity-generating magic tools by now? Look, I live in the neighborhood, and I live in Alfania..."

"Even demonic props aren't omnipotent ~? As with electricity and fuel, if you consume magic, you have to fill it, and in some cases secondary phenomena can occur, such as fever, just like physical phenomena ~ …"

On the bridge of Energia, Waltz and Cortex continued to have discussions. Its content, unlike in the morning, is about what to do with modifications to go to space with energy…. Yes, the two had not yet come to a conclusion.

There are three main problems in order to navigate the universe with energy: the first is that going to space exposes the crew to cosmic rays; the second is what do we do with the crew's water, food supplies, excreta and other treatments? And the third and final thing is that the nuclear fusion reactor currently installed in energy cannot be used in space because of the problem that heat dissipation cannot take place because of limited water.

Of which, for the former two, it was not that big a problem. The outer wall of energy is not thin enough for cosmic rays to pass through...... As for water and food, if we load them in large quantities without worrying about heavy (...) quantities (...), we can do something about them for 2 months. There is a recycling mechanism for excreta, so as long as there is electricity (...) force (...), there is no problem with the treatment.

… Finally, in order to get to space, we needed some kind of power engine that would turn into the current nuclear fusion reactor. For a time, we talked about using magic without any problems in the universe as long as it can be cooled, and for that reason it became a development that we should use magic... Looks like Waltz and Cortex ended up taking the proposal as "Proposition B."

Anyway, energy needs major modifications in order to incorporate magic and magic tools for cooling into a nuclear fusion reactor. Then it became possible to install a new engine that was not a nuclear fusion reactor.

"But you can, can't you? Magic Guided Antigravity Device"

"Yeah, of course you can ~? But, as I said earlier, that's the question of how to bribe the immense magic. I wonder if asking Lucia ~. If you're going to do that, it's the same thing as putting a demonic cooling device on a fusion reactor."

"So it's a B proposal, isn't it? Because I have to rely on Lucia or someone....... ha. Can't you do something about it? Cortex. Power with your power - magic conversion..."

"The opposite magic - power conversion doesn't matter, but it's just hard to create magic with power ~. If you can do that, your sister should be able to use magic all she wants."

"Uh, yeah."

Absolutely right, waltz nodding all the time. Without biological parts she can't make magic, and therefore no magic... Even as a waltz who has always yearned for something called magic for the past year, the power - magic conversion device wanted to be made very badly.

She had not given up on using magic. I just couldn't draw a lead between the two concepts of science and magic...... Until now, it has been such a difficult task for her not to know where to start without finding a reason to connect to the answer.

It just wasn't without a hint.

"Me, I think... how could a deprexa have used magic? Something's dropping meteorites from the sky..."

As Waltz put it, as far as she could tell, Deprexa looked like she was using magic.

Deprexa is a Guardian from the modern world, just like Waltz. In other words, the whole body should be made of machinery. To say that magic could have been used nonetheless should mean nothing more than that it was converting some energy into magic...... That's what Waltz thought.

But Waltz didn't ask Deprexa what was going on. There seemed to be such a reason.

"Um, sister ~? Didn't you ask Master Deprexa how magic could be used ~?

"Well...... for once, even if it looks like this, there is something called pride, and Deprexa is the same Guardian as me...... If you ask me directly, I feel like you're losing, don't you? Well, even if I heard it indirectly, it's the same... Besides, the Deprexa is not in a state where we can listen..."

Like this, again, Waltz didn't ask Deprexa what was going on.

"Is that still the same ~?

"... well, I can't hang it on the scale that this world could perish"

"If you know the world could perish, wouldn't Plan B be good too ~..."

"If Lucia doesn't have anything,"

While I don't want to take it to a situation where the fate of the world hangs on one Lucia's shoulder, Waltz does not put it directly in his mouth, but wraps it in oblate. Cortex against also seemed to understand what his sister was trying to say, and he had no further pursuit than that.

Then again, they have the same argument, but there are no ideas that can be described as drafts... As a result, the two will make certain decisions.
