Dancing Circles on the Horizon of Events
-11.6-14 Circle Dance 14
Waltz hanging brakes on Strandia outside and Lucia defending herself while reinforcing Strandia inside. The relationship between those two is as if they were going to outline... By the moment of imminent atmospheric entry, it seemed that the sisters were working together to help each other achieve their common goal of braking Strandia.
Gogogogogogogogo......!
"Are you okay? Teresa."
"So far, so good."
Ggggggggggggggg......!
"I'm not sure from here, but it's been amazing out there, isn't it?
"Hmm, I don't know? Well, when I get outside the magic effect, I think I'm gonna get hurt..."
The acceleration associated with the deceleration rises proportionally to 2G and 3G after crossing 1G and even exceeds the maximum acceleration of 5G taken when fully braking at F1. Still no anomalies on the hull of Strandia, which eventually seemed to reach 10G. If a living human received so much G, it would not be unharmed.
Lucia and the others, however, seemed to be in conversation as usual, rather than intact at that rate. That and this thanks to Lucia's unfolding gravity-controlled magic. Her gravity-controlled magic was wiping out 10G acceleration altogether. And furthermore, she still seemed to have some leeway.
Meanwhile, Waltz, who is in space, also hung his brakes on Strandia, leaving room for him. The concern for her is whether Strandia can withstand more than output...... If Waltz and Lucia's behavior is to be compared to the outline, Stranzia would be something like the "outline" part.
'It's going to be time to get into the design safety limits, but you're really going to be okay, aren't you?
From the outside, Waltz, who knew "in calculation" how horrible the supergravity of the 10G was, still didn't seem to be worried, although he didn't see anything particularly unusual about Stranzia's black hull. If Strandia's hull can't withstand supergravity and cracks get in, the air leaks out of it. When that happens, it goes without saying what will happen to the Lucians on board.
With such concern, Waltz turned to Teresa to inquire about the situation, but still the response back from Teresa seemed no different than usual.
"So far, there's been no particular change. That's all, Miss Lucia's guy, I don't know if it's because he's too free, but he's just starting to eat sushi, isn't he?
"You can afford it..."
"How much longer is the brake going to last? I don't know from the concubines, but the brakes are pretty steep, right?
'Well... I'm hanging a brake that's pretty steeper than I assumed, so maybe another 150 seconds until I'm no longer likely to collide with the planet?
"150 seconds... (I thought it would take about two hours) It's a pretty steep brake."
"Yep. That's why I'm worried. Is it really such a sudden brake that the hull keeps... Maybe we should drop the output by now until it's critical? But then I can't afford it when something happens... '
"Well, shouldn't we keep it? Miss Lucia is supplying magic."
"... right"
When Waltz said so briefly, he didn't think of anything extra and decided to believe in Lucia.
Lucia, on the other hand, seemed to have come here and started having one concern.
"... Something's getting worse with magic..."
The magic that was pouring into Stranzia's enchants was making it harder to flush.
There are two possible possibilities for this. By supplying excessive magic, either because Enchant's magic circuit was burned out or because of physical breakage in the hull…. As things stand, if the enchant is functioning, there should be no physical damage, so it would likely be the former.
In other words, maintaining the present state involved risks. If we continue to shed the same amount of magic, in time the circuit of the enchant will completely burn out and cease to make sense. When that happens, it's very likely that the hull's strength will be lost and it will collapse unbearably to the supergravity of 10G.
Therefore Lucia glanced at Teresa. Should we continue like this, or not... I turned to that judgment.
I'm not sure if Lucia's behavior was because she knew Teresa and Waltz were communicating at this moment, or because she unconsciously relied on Teresa. However, Teresa begins to act to accomplish the role expected of Lucia without making a difference.
'... waltz. Can't you slow down a little bit? Miss Lucia is starting to feel uncomfortable with the hull enchants. "
Shortly after hearing Theresa say that, Waltz dropped the output by about 20% to reduce the acceleration to 8G. As a result, seeing Lucia had a somewhat soothing look on her face, she could apparently feel less burdened as well.
But for that matter, the time it takes to slow down is extended...... As a result, their critical outline will continue for some time now.
