Chapter 1498 - 135: Drawing Boundaries to Establish the Mountain Gate, Secret Sea and Little Cang Realm (Part 2)
Hang Yu Yan bit her lip and said, "I just can’t resign myself to this!"
Gan Shouting sighed and said, "I feel the same way."
Seeing the Xuanyue Sect vanish into smoke, and Zhongtai Sect no longer having a Cave Heaven True Master to preside, it was the perfect time for the Three Sects to join forces and seize it, yet now Han Yuan Sect has conveniently gained from it.
Seeing Hang Yu Yan still in a state of dissatisfaction, Gan Shouting advised, "There’s no need to overthink now; the timing isn’t right. Just relying on the disciples from our two sects, even against Zhongtai, we would be powerless."
After a fierce battle with Guo Monarch, the Nascent Soul cultivators from both sects suffered great losses. If Qingxuan Sect doesn’t exert effort, relying on just this bit of strength alone won’t destabilize Zhongtai,
Hang Yu Yan angrily said, "Ji Xiangping only thinks of protecting himself, with no ambition. If he had sincerely joined forces with our two sects, we could have pressured them when Xuanyue fell and wouldn’t let Han Yuan grow big."
Gan Shouting said, "Yu Yan, you don’t need to be upset. I speculate that Han Yuan trying to conquer Zhongtai will be anything but smooth sailing," he gestured northward, implying, "You must know there are more eyes fixed on the Northern Continent."
Hang Yu Yan realized and said, "Are you talking about the overseas Demon Python?"
Gan Shouting laughed, "Indeed, with Zheng Daoist’s death, I doubt they can continue to endure. Luo Mengze’s Daoist cultivation isn’t shallow either, previously wary of our alliance of five, constrained overseas. As long as we appear as bystanders, we might incite a conflict between both parties."
Hang Yu Yan pondered for a moment, then agreed, "There is reason in that, so we must return and accumulate strength, waiting for an opportunity."
In the East Hao Sea Realm, Wei Daoist was navigating through a cluster of chaotic stone reefs, flying with the wind for several hours until dusk fell, she suddenly brightened at the sight of a peculiar stone before her, and said to herself, "This is the place."
She backed up and stepped on the Gang Wind, circled the stone three times, then pointed a finger and said, "Open!"
The stone sank down with a rumble, the water boiled as if, continuously churned, and after a while, a Spirit Light-emanating Array Gate emerged from the water.
Shortly thereafter, a young man emerged, seeing Wei Daoist, hurriedly bowed and said, "It is the aunt-master who has arrived." Saying so, he sidestepped to make way.
Wei Daoist tidied her clothes and stepped inside, through the Array Gate, entering a space lit by ox horn pearl lamps, following the stone steps upward into a fog with no visible end.
She sighed regretfully, "Why the need for such caution?"
With a shake of her sleeve, revealing a part of her arm, she applied a spell from within the gate, calculating carefully for a moment, then stepped on clouds, flew to the thirty-seventh cow lamp, brushed with her sleeve, the scene changed again, arriving at a spacious Cave Mansion.
Before her was a pool over ten acres wide, strewn with vibrant petals, colorful and fragrant, the water steaming and misty, tiny holes in the cave walls emitted rays of light from outside, intertwining with the mist, making the place appear as if rainbows were dancing.
At this moment, waves spread across the water, a white fish swam over, reached the front, and transformed into a gracefully elegant woman, with a narrow waist, long legs, silver robe, and high hair, she came ashore, half-kneeling, presenting a Jade Plate, and said, "Please, Daoist Wei, bathe and change."
Glancing at the Daoist robe placed on the platter, Wei Daoist was somewhat unwilling, frowned and said, "What’s my senior brother plotting?"
As a cultivator, any dirt or dust can be cleaned with a turn of mana, leaving her somewhat disdainful of bathing.
The woman showed a pitiful expression and said, "This is the special instruction of the Realm Master. Please do not make it difficult for this servant, Daoist Wei."
Wei Daoist had no choice, hesitated for a moment, reluctantly removed her clothing, entered the pool to bathe.
After an hour, she emerged from the water, changed into the robes from the platter, led by the woman across a vine bridge between two cliffs to a solitary peak.
The surrounding scenery filled with surging sea of clouds, with the vast world seeming to leave only the spot beneath her feet.
The woman pointed at a Stone Mansion wedged within the mountain wall and said, "The Realm Master is waiting inside, Daoist Wei, please enter."
Saying so, she bowed and withdrew.
Seeing no one around, Wei Daoist pushed open the Stone Gate, storming inside angrily.
Inside the Cave Mansion sat a youth with lips red as cherries and bright brows, sitting at a table, cradling a bamboo book, engrossed in reading, evidently reaching exciting parts, occasionally expressing joy. Seeing her enter, he joyfully stood up, tossed the book aside, and said, "Junior sister is here, come sit quickly."
Originally somewhat dissatisfied, Wei Daoist saw his demeanour but couldn’t bring herself to act out, snorted and sat aside.
The youth’s eyes turned, chuckled, and said, "Junior sister, perhaps you are angry about the bathing earlier. As your senior brother, I had no choice, with the rapid changes in the East Victory Continent’s situation over these days, some disciples from Evil Sect outside seem to take advantage of the chaos to locate our Little Cang Realm, as your senior brother, I had to guard against anything being done to junior sister."
Though Wei Daoist felt displeased, she knew it was reasonable, coldly said, "If you hadn’t summoned me, do you think I would willingly come?"
The youth bowed, apologized, and said, "It’s all my fault as your senior brother."
Wei Daoist impatiently said, "Speak quickly, why did you summon me here?"
The youth returned to his seat, fixedly looking at her and said, "Junior sister, do you still remember the Three-flavor Spirit Medicine you asked for last time? This time, I wish to ask you to send some more to Han Yuan Sect."
Wei Daoist was taken aback, linked it to owing Zhang Yan a favor earlier, resorting to persuasion to obtain some spirit medicine from this stingy senior brother. Skeptical of his sudden generosity, she observed cautiously and said, "Senior brother, what are you scheming this time?"
Leaning back, the youth knocked on the table, chuckled and said, "Of course, it’s not for free. You go and tell Sect Leader Zhang, there’s plenty of spirit medicine here, all I ask for is some Treasure Materials from refining Heavenly Demons in exchange."
