Darenidemo Dekiru Kage Kara Tasukeru Maō Tōbatsu

Thirty-eighth report: exploration

I will give up looking efficiently and check every room.

There are basically no doors in the temple room. Perhaps to allow the Spirit to enter and leave freely, most of the rooms were empty but some of them were inhabited by demons and could not be alarmed.

Peek inside the fifth room, manage to trump the demon that appeared, and Fujido sighs.

"... ahhh, it's too wide. It's a hell of a place."

"If it weren't for Mermaid Armor, I wouldn't even have been able to challenge you."

Remiss also tells us that he has opened up to a situation that is more difficult than expected.

If you check carefully, you can see pieces of human bone rolling all over the temple.

I don't think ordinary human beings can get this far, so it's probably from the demon conductor who came to sign with the Spirit just like the Fujido and the others. I guess he was a pretty good magician that he came this far without mermaid armor, but now that he's boned, it doesn't mean anything.

Whether it belongs to the challenger, sometimes it falls like a rusty knife or a decaying wand, but it's unlikely to work properly.

Rabbi says as he pinches up the gold coin that was falling at the end of the aisle and flips over the back table to observe it.

"... it's not where people are supposed to come from. Mage is really a lot of strangers..."

"... I can't argue with that."

Magic guidance is not the natural area where people should step in. As far as the countries that once outlawed the research were concerned.

Now that technology has been drilled and spread to the public, everyone will have seen witchcraft once, and there are few things to yearn for, but that's also because of the pervasive perception that witchcraft can help people.

Power needs a price, the Wizard has so far abandoned all sorts of things to develop its path. Some of them are just nauseating if you're a regular person to ask.

I can even say that the submarine temple is a lot better than those things.

Fujido drops his shoulder as he checks the room, taking care not to step on the red isoginchuk that was stuck on the floor.

You're not even in this room?

"It's not clear... even if we check all the rooms, we won't be able to find them. What shape is the Spirit of Water in the first place?

"... I think it's a pseudomorphism in aquatic life. I may be in the shape of a person..."

To Rimis' answer, Aria looks down at Isogynchuk, which Fujido avoided. Rimis hastily added.

"Oh, but I think you'll find out somehow. Because the Spirit is not a creature... no matter how fictional it was, you can tell. Besides, spirits don't necessarily mean there's only one."

"... I see. Well, I'll pack up my combat experience with demons, and I'll spend days looking for them."

Garnett, down on the floor, is just staring around. but apparently I'm not even looking for a spirit of purpose.

... It's going to take longer than expected.

Grasp the sleeve tightly without the rabbi giving it a look.

There are many unknown parts for Ares and the others when it comes to spiritual magic. So I expected it to take a while, but I just wanted it to be over if possible.

The longer it takes, the more likely it is to be an accident. It's only insurance that the rabbi has followed. Insurance in case unrivaled demons show up in the Vines. Not to mention, I can't get through to the boss right now.

I just had to hope that nothing would happen if you gave me this far.

Staring at Fujido and the others, Fujimis and I gaze at each other.

"Speaking of which, can you fight?

"Huh... do I look like I can fight?

Make sure you scratch your arms and the rabbi looks up and misses.

Rimis laughed bitterly at the way it was so full of gaps.

"... such a frightening thing - you can't see"

"I hope you don't expect too much"

"But how do you usually travel when you can't fight?"

"We're hiring an escort. Demon research is an important task. There is a lot of demand, especially these days. Knowing weaknesses and behavioral tendencies can fight in your favor... oh, be careful that little jellyfish, it has paralysis poison"

A large jellyfish that attacked me to cover it. Fujido truncates the tentacles he has stretched.

He leans back a few steps and goes all the way outside that tentacle reach before the rabbi cheers.

"It is forbidden to be alarmed. It doesn't seem like a very strong demon will come out, but signs are hard to detect here... so watch out for demons coming from above."

"Oh, oh..."

He retightened his mind and doubled the body of the jellyfish, which seemed translucent and built-in, with the slaughter unleashed with temper.

I feel potential, but I have no experience. Not enough levels. If you say it only because of the strength of the current situation, is it above or below the top even if you estimate it sweet considering the size of the equipment? As a soldier hired by the country, you'd be skilled there, but you don't have the power to ripen the major role of the Demon King Crusade.

I see, immature. The rabbi saw the Fujido and the others continuing their exploration and concluded so.

I'm also used to fighting demons, and demons that show up near people can largely defeat them, but with accidents it's easy to wipe them all out. That level.

Rabbi is not technically a mercenary. but I have done many tasks mixed with mercenaries. I have also seen many mercenaries at the Fujido level today. but how many survive now...

The layers of the Demon King's Army are thicker than the people. If we go to the front line right now, we won't have it for a month with the Fujido guys right now.

The great strength of a person is its total number. Just a handful of polished balls support the front line out of massive amounts of stone.

It's pretty hard to produce that artificially. Because luck is involved.

No matter how generous you follow, when you die, you die. In fact, there were several disciples of Blanc Shuttle, but only a handful are still alive, including Rabbi and Sanya.

"Did you connect to the boss?

'... no. This... has never happened before...'

The quiet voice that pushed and killed the upset echoes into my brain.

The boss is an authentic ball. I thought you were sad when they told me to cross the ocean, but I had the strength to accomplish it. Holy Church of Az-Greed, which boasts the greatest forces. Even when it comes to groups of monks and such, they turn that far if they are also at the top of it.

The boss is too used to fighting, even if he can handle powerful sacraments and other reasons.

If that thing was sneaking off on my side and targeting this one's neck with tiger vision - I'm not sure even a cowardly, constantly failing to be on perimeter alert rabbi can avoid it.

The opponent is a Demon King's Army executive. Whoever you've been dealing with who you haven't been fit to hurt as one, if you hit him, you can definitely defeat him if he's going to die. The rabbi was so sure.

Until this morning.

"I have a bad feeling..."

……

It had already been less than three hours since the rabbis broke into the submarine temple. Amelia would have been trying to communicate all that time.

If you're temporarily disconnected, you should still think that something has happened when communications have been disconnected for a long time.

"Mr. Rabbi, what's wrong?

"... no"

You had a dark look on your face, and Fujido gives you a voice and a face.

I would also consider evacuating one end out of the way, but some danger is well known. In the first place, there can be no safe demon king crusade.

Perhaps the boss won't get mad at you for taking the choice to withdraw here, but you have to do more than you're being paid to do. No, Rabbi has to make the right choice now because he doesn't have a boss.

"If you're tired, shall we rest?

"No, never mind. Even if it looks like this, I have strength..."

I shake my neck sideways small on the words hung with care.

Not as good as Sanya, but Rabbi has his pride too. It is about the size of the bean grain.

I stared at Rabbi's face as Fujido noticed something. Continue to check from toe to head, look at the bright red eyes and their ears shining in the red edge glasses, and give them a look that doesn't seem to fall on their hearts.

"By the way, has it never been anywhere?

"Maybe not. I'm on a journey, so there's a chance I might have been wrong somewhere."

We looked at each other once in the mountainous village, but the outfit was different then and now in the rabbi. Your face is the same. But the impression you make is very different if you change your behavior.

Fujido frowned for a while, but nodded loudly, thinking it was a mistake.

Walk through a cold temple with an atmosphere that isn't strange if ghosts show up, carefully checking every room.

The investigation was more difficult to navigate than expected.

Stairs in countless branched hallways. The demons that appear from time to time and the dim rooms that do not have any sense of life present can even feel the intention of tormenting the visitor.

I checked the inside of the room I don't remember many more times. The remiss shrugs like it doesn't seem to fall.

"You don't even have a sign. I've been walking for a long time... and the Spirit of the Water must have noticed us... and I don't think it's weird that we're approaching from the other side."

A small flock of fish is slowly swimming down the aisle.

The remiss stares reflexively, but it's just a fish. There is no way the Spirit is simulating it. Not just this time fish, but inside the temple, besides demons, were inhabited by diverse creatures, but so far I have not seen a shadow like it.

However, we have to check which way, so the spirit of Fujido and the others will be shredded.

"Is it always so hard to make a contract with a superior spirit?

"Hmmm...... maybe it's just better knowing you're more likely to be in this place. Well what's really hard is negotiating since I found the Spirit..."

To Fujido's question, Rimis returns with a small sigh.

First of all, the Spirit has to like it in order to make a covenant with the Spirit.

Criteria vary from individual to individual. Some powerful wizards make unconditional covenants, while others make contributions. Sometimes they impose some kind of life-threatening test, sometimes they help us for no reason.

I didn't know how many days it would take for this minute. It would be quite unlikely that it would work, at least, by the end of the day.

"I think the bargaining itself would be a little less hurdled if it were Nao, who has the protection of the Spirit King, or me, who is already under contract with the superior Spirit - ugh!?

The whole temple shivered slightly at that moment when favourable conditions were about to be offered.

Fujido looks up as if he had stirred up and looks around in a hurry. Aria pulls out her sword and alerts the area. Gresha also rarely lifts her head and looks at the aisle with a grumpy look.

The little fish run away as if they were going to be chased away. It was for a moment that the temple swayed. Quiet returns soon.

"... what now... earthquake?

"... is it the Spirit's intention?

Become one piece and clear your ears. Observe the area, but nothing has changed.

Aria flattens her hand against the wall and checks for vibrations. I just get a cold feeling back, as usual, and I can't feel any additional shaking, etc.

What was that? What was that?

Fujido's gaze, guarding his surroundings without alarm, captured the look on Fujirabi's face.

"... rabbi...?

"... I'll run away"

My ears were trembling in the partition. Crimson eyes look around, frightened.

My hands are gripped to the point of whitening at my chest, and my voice is shaking fine. Incredible change in attitude to the point where I was resolute.

"Huh...?

His eyes looked at Fujido and shrunk slightly. The rabbi screams with a desperate look.

"It's a sign of a powerful demon. Look, run...... let's go outside right now. You're gonna die! Look! Don't look out of between, run!!
