Chapter 75— Carnage in the Sunken Chamber.

The deafening roar of the Abyssal Leviathan, Abzu, shattered the cavern’s air, producing a violent spatial shockwave that sent thousands of gallons of water cascading against the granite walls like heavy artillery.

The two-hundred-foot aquatic dragon, its scales glowing with dark blue runes and its crimson eyes burning with ancient hatred, did not differentiate between factions. To the Tier-EX World Boss, every soul inside the flooded amphitheater was an intruder to be erased.

GROOOOOOOAR!

A colossal wave of pressurized, dark aquatic plasma erupted from the Leviathan’s maw, sweeping directly toward the front lines of the Radiant Covenant!

"RAISE DEFENSES!" High Lord Aurelius screamed, his face contorting as the golden light of his aura flared to its peak. "Vanguard Paladins, deploy the Aegis Wall! Archmages, cast Divine Barrier!"Three hundred heavy tower shields slammed into the flooded floor in unison.

BOOOOM!

A massive, golden barrier forged from combined holy energy snapped into existence just as the dark plasma stream struck. The impact shook the entire subterranean cavern, throwing dozens of paladins off their feet and vaporizing the surrounding water into a blinding cloud of scalding steam.

[WORLD BOSS ENGAGED!]

TARGET: Abyssal Leviathan—Abzu (Tier-EX)

RAID AGGRO: The Radiant Covenant (85%)

CASUALTIES: 14 Knights (vaporized)

---

"Dammit!" Aurelius bellowed, wiping blood from his forehead as the hot steam scorched his armor. "Reorganize formation! Archers, target the Leviathan’s eye! Spellcasters, channel Lightning Spear!"Amidst the roaring chaos, spell incantations, and screaming knights, Kaelen stood completely still at the center of the battlefield.

He hadn’t drawn his sword, nor had he cast a single defensive spell. The spatial distortion field surrounding his body passively deflected every stray blast of elemental magic and rogue water jet, leaving his dark coat and trousers impeccably dry and untouched.

Lyra stood beside him, her staff glowing with a serene golden shield that easily repelled the scalding steam. Ignis held his flaming broadsword ready, watching the panic-stricken five-hundred-man army with a broad grin.

"Look at them," Ignis laughed softly over the roar of the monster. "They brought five hundred men to ambush us, and now they’re acting as our personal tank squad against the world boss!""Aurelius thought numbers would give him control," Ren said smoothly, his eyes flashing behind his visor as he recorded the entire battle data.

"He didn’t realize that in an enclosed arena, high-density player clusters just make it easier for a Tier-EX boss to land wipe-tier AoE attacks."

"Kaelen," Lyra whispered softly, her hand gently touching his arm as she looked into his dark violet eyes. "How do you wish to finish this?"Kaelen slowly turned his head to look at Aurelius, who was frantically barking orders to keep his crumbling lines from shattering under the Leviathan’s relentless tail sweeps.

"The play has gone on long enough," Kaelen purred softly, his low velvet voice effortlessly cutting through the roar of the storm.

He took a single step forward into thin air.

SLICING WHISPER—

Kaelen vanished from the central platform.

A fraction of a second later, he materialized fifty feet high in the air, directly above the center of the battlefield—standing on empty space right between the hovering head of the two-hundred-foot Leviathan and the five-hundred-man army below.

[SYSTEM WARNING!]

Sovereign presence detected!

Zone spatial code: overridden!

---

"Look up!" a paladin screamed, pointing toward the sky. "It’s Kaelen! He’s flying?!"

Aurelius snapped his head up, his eyes widening in sheer disbelief as he saw Kaelen floating in the air without any wing artifacts or flight magic circles beneath his boots.

"ARCHERS! MAGES!" Aurelius roared in desperation, pointing his glowing broadsword at Kaelen. "IGNORE THE LEVIATHAN! Fire at Kaelen! KILL HIM NOW!"

Over one hundred archers and mages instantly redirected their spells. A terrifying storm of elemental fireballs, lightning bolts, and enchanted arrows rained down on Kaelen simultaneously, blocking out the light of the cavern ceiling!

Kaelen didn’t even bother to dodge.

He slowly reached down to his waist, his dark-gloved fingers wrapping tightly around the hilt of the Void Blade.

"Void art," Kaelen whispered softly.

SHING—!

The dark katana left its scabbard by three inches. A pitch-black ripple of absolute spatial deletion expanded outward from the hilt in a vast, spherical wave.

SWOOSH!

The storm of one hundred high-tier spells and enchanted arrows didn’t explode. The moment they touched the expanding sphere of black spatial mana, they simply ceased to exist—their magical code erased down to raw atomic data!

"WHAT?!" Aurelius gasped, taking a step back as his face drained of all color. "My guild’s combined bombardment...

vanished?!""You speak of ruling Floor 2," Kaelen murmured smoothly, his dark voice resonating from the heavens like the judgment of a dark deity. "Yet you do not even understand the foundation of the world you stand upon."Kaelen drew the void blade completely.

The moment the full black blade emerged, the water beneath their feet stopped flowing. The giant Abyssal Leviathan froze mid-roar, its primitive instincts screaming in absolute terror as it sensed an existence far more ancient and destructive than itself.

"Sovereign Secret Art: Spatial Funeral!"

Kaelen swung the Void Blade downward in a single, elegant vertical stroke.

SKRRRRRRRAASH!

A three-hundred-meter fissure of pitch-black dimensional void cleaved straight through the air, dividing the grand amphitheater in two!

The spatial tear sliced cleanly through the massive neck of the two-hundred-foot Abyssal Leviathan, through the heavy golden vanguard line of the Radiant Covenant, and deep into the solid granite bedrock beneath the flooded floor!

BOOOOOM!

The giant two-hundred-foot Leviathan didn’t even have time to shriek. Its massive body collapsed into two geometric halves, instantly exploding into a mountain of rare golden loot, spatial gems, and world boss essence particles!

Behind the dead monster, over two hundred elite knights of the Covenant vanished into white death light simultaneously; their high-tier golden armor was sliced cleanly in half!

Silence—absolute, suffocating silence—fell over the remaining three hundred players of the army.

Aurelius stood frozen in the knee-deep water, his broadsword trembling violently in his gauntleted hand. The front half of his golden cape had been clipped by the edge of the spatial fissure, disintegrating into black dust.

"One... one strike...?" Aurelius stammered, his bloodshot eyes staring at the massive mountain of World Boss loot floating in the water, then up at Kaelen, who was slowly descending from the sky to land gracefully on the central stone. "He killed a Tier-EX World Boss and wiped half my army... with a single swing?!"Kaelen smoothly snapped the Void Blade back into its sheath.

CLICK.

The click echoed like a death knell through the silent cavern.

Kaelen walked calmly across the water toward the trembling High Lord, his hands tucked back into his dark coat pockets. Lyra, Tsubaki, Ignis, and Ren stepped up behind him, their expressions calm and victorious.

"Aurelius," Kaelen purred softly, stopping five paces from the broken guild leader.

"Your army is broken. Your World Boss is dead. Tell me... does the Radiant Covenant wish to continue this war?Aurelius looked at Kaelen’s emotionless dark violet eyes, then back at his surviving men, who were dropping their weapons in sheer terror, refusing to fight any longer.

THUD.

High Lord Aurelius dropped his legendary broadsword into the flooded water. He slowly fell to his knees before Kaelen, his head bowed in complete, humiliated defeat.

"We... we surrender," Aurelius choked out, his voice cracking with crushed pride. "Floor 2... belongs to the sovereign."

Kaelen looked down at the kneeling High Lord with cold, amused indifference before turning his eyes toward the grand spatial portal appearing at the back of the arena—the doorway leading to Floor 3.

"Collect the World Boss drops, Ren," Kaelen commanded smoothly, pulling Lyra close to his side as a soft, victorious smile curved his lips. "Our stay on Floor 2 is finished."
