"What about your Fisher? Now that he’s back, are you planning to rely just on bickering to compete with Phoenix over him, waiting for her to get mad and drive you away?"

"Business is business, Valentina won’t blur the lines."

"..." After a moment of silence, Pahetz sighed, his tone lowering, "Alright, Alagina, I understand. I don’t really have any issues with that Phoenix. You know, she’s done quite well recently. She hasn’t targeted you or us because of you and Fisher’s situation, it’s just..."

The Cardinal of Destiny seemed to have heard the noise inside. He stopped alongside Fisher, while Emhardt, who heard nothing, glanced at them perplexedly, just about to speak when Fisher stopped him.

Inside, Pahetz’s hesitant voice continued uninterrupted,

"It’s just that we can’t live like we used to, Alagina."

"..."

"It’s not that you haven’t done well before, nor are we disloyal to you. You should understand our feelings towards you. But there has to be an end to such days. We can’t drift on the sea forever. Many sisters are getting old and haven’t even touched a man. I, at least, have Jack and Karma; you have Fisher. But what about them?"

"..."

"They also want a home, a place to settle and develop steadily. Sardinia Female Country seems hopeless, but maybe the Wutong Tree is an opportunity. Can you understand what I mean, Alagina?"

"..."

"I can tell you have no sense of belonging here. You treat this place as a temporary stop, still thinking of leading the sisters away if given the chance. That’s why I wanted to talk about our thoughts."

"..."

After a long silence, Pahetz sighed again,

"...Sorry, Alagina, I’ve said too much today. Regardless, you are our leader, and we support everything you do. Just treat it as if I haven’t said anything today, okay? I’m going to check on how Karma and Isabella’s hunting is."

"Alright, you go ahead, Pahetz... I’ll consider what you’ve said carefully."

"Hmm, don’t worry about it too much. We’ve followed you for so many years."

"Creak~"

The door to Alagina’s lab suddenly swung open. Fisher and the Cardinal of Destiny began to move at the end of the opposite hallway. Pahetz noticed them immediately, gesturing enthusiastically,

"Ah, Mr. Fisher, really now, I thought you hadn’t come to check on the Captain after returning, but it turns out you’ve already been here before. This is really... Captain, look, Fisher is here!"

"Long time no see, Chief Officer Pahetz. I’m here to discuss something with Alagina."

"Ah, I understand, I understand. I won’t bother you. I’ll go see where my cute granddaughter has gone to play."

Pahetz chuckled, patting his reasonably grand belly as he walked past Fisher and the Cardinal of Destiny and headed outside.

The Cardinal of Destiny looked back at Pahetz briefly, while Fisher had already entered the laboratory and saw Alagina’s face, which had returned to normal.

She smiled, just about to say something when she caught a glimpse of the Cardinal of Destiny floating in from the door,

"Fisher, this is..."

"This is Senior Ashley, our partner. This is Alagina, my..."

"Your woman."

Fisher smiled helplessly, looking at Alagina, who suddenly stood a little straighter, and softly said,

"According to the concept of Sardinia Female Country, shouldn’t I be her man?"

"It’s all pretty much the same. Let’s get straight to the point."

Alagina looked at Fisher in confusion, watching him size up Cardinal David, pausing for a moment before speaking,

"Alagina, we’d like to ask you to take us to the Angel Sanctuary in the Spirit Realm."

"Beep Beep... Alagina, do you need me to explain the situation to Mr. Fisher?"

David’s blue light flickered as he spoke, and upon hearing this, Alagina first shook her head, then looked at Fisher and said,

"It’s possible, but the Cardinal can only carry one living thing besides me, so it’s only possible for both Fisher and me to go."
