Chapter 1678: Vashak
After Demon Bar appeared, the Dark Magic Array controlled by Yongfang Chunlan shook violently and disintegrated even more quickly.

Bar glanced at Vashak, "Are you questioning my ability?"
"How could I? I wouldn’t dare. I thought my abilities would certainly help you, my lord, so I climbed out at any cost." Vashak smiled sycophantically, "A blessing in disguise, indeed. My body was unfortunately split in half, but now I can divide into two beings. My other half can remain in the Abyss, calming demons who failed to climb out.
Without you, Lord Bar, the Abyss would soon be in chaos.
If you, Lord Bar, are prepared to welcome the remaining demons, or if any accidents occur along the way, I can easily inform the other demons."
As he spoke, Vashak’s gaze swept across both Yangfang Chunlan in the sky and Bai Jin, who was frowning.

Agares looked at the energy storage gauge visible only to himself.
Creating traps and supporting the Dark Magic Array had consumed significant energy, and using more Teleportation Magic meant he wouldn’t have enough energy to teleport Lord Bar out of here.
He now needed to be cautious to accomplish his task without incident.
Agares resisted doubting Lord Bar’s capabilities, but judging from Bai Jin and their initial performance, Lord Bar might suffer losses at Bai Jin and their hands.
This task truly carried heavy responsibilities.
Just as he thought this, Yongfang Chunlan’s telepathy echoed in Agares’s ears, Yongfang Chunlan’s voice faltering:

With a flick of his pinkie, the dark magic power followed Bar’s will into his grasp, forming a narrow trident.
Bai Jin barely counteracted the Summoning Magic, quickly exhausting herself, fatigue surged within her.
Just as her right eyelid twitched, Bar suddenly disappeared.
An ominous sense rose in her heart, and the next second, Bar appeared before Bai Jin, aiming a stab at her neck with the trident.
Bai Jin swiftly deployed a Shield!
The trident struck the Shield with black lightning, instantly blasting Bai Jin tens of meters away.
Bai Jin’s Magic Shield barely endured Bar’s attack, the black current rapidly corroded the Shield used for defense, corrupting it into darkness, transforming into Black Flames, raging around Bai Jin.
