Chapter 1651: The Plan Comes Together
Sol Rott’s voice was sonorous and powerful, exuding a kind of grandeur and majesty that was hard to articulate.
The young man hiding in the shadows secretly clapped his hands, growing increasingly in admiration for this middle-aged, stubbly uncle, wishing to become like him one day.
An S-Class adventurer present raised his hand and asked:
"We more or less understand the situation. Could you first tell us where exactly the Evil Dragon is now?
So that we can make preparations.
We need to devise a battle plan based on different locations."
Sol Rott raised his head and gazed into the distance,
"The Evil Dragon is on the easternmost side of the Luo Ze Empire.
Across the sea, atop the Demon King City!
That area is shrouded in Deceit Fog."
The asking S-Class adventurer was instantly left speechless.
The easternmost side of the Luo Ze Empire?
To move from here to there would require an extremely complex Teleportation Magic Array and a tremendous amount of Magic Power, but they had been hurrying here all this time, and neither had they seen any Teleportation Magic Array nor sensed any great Magic Power.
It’s important to know that they had managed to appear here from afar by using various Teleportation Arrays, and the Magician responsible for the transportation almost exhausted their Magic Power.
How to reach the easternmost side of the Luo Ze Empire from here, let alone continue across the sea...
Are you sure by taking this long, the Evil Dragon won’t escape?
Furthermore, the enemy is in the Demon King City... Is there some collusion between the Evil Dragon and the Demon King?
I’ve never heard of it! We only want to deal with the Evil Dragon, not the Demon King!
Sol Rott seemed to see through their thoughts and said:
"There are those who will naturally deal with the Demon King; we just need to deal with the Evil Dragon and her offspring.
Come on, decide!
It’s not too late to back out now.
Even though you were called here by him, I won’t force you to fight.
If you want to leave, then hurry up and go!"
The S-Class adventure group present chuckled; although they were blessed to leverage the Teleportation Array of the Goddess Sect through Yang Yu’s good fortune to arrive here, they endured much hardship en route here, and turning back now would result in great loss.
House Polpo, the leader of the S-Class adventure group "Immortal Vajra," clapped his fists with a confident smile:
"If anyone should hurry and take us, it’s you. We’ve been waiting long enough!
Speaking of which, I fought against the captain of that tracking strategy group and was utterly defeated.
More than those Evil Dragons, I am eager to have another match with him!"
Countless muscular men behind House Polpo were eager to try; the "Immortal Vajra" had long gathered together once more, even rallying a few retired former "Immortal Vajra" members.
Last time, they missed the opportunity to subdue the Evil Dragon due to the distance, and they wouldn’t miss it this time.
House Polpo glared provocatively at the fellow S-Class adventure group:
"Cowards who retreat at the name of the Demon King, it’s best for you to pack your things and leave early!
Don’t embarrass yourselves here!
If the Demon King dares to approach, I’ll take him down too!"
One remark triggered a thousand ripples, and several unwilling-to-lose S-Class adventure groups declared, "Only fools would be cowards! You’re so arrogant; after everything’s done, let’s find time for a duel!", completely forgetting that the S-Class adventure group "Immortal Vajra" was thought irritating only because they’d duel anyone everywhere.
House Polpo barely cared about others’ opinions, glancing at Glantham, the leader of "Dragon God’s Might," with eyes that seemed to say, "I’ve said everything you instructed me to. Don’t forget the promise you once made. After this battle here, have a good fight with me."
If all went well, Glantham would fulfill his promise to House Polpo.
But it relied on everything going smoothly.
Once having exchanged blows with the offspring of the Evil Dragon, Glantham knew the journey ahead was fraught with danger, yet he must lead everyone here to act.
If nobody acted, the crisis of the Evil Dragon would certainly spread across the Continent, wreaking havoc on life.
However, now more than confronting the Evil Dragon, Glantham was eager to see how this middle-aged, stubbly man intended to send them to the battlefield.
Although he had only met Yang Yu a few times, Glantham trusted him a great deal.
Yang Yu would entrust this middle-aged man, certainly having confidence.
The road is already paved. No one will run away from battle. What’s left depends on this man.
Sol Rott scratched his head, once again sensing the extraordinary nature of Yang Yu.
Slowly revealing a smile, Sol Rott stomped the ground forcefully, leaping into the air and addressed all the adventurers present:
"Since it’s decided!
There’s no time to waste, begin preparing!
Everyone, stand back!
Otherwise, I might accidentally trample you."
Trample?
What does that mean?
Just as several adventurers were puzzled, a pair of massive black bat-wings unfurled from Sol Rott’s back, casting a gigantic shadow.
Fine dragon scales swiftly climbed up Sol Rott’s body, covering his face.
Then, Sol Rott expanded rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye, becoming as large as a small mountain in the blink of an eye; a long dragon’s tail obscured the sky, possessing the potential to sweep across mountains, black fangs formed a prominent underbite, seemingly able to pierce through any hard object.
All the S-Class adventure groups present were stunned, including Glantham.
A giant dragon?
That scruffy, stubbly uncle is actually a giant dragon!
Several S-Class adventurers sensed something was off—giant dragons known for their neutrality would never join a plan to subdue an Evil Dragon, even if the Evil Dragon threatened their status!
Could it be the figure present isn’t a giant dragon, but the Evil Dragon instead? Is he intending to capture all S-Class adventure groups in one swoop?
Those S-Class adventurers clutched their weapons tightly, instinctively looking towards Glantham.
Glantham, having fought the offspring of the Evil Dragon, must know what the Evil Dragon looks like.
Glantham snapped out of his surprise and told the surrounding S-Class adventurers:
"Move back a bit, or you might be trampled by this enormous body.
Quickly gather our partners, be prepared at all times.
We are going to the other side of the sea to subdue the Evil Dragon!"
...
...
Sitting atop Black Diamond Lorne’s steel creation, Yang Yu looked in the direction where Sol Rott was.
Sol Rott indeed had the ability to transform into a giant dragon, but this was the first time fully unleashing the power, transforming into a giant dragon; Yang Yu hoped all would proceed smoothly.
... It should be worry-free.
Sol Rott, after all, was chosen to be the giant dragon; what’s been explained has been explained; living as a soldier, he’d make his own judgment.
Clearing the doubt in his mind, Yang Yu gazed forward, finally seeing the location of the transmission platform.
The battle between the Demon King and the Hero had already begun; they couldn’t afford to delay any longer.
