Yang Yu felt increasingly uneasy, questioning why the Molting was taking so long.
Could this shield be on the verge of breaking down from the strain?
Just then, with a sharp "snap," the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly] in Yang Yu’s hand shattered, scattering into countless glowing fragments around him.
Yang Yu and Gao Yuanyi were both stunned into silence.
Gao Yuanyi quickly deferred responsibility, "I hardly applied any force, just like you said. It broke on its own."
Yang Yu regained his senses, looking at the shield’s handle in his hand, and then at the scattered shield fragments nearby.
